@Tobyy eh well that's a bit of a misleading oversimplification. There's a wide range of normal values with testosterone and even being low during a test doesn't mean u have low testosterone in general. Unless you feel symptoms like depression, lack of focus, irritiability, excessive emotionality etc. you probably don't have low testosterone. those guys are probably endocrinologically normal.
When I first tried this challenge I couldn’t even do a push up so I started on my knees and now almost a year later I’m doing 100 with my hands on weights
They could've hurt themselves from improper form. Proper form is designed to maximize the effectiveness and minimize the risk. It's not about being funny or rude just for the sake of it, it's about safety
I've been doing more than 100 push ups everyday (began doing 20 and I was tired after that) but after a month and some days, I've seen significant changes, regardless the fact that I was really skinny. Keep it going people, it's worth it the feeling of looking and feeling better.
This is so inspiring. I am skinny too but every time I see motivational video like this, there are always comments that say it’s fake it’s impossible or anything that brings me down. Would you please share me some more if you’ve seen more changes to you? Thanks
@@OshinTorek I hope this will help you. If you're skinny and want to add some mass, push ups will be productive only if you can do just 6-10 push ups. Higher number will get you strength and maybe some definition but nothing more.
*_Nice, at _**_10:16_**_, you can actually see that after 100 push-ups a day for 30 days gave them a better lighting, better contrast, and a slight zoom in the picture. MUST TRY!!!_*
you also have to factor in the lighting. On the left photo it is overexposed & show barely any shadows. On the right side picture the guys are in dimmer light which casts shadows on all the small definitions of their bodies. It makes a huge difference.

They use him as the model for that drawing where you could see every single shred of muscle in the human body...you know, the one you see at your doctors office.
I’m a photographer and I clearly see less light and more shadow in the after photos. Slight shadows create outlines so it looks more defined. I want to give these guys maximum credit but you can’t see a clear difference unless the lighting and skin tone are exactly the same in both photis
Before you do this watch a quick video on push-up form. Straight back and keep the elbows tucked. Keeping your elbows wide puts stress on your rotator cuff in your shoulder.
The persons pushup form was absolutely terrible and not working anything. There are things like hindu pushups that are variations but you don't have your back bent like that- you actually have it bent the other way to make them harder.
Somewhat closer grip pushups are best, narrow base push-ups led to higher EMG values in the triceps brachii and pectoralis major than wide base push-ups in studies. Also lot less chance of injury/strain on rotator cuff. Just do not go to narrow as the more strain on elbows. If you want to actually do pushups for muscle building use bands- test have showed similar results from a group doing bench press with barbell and a group doing pushups with resisted bands. Also decline pushups show to hit more fibers in emg imaging than regular or incline (also same for decline benching btw)
That's what I was thinking, they should see what happens if they do proper gym workouts with a good diet for a month. Push ups only work one muscle group lol
The white guy's push-up form improved _dramatically._ I think that's a contributing factor to why his body transformation was significantly more visible in the after photos.

