    THIS IS SO GOOD!!! Everyone talks about what the inner child is, where the inner child comes from, how it manifests in our lives, etc, but no one tells you HOW to talk to it!! This is exactly the information I’ve been looking for. This information is gold. Thank you so much!!

    Thank you for answering a question I had about the command to “Stop it!” I had been wondering who that was aimed towards. Now I know it’s for the adult, not the inner child.

I am creating a new way of seeing the world and am experiencing life changing experiences.

    Hi David & Alex... I love your videos and have been watching them religiously since I found your channel... So, thank you! The more I am learning, the more I am concerned that my parenting probably created that inner child within my actual children, I am sad to say. My oldest son is 17 and my younger son is 13. How old do you recommend a person should be to start working on their inner child? DO you have any suggestions on how to begin inner child work amongst my actual children? Thank you again.

      *I'm not a trained professional*
      I think we can start inner child work at any age. We begin to work on ourselves- learn to create a nurturing inner parent for your inner child. This practice might reflect in how you be a parent to your actual children. Kindly note that the parental requirements for your inner child and actual children could be different

    Hi from Ottawa, Canada.
    First thing first, thank you so much for all these videos and material. Just discovered your channel. It is a life line!
    My question to you guys is: when does the inner child work stop, or does it ever - on the assumptions that i’ve resolved some issues of mine. Is this a way of life that every day, one needs to meditate?
    Thank you again!

    hmm...bsm ..This is so true David. Ultimately as you said the adult conscious person(integrated innerchild plus adult) has to be in the pilot seat. Normally the innerchild is in auto.pilot mode. Very well.explained being such a significant yet complex topic. Tks David and Alex for such valuable content.🙏

    Thank you for the video!
    I have a question about a roadblock I'm experiencing when it comes to believing I'm not good enough. When I ask my inner child why I believe I'm not good enough, I answer: "because my ex literally told me I'm not good enough".
    And so I ask: "why do I believe what they said?"
    And my child responds: "because I want to believe them. I respect their beliefs."
    Adult me: "why do I respect their beliefs?"
    Child me: "because I love them and I want to be respectful of their beliefs"
    I understand that my inner child is using love to resist further questioning. But adult me wonders: if this exercise takes me to a place where the next step is to ask my inner child why I believe loving someone means I have to respect their beliefs, how do I proceed without repeating the same pattern I experienced with my ex where they would tell me I'm not good enough for them?
    If I ask my inner child why I believe loving someone means I have to respect their beliefs, am I not challenging my own beliefs about love to teach myself how to disregard another person's beliefs about me? Am I not just telling my inner child that my beliefs about love aren't good enough?
    How do I navigate my inner child's beliefs about love without telling my inner child that my beliefs aren't good enough? More generally, how do I separate my beliefs from the love I feel without telling myself that love isn't enough?

    • @ofthe8263
      @ofthe8263 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Further down the line, if I ask my inner child to challenge my beliefs about love in this way, am I telling myself that self-love matters less?

    • @ofthe8263
      @ofthe8263 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Also, if I'm talking to my inner child about an experience I had as an adult, is the experience still relevant to the exercise? I mean.. I guess everyone's inner child is always present in some way, right? Do I steer my inner child to ignore this event and link the red light feelings to an experience from childhood instead?

    But, how to continue, i ask my inner ch why you belive you are not good enough, she say, because of school, ask her, why, she say because i hadnt full 5 grades in school(it is maximum, i had 4,5)
    What to ask next?
    Ask her, why is so important, she say, because somebody tald me and People belive if you are 5 grades that you are good enough and perfect.

      Hello, Thank you for taking the time and trouble to watch and comment on our videos and work; we appreciate your interest. Perhaps ask her why she is so ready to believe what others say? In the Wu Wei Wisdom model, a belief is deeper and more foundational than a thought. Beliefs are typically constructed in childhood, around 6 to 9 years old. Beliefs are gathered from three main areas. 1) Authority figures, parents, family members, teachers, and friends. 2) Culture/religion, 3) Personal events and experiences. Those foundational beliefs then influence our thoughts and thinking, creating emotions when encountering reality. It sounds like the little one is putting to much importance on number one, Why don't you consider joining our FREE Wu Wei Wisdom Community Facebook support group - we answer questions and offer guidance and teachings to our members here: facebook.com/groups/wuweiwisdomcommunity/. How can you do that with panic attacks which come out of nowhere?
    If IC belief is not good enough due to being told" good for nothing, amount to nothing " .

      Hi @shyanndias3112,
      How about saying "I used to believe" or "I used to think" instead of "I used to feel." It's great that you're reflecting on your past experiences and recognising how your perspectives have evolved. Remember, every step forward is a positive move towards resolving issues and enhancing your Shen spirit.
