    I love these videos! They're all excellent, but of the videos I've seen so far, this is by far the best! You brought up some excellent points, and I'm looking forward to bringing this knowledge to my inner child. 🙂

    It's the memory and beliefs that chain us. How to break them? Recreate new memories and new beliefs.

    What’s the reason people choose to punish themselves worse than how they were treated?

    • @WuWeiWisdom
      @WuWeiWisdom  3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      It can be for several reasons, so we can't be specific to one person - example reasons include: 1. so that if someone does treat them badly in the future it won't be as bad as how they are used to (treating themselves) OR 2. they treat themselves bad because they believe they deserve to be punished OR 3. they believe they can't be happy as this would go against their inner child's story

    Like Alex, she is actually talking about associative transference of feelings from childhood to the present moment.
    Emotional flashbacks.
    The psych lives in the past.

    My fears started at the age of 3yrs when my mother went into hospital. So I had separation issues then at 5yrs old I went into hospital that was Aprox 1951 so hospitals then were very stark and no visitors so I then had abandonment issues and growing up my father would often threaten to leave and would walk out, so at that was always an underlying threat which was fulfilled. But I grew up terrified that I was going to be abandoned, I am alone now parents passed long ago. But I seem to be frozen in time at that stage in my life, and can’t move on. I’m hoping these videos will help. I have a long way to go though
