If you haven’t seen it yet, take a sharpie and place a line on the variator face. What is left after riding is an indicator of how high the belt rides up the variator face. Also, look at office supply store for a garbage can, many have a very similar mesh used on them.
Thanks for the advise buddy 😊 I did try the pen mark idea and I have no line left so I assume it rides up the variator all the way pretty much lol 🤞 I will try it again for sure though, and with the added view by removing the cover I can see exactly how it rides the variator 👍

Great stuff, really coming together, definitely prefer the wheel covers. I have some black ones I was going to do a bbs style graphic for a jog build I’ve got. The smoked indicators were standard for Japanese market along with the smoked tail light. You should be able to grab both from the yahoo auctions. Pretty sure I still have a nos fitting kit for a basket - nut/spacer/studs all in one, let me know if it’s of any use, happy to donate to your project 👍

I was tempted to do the rear also 😊 I actually have the fitting kit, it was supplied with the basket. It's seen better days for sure though lol 👍
