    So you can’t just make the inner child believe this over night. You’ve been conditioned for an entire life time. every day all the time you keep telling the inner child that they are lovable and that you love them. They will start to believe you. Keep the self talking. Everyday. Journal it. Thank you so much for these videos. I started using the stop it! It’s wild. The fight back. We are doing great though.

    The three steps:
    *1 - FIND IT* - The Golden Thread - why, why, why, why? - until the core, the emotional culprit.
    *2 - OWN IT* - “Stop it!” - Live _my authentic_ truth - do this _without_ fear or favour to myself and/or anyone else!
    *3 - CHANGE IT* - Reinforcement - keep doing it - keep the Inner Child at bay!
    *My new mantra from now on.* In the words of all West Midlanders, “That is truly bostin! I love it!” Thank you, David and Alex, for that wonderful enlightenment. I am _so_ watching to your videos at the moment. 😁

      Events happen which reconfirms the lie. For example, criticised, put down, rejected, let down, lied to, deceived. I am absolutely persuaded into the inner child’s world and belief. I can say STOP IT but the evidence is there when I’m rejected, let down etc. I have that limiting belief. Stuck at that bit. I’m at the Maze of Confusion.

    Thanks a lot for this video. What happens to me is that my inner child believes I'm unlovable. What I find quite difficult is not agreeing with it, since nobody finds me attractive. I'm in this vicious circle, in which I know I'm creating that emotion, but reality is actually re-enforcing it. I'm so tired of being alone...

    Thank you for your time and your wisdom. I really enjoy working onto my inner child, and those "wow" moments are priceless. I also have noticed a big difference in myself,the way I let others talk to me or treat me. But at the times I find myself trapped in my inner child's emotions, and start believing all over. Thanks! Now, I know what I am going to tell her 😂♥️🙌

    Oh my inner child, the emotions you create has no sound truebelief under it, u create emotions of fear, grief, sadness but there are lies on which you are generating these emotions, u r good, u r lovable, u can cope, there is nothing wrong with you, you should not manipulate ur emotions thinking any divine favour from above as the divine is also truth, honest and in integrity....u have to be fully connected to your shen, and have one belief of truth, honesty and integrity to get any divine favour

    • @WuWeiWisdom
      @WuWeiWisdom  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi,
      Thank you for sharing your profound thoughts. It's important to recognise the emotions generated by the inner child and to understand that they often stem from past experiences and misunderstandings. Embracing the truth and aligning with honesty and integrity can help you connect deeply with your Shen spirit. Remember, you are inherently good and lovable, capable of coping with life's challenges.

    it takes time to reprogram the mind when it has received negative messages for a long time. Yes it is a barefaced lie and we have to reaffirm that we are all good spiritual beings. I love the stop technique and questioning the inner child for new evidence. In my own personal struggle, I keep reaffirm that I am good enough, I am worthy, I am Lovable and by daily reaffirming these truths, I am able to silence the critical innerchild. This is the real power of reaffirming affirmations.🤗🙏

    Great explanation. This connects the couple of pieces of information I gathered from video's before. I understand the process now.
    Made me realize I saw the outcomes I had these past 10 years as evidence. Shockingly, the psychologist went with that line of thinking as well. She too took it as evidence.
    I'm going to work on step two and won't let me get side tracked again by emotions. (I think that's what usually happens for me.)

    Hi, David and Alex I have not listened to the entire video "Yet" but I am back now and I have a question? We have all been the inner child at one time and if we choose at that time to believe one of the three lies we are only doing so to protect ourselves and because we are a child and are not equipped to "rationalize" anything else. It is a matter of survival at that time. So, ,"yes" it is very difficult for us as adults to now go back and say OK those were lies but I lived my life that way I believed I had no other choice at the time. I'm glad you are able to talk people through this and I'm sure many of your clients "get it and will make the change". Blessings to you. Now that I've listened to the end (actually it was my IC who had me post earlier) lol, I realize that the interchange between you explaining about limiting beliefs boils down to "consistency to re-learn what my beliefs are now". Actually, for me it is a "grieving process in a way because the inner child believed her emotional response to what was happening and now I am presented with a decision to continue believing one of the three lies or "turn up the volume on my Shen". Thank You, again ,for a great video.

