    Farsports are also amazing wheels. Can be fully customized. With stainless steel ultralight and durable spokes, rims and hubs that you can choose from. Or their pre-built options.

    Can't wait for you to get your hands on the Hyper 2023 (They have 33s) which are lighter and they claim to have fixed some spoke issues that they had.

    The Pirelli Pzero road tires mount much more easily than GP5000s. Pretty important for not getting stranded.

    DT350 still on star ratchet, they did a nice update of the MTB version to the point it was essentially at 240 star ratchet spec. Still waiting for the road version to drop 😴

      You could use road end caps on the newer 350 hubs. No CL option though.

    I have 50mm and 65mm Winspace Hyper X sets. Both excellent. Yes - get proper brake pads (SRAM, Swiss Stop brake pads work great). The pads that come w/Hyper X wheels use those at first.

    Have you tried the "winspace routte" wheel versions ? Im confused about what the difference is in performance (other than the obvious, carbon spokes). Do they use the same rim? I need an everyday all-around wheelset fast and good for the long rides that isn't too harsh . I did consider hyper 50s but don't know if they are uncomfortable over a long distance. Im 85kg😢

    What do you think of the S-Works Romin EVO saddle? I want one but just cant justify the price. Also I have rode rim brakes and disk breaks and I will say this. Disk brakes have ALOT of stopping power which is why they tend to lock up REAL quick. Where as rims do take a bit longer before they lock up, which is the safer way to break. BUT having tried both I just personally feel safer riding on disks if only they didn't have the tendency to lock up so fast they would be perfect, if your going fast enough though nothing is safe we just try to have control over being out of control.

    Hi, on your website you recommend the Hyper 33’s, but here the 38’s. I have a 2012 Cervélo R5 rim brake bike, and also live in a very hilly windy county in the UK. Would you recommend the 33’s or 38’s? Thanks mate.

    How does the Drive wheels compare to the hypers?

    • @thebespokecyclist3624
      @thebespokecyclist3624 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Have both. Drive is waaaay lighter even with 28 which they're designed for. Hypers are heavier and only can use 25. The new Hypers they just released a few days ago is more similar to the Drive but they're still heavier.

    Question for you: I'm not a UCI pro but I still like adhering to the rulebook for bike weight just because it gives a target for my builds, if my bike is already at 15lb with the 50mm hypers would you still recommend the 38s over the 50s since they sacrifice some aero performance?

    • @durianriders
      @durianriders  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The most aero wheels are shallow. Unless you only ride in calm conditions and average 45kph
