Hornady used to have a line of varmint bullets called super explosive that would lose their jacket if spun or driven too fast due to the thin jacket

Years ago, I loaded a few 50gr Hornady SX bullets into to my 22-250. They never made it to the 100 yd target. A couple of them I could see just a puff of smoke down range. I guess thats why the box said NOT TO EXCEED 3200 FPS.

Great job multi tasking. I like having caliber options sometimes a 40 gr bullet at 4500 fps feels right, other times I want a 600 grain bullet at 2050 fps.

Each round has an optimal bullet weight range.My opinion is in rifles big and slow is good for shorter range while really fast is better for long range so there is less worry about drop and wind drift.

The shirt I’m wearing in this was bought off of Amazon if I remember correctly. They are like 98% polyester so they don’t stick to you when you sweat in the gym, that’s about all I work out in.
