We got nba players, actors, celebrities, politics, billionaires(elon), football players, a lot of big streamers that don't even usually play video games(kai), people from diverse origin and country all embodied by the flame of ambition to become ELDEN LORD. Elden ring is already in the hall of fame of video games
There's something especially artistic about Elden Ring, beyond any other game I've ever played, besides maybe Scorn, the meaning, the aesthetic, the vibe, the everything. I don't know how to explain it.
It infuriates me when From Soft refuses to support ultrawide resolutions, fov sliders and photo mode natively as the world is simply stunning. Once you learn as much of the lore as most of us try to, it adds so much more to its beauty and horror. Thankfully flawless widescreen works super well, and there are other ways. Regardless, I appreciate this video, you captures ER's awe and majesty!
I don't know man it can't hurt to have support but I would honestly accommodate fromsofts every decision if they can just keep hitting peak. What I'm saying is I'd be ok with 4:3 if it saves them time and the headache of running into compatibility issues due to unlocking the framerate and aspect ratio etc. And the community eventually does it pretty quickly as well. But that's me honestly.
I beat the dlc a few days ago, all I can think about is how much this game means to me and how no matter how many times I replay it I'll never get to play the most beautiful and striking game of all time for the first time again. I will never be impacted by a piece of fiction in the way this game did.

as much as this looks awesome by today's standards, can you imagine how games will be like in the next 20 years? we may actually have immersive rpg style games where our sensory sources become the controllers. optimistic, yes: just something to be excited about.
