I stumbled upon your channel a couple of months ago and have been listening to your videos repeatedly and while sleeping. I have noticed a marked change in my anxiety, fear, and sense of helplessness. I truly feel like this has changed my life profoundly in a very short amount of time but I do have a long way to go. I've been working on myself for my entire adult life and nothing has worked like this. Thank you so much for making these videos. You are literally changing and saving lives and helping people release themselves from their own mental prisons.

These teachings are so profound. As a person who suffered childhood trauma, I didn't realize the depth of my trauma. I just always had this strong sense of not being enough. So certain was I, I thought no one could ever love me, I kept telling myself I was stupid, and knew I wouldn't amount to much. All things that you've described. I've been watching these videos religiously. Thank you for sharing your knowledge on this. I have started doing affirmations to know my worth and capacity. Knowing and reminding myself that I am enough. Applying myself in my career goals. And managing my emotions. Thank you

These two have helped me realize how hurt my inner child is and how this leads to my behaviors. I wish you the best and thank you for sharing 🙏

My inner child causes me to wake up terrified and abandoned. I live alone it this this inner child fear stops me from functioning, I shake bad tremble, I’ve had all sorts of therapy, but I can’t control how I wake up, but I’m too terrified to get on with life, I was brought up to believe life was terrifying, I got so lost as a 3yrs old that I don’t know who I am . I never felt safe or noticed as a child, I felt like screaming out to be noticed and validated, all I want is to wake up calm and feel safe, I never felt like it as a child and I don’t know how to stop this inner fear, I’ve never had a roll model

You must realize the truth. The fear is just in your head. You are alone because you choose to be. If you were to search, youd find someone. The feeling is controlling because its conditioned and called learned helplessness.

@@mwil619 hi that’s exactly what it’s like, controlled helplessness, that’s how I felt when my father would walk out on us,I would run after him begging him to come, my mother would treat me like her parent , that if I was poorly then who would take care of mummy (not that she was even poorly) so the term learned helplessness is exactly how I was conditioned to feel at such an early age, that remark has had a huge impact, thank you, it makes so much sense as an adult that naturally I would feel helpless how could I possibly be expected to cope with that amount of so called responsibility at 3 years old . Wow thank you so so much in helping me reframe the situation, from here on in I think I’m on the right track with the inner child healing 👍👌💕

ALL of your many many teachings that I have listened to so far are so very very clear and so totally totally helpful. I am deeply thankful that I found the Wu Wei Wisdom channel and both of you. I am 66 years old and have been trying with all of my might to DEAL-MANAGE-CHANGE-SUPRESS my emotions since I was in my late teens when I started to be frequently overwhelmed with anxiety (with my first recollection of this frightening emotional occurrence happening at the tender age of 7 and then again at the age of 8). Even during the years of my life when my anxiety wasn't at its peak, I always had the sense that deep down "I don't feel right". I did not know how to walk this pervasive sense of mine deeper down into my childhood belief (gained through ongoing trauma and stress in my dysfunctional childhood home) that "I am not right" until now. To say that the Wu Wei teachings are a game changer undersells them. For me, they are a LIFE CHANGER. Gratitude!

I know not of a channel with better content than this one. My grandest wish is that all who could benefit would invest the time to watch a video through to the end. Just one. If you find no value…move on. If you find value…subscribe, get a journal and start healing🙏🏾.

Hi. Was wondering if the inner child is involved in emotiins such as shame where does the inner critic come into it? Are the inner critic(our caregivers voice) and the inner child seperate?

I'm wondering why do I push having a relationship. When it seems like I can't have it I get obsessed with the person and when it's clear I can then I rationalise why I shouldn't and when it's unclear it's some weird mix of both. Why is that and what can I do about it?

Perhaps your inner child seeks validation from a relationship and once you are able to get the relationship it feels not good enough to keep or have it. 🤷‍♀️

So does touching that inner child epicenter of trauma mean that your touching all the traumas of your life regardless of the order?
Like, if I connect to the shame from a trauma that happened in adulthood, does that mean I'm also touching the shame and trauma that lives within me from childhood as well?