    • @mirelladlima5278
      @mirelladlima5278 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Joyce Dunlap - yes that's absolutely true. I too need to turn up the volume of my Shen and be consistent with it. Gradually the innerchild will have to accept your truth. We are all good spiritual beings. You are good enough. You are worthy. You are lovable and be consistent with these truths.🤗🙏

  • @mirelladlima5278
    @mirelladlima5278 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I haven’t done all the golden thread videos and have just started talking to my sweet inner child but right now I’m experiencing overwhelming anxiety and believe I’m unworthy, unloveable. My inner child has told me our parents never wanted us. This is true as I once asked my father if he “wanted” me as a baby and he said no, they both did not. All my life I’ve sabotaged every friendship, every job, etc. now I’m 72 and alone, depressed, lonely, anxious, all red light feelings and beliefs. I do have a therapist and on medication and I’m not suicidal. Do I slowly watch all golden thread videos and simply continue talking to my sweet inner child? TY David

    I feel like I can prove that I’m not good enough. I was always last choice for my parents, friends, boyfriends, even my kids now. I had multiple affairs while married to a great man, which makes me feel like a very flawed and unworthy human. I hope you may be able to answer this. How do addictions like drinking or gambling fit in to this picture? I make myself feel “not good enough” by triggering with a drink or two and then playing slot machines to fill the void of my loneliness. Saying “stop it” is not always possible.

    What core belief makes you think friends and family are not suppose to be jealous and envious of one another, that they are not suppose to talk about you and put you down, they are always suppose to love, care, and protect each other?

    it seems almost impossible that, by just asking our inner child, 'do you have any evidence to prove that you are not enough? ' (again & again)
    ... we can change our belief that we are not good enough ..if you know what I mean 🤔

    • @nidhi9196
      @nidhi9196 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also, what if the belief is not mine and has been passed on generationally?

  •  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Thank you :) I like the clarity it brings, to look at each core belief as either a truth, that is backed by evidence, or an untruth, that isn't. I also wonder if this perspective along with saying stop and refusing to give credence to these thoughts, is a more or a less effective way of changing these beliefs, as compared with my current preference. Which is to focus on the feelings accompanying these thoughts, and get a clear sense of how unbearable they must have been in childhood, and feel compassion for the child we were, who felt such intense overwhelm, panic, pain, and distress, through no fault of their own, only the situation they happened to be born into. I'd be interested in discussing this, with the purpose being, to more effectively help people who are suffering from this kind of history.
    Additionally, is there maybe a contradiction in how towards the end, you talk about a non-physical part of us? What is the evidence for it? Again, what I'm looking for here is more clarity, in order to more effectively support anyone suffering from whatever brought about these core beliefs. I wish you all the best!

    Great video, I personally seem to be stuck in the middle. I want to believe I am good enough but feel I need to really work on how to let go. It seems so hard to let go. I know it stems from my childhood and why I have it to the core, it's just hard to break the chains and truly feel it without getting lost in the maze of confusion....any techniques we can use like writing stuff down or is it just self talk?? ....

    • @rinaward3195
      @rinaward3195 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I have found "self talk' helps our Inner child stay stuck. As we may repeat their story. Once I observe I start to repeat a story, I can choose whether to follow my IC or not. Stillness, reflection can be helpful in this process.

    Okay, well, here's a first for you then... the evidence that I'm not good enough: I was rejected by my mother, who blamed me for her dropping out of college; I was rejected by my father, reason unknown since my younger sister and brothers were all good enough despite not being nearly as good or as smart as me; and I was rejected by my classmates starting in 3rd grade, I presume because I was so much smarter than them. I have experienced rejection by every female I've ever wanted, and I'm 56 now. The only relationship I've had was with a woman I wasn't really interested in. I'm not good enough for bosses or interviewers because I never get hired, and if you think "never" is an exaggeration, it's been 30 years now since I was last hired through the interview process (edit: it was 1992). So there you go, evidence.
    I want to fix this, so I'll keep watching.
    Edit: It's a little convenient to say that's not evidence. The question becomes, good enough for whom? And if the answer is, I'm not good enough for my parents, then their rejection of me is the evidence that I am not good enough for them. Rationalizing that they have the same hang-up, that they never felt good enough, doesn't really solve the problem.
    And then there's the issue that I'm not good enough for *me.* I wanted to be good at sports, and rich, and popular, and handsome, and good at music. But I am none of those things. I am smart, but I never wanted to be smart, I didn't ask to be smart, and it has made me deeply unpopular. How do I love myself when I am none of the things I wanted to be? When I have none of the characteristics of someone I might admire?
    You say it's a lie, but you haven't given me any reason to believe it's a lie, and certainly nothing that has happened in my life has given me any reason to believe it's a lie.

      I’m in the same boat as you. Blamed by my mom for the rape and sexual molestation…I somehow “enticed” by stepfather. she always compared me to my “smart friends”bullied when I was elementary & middle school and in 2 long term physically & verbally abusive relationships. I’m 53 and still have issues. Very hard to convince my inner child otherwise

    • @anonygent
      @anonygent 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sandravazquez3558 Not sure this will help or hurt, but you were "good enough" for your stepfather. More desirable than your own mother, even, which must have stung her to the quick. She couldn't blame herself so she blamed you.
      Anna Akana talked about knowing your worth, and talked about a $20 bill. If someone wrote all over a $20 bill, crumpled it up, and threw it in the trash, would it be worth any less than $20 for how it was treated? That's the attitude you have to take towards yourself, that how you were treated does not affect your inherent worth.