Almost good, not great. Lower back muscles are supposed to keep proper form, you just have to know how to engage them. I'd say proper form is more important than the amount of push ups one can do.
Guys, the end result is a trick of the light, it did improve, but barely. they turned down the lights to create more shadow to make it look bigger. but still no excuse to not try it tho.
You legend! This comment on top so everybody can see it, and skip the bs. @Martin Vrickey, yeah, I know about such websites from my friends. Actually, one of them, recently repaid her college loans in full, working thru Max121.com or something. Not quite sure, but I think it's the one she uses.
lmao then theres me who started doing push ups 3 days ago and could only do 1 but now i can do 5 and i felt so great about myself but after this video im like lol bye.
Watching videos like this gives me lots of nostalgia, because I remember when I first started working out just like them and doing even 20 push ups in a row was a challenge
A lot of people they are, well, not idiots, but ignorants and believers, just look at the like/dislike ratio, I didn't expected that much blind people.
@OnlyBigBoned You are right, I started the same challenge, and after one week I took a step back and researched about the correct pushups. The result, my reps went down by 50% and realized how difficult pushups are but it totally worth it and I feel the difference.
Dont worry about the lighting and image. Just do 100 push ups, like 4 sets of 25 reps. Instead of everyday, do it every other day. Stay consistent and you’ll either add more reps, or sets. You’ll sleep better and feel better. That’s all that’s important.
they did get bigger it's just that the body adapts and the changes can't be that drastic when i did the 1k pushups challenge my body did change but it wasn't very noticeable over all i lost like 3 kg's over 3 months my endurance was great but in terms of muscle development or losing weight nothing much changed except that i felt stiff as a board for the next week after i did the 1k and i hurt one of my shoulders from overuse these are endurance tests that anyone can do muscle development takes a lot more than pushing your body off the ground
Keep trying. With diet and effort you'll get it. When I went to basic training I could only do 15 in 60 seconds because I had lost 50 lbs in 4 months waiting to leave :/
Probably just doing 'em wrong tbf. Where you position your hands and how you move your arms makes a huge difference. Check out some video tutorials on TH-cam that shows proper form and see if you can do some more. I guarantee that practically anyone who isn't grossly unfit or physically disabled should be able to do at least 3 with proper form.
For people like me I started out with knee push ups doing 10 sets of 10 in a 2 hour time fraim and 3 rest days and it took only 2 weeks and now I can do 25 push ups in one set regular off my knees. I hope this inspire anyone
White guy did a bit more than just push ups, there is no way he made that much gains in 30 days just doing 100 push ups a day. Plus in some of the shots he was in the gym and who goes to the gym just to do push ups?
The picture is a little misleading. He's closer to the camera, or the picture is more zoomed in. He is a little bigger in it overall, his head, ears, etc, things that wouldn't have changed size.
Thats the thing, they never get any tangible results in their videos so they must edit their results to make them interesting. All they do is waste time...
This goes without saying, you have to be in the same exact place on the floor with the cameras in the same place, same exact lighting, etc. Of course there are results, muscles experience hypertrophy, just be honest about it
Chris Atienza no to mention half the time their arm and hand placement is all over the place. Keeps elbos close to the body or in at your ribs and move your hands at a 15 to 25 degree angle inwards to lock in your chest. Then focus on squeezing your chest when you get to the top of your rep. It's not rocket science lol
You cannot start doing perfect form push ups with elbows tucked in if you're weak. A year ago I couldn't do a proper push-up. It's a feeling of just not being strong enough to pull one off. Irving Lopez is right. We all start somewhere. You cannot just go straight into spiderman push-ups if you cannot even do 20 normal push-ups. In this case they cannot do a perfect form push-up when they cannot even do 20 decent push-ups. By decent I mean elbows going outwards but shill getting getting close to the ground. I mean if they cannot do that they won't even be able to do a single perfect push-up. Even if they could. What then? Manage to do 100 sets a day?
Daenz 0814 lol, my sister calls me fat cause I call her fat cause she's actually fat but calls me fat even though I'm fit just to get back at me, makes sense? 🤣
OK so to anyone that plans on doing this to improve their strength/ muscle: in order to become stronger you need pressure exerted on your muscles, but also recovery for your muscles. If you do this challenge every day, you will be putting your muscles through alot which is good. But if you do it every day then your muscles will be very sore and tired as you won't have enough recovery time, hence you won't become as strong as you could be given sufficient rest. Recovery is equally important as burn guys
Adi Raj I wanna start doing some light training, I bought a weight and was planning on doing something like 100 sit ups, push ups, and curls a day. Would you recommend rest each day in between work outs? Or could I do back to back days occasionally? I have no idea what I’m doing as I’ve never really worked out before other than activities like martial arts or stuff from back in school lol.
Rest? Isn't it that you can workout every day or a select muscle group every day but you just have to ensure to get 9+ hours of rest every night? Idk that's what Henry Cavill did for Superman
You can work out every day but different muscle groups, for example if do chest/triceps one day, select another muscle group the next day like legs, shoulders, back or whatever and let your chest/triceps rest for one day, working the same muscle group(s) on consecutive days is not as effective as switching every day and let the targeted muscles rest for one day if you really want to work out every day
You probably needed more protein and you also need REST/Alternate days. If you keep working the muscle daily and not giving it time to heal and rebuild, you'll notice less of an impact on muscle growth. That is why you should alternate. Recovery period is just as important as the push up itself (plus amount, form, rest period duration between sets)
@Gray Fullbuster : it increased your height because you stand staller, thanks to your now stronger back muscles. Like Nicholas Kennon says, it's better to rest every other day. I also recommend you to watch "Proper Push Up Technique" from expertboxing, it shows an other way to do push ups: emphasis on speed vs amount, which is better for strength vs endurance.
WHEN I WENT TO PRISON I COULDNT DO 20 WHEN I LEFT I WAS ABLE TODO 200 HUNDRED PUSH UPS A DAY 2YEARS LATER I CAN BARELY DO 60...THINK I NEED TO STOP WATCHING THE VIDEO & GET BACK ON GAME..
I'm most impressed by the posture change in the pictures of Amir. That is going to be so good for his back. I need to start doing push ups. I've been avoiding starting.
If you think by doing 100 push-ups a day for 30 days is gonna help you becoming more muscular you are very wrong. Remember, it is quality over quantity. In stead of doing 100 meaningless push-ups where you are not hitting the specific muscle group. Do in stead 20 push-ups that actually engages the muscle group, huge difference. Any one that is actually exercising knows that it is not about how many reps you can do but how you are doing them.
How to look more defined: Step 1) Take a picture Step 2) Take another picture with more dramatic lighting to emphasize whatever dips you have in your figure
Instead of being a cynic and champion of disbelief; take a picture in your bathroom, do 100 push-ups a day for 30 days, then take another picture. Only then will you know the truth. Or, get your fingers swole typing comments that only serve to prove you can't do it.

Best comment i have read today
It's ridiculous how they change background color and lighting in the before and after shots. We are not idiots you know.
A lot of people they are, well, not idiots, but ignorants and believers, just look at the like/dislike ratio, I didn't expected that much blind people.
Robert CR also we are the generation that ate soap for fun so there wasn’t much intelligence there to begin with.
I definitely noticed the lighting change. Think they increased the contrast. But despite that, there was still a slight noticeable gain.
Light, background and close up photos
Hypnotized81 yea so in the darker ones u see more details

The Indian Man after 100 push up for 30 days his eye glasses is gone
Kevin Rhenaldy yeah if he did that on purpose then it kinda offends me because that shows that people think glasses=you’re an automatic nerd
dont be racist dude
Excersise makes your eyesight better. also why do you call them eye glasses? what other glasses would you be wearing on your eyes?
Kevin Rhenaldy I did 100 a day challenge and now I speak Indian. Does wonders.
Kevin Rhenaldy lol
Amir has anterior pelvic tilt and the other guy has bad neck posture. ALso like someone else mentioned, why change the lighting on the pictures...
other guy also has a left lateral trunk lean thats pretty noticeable
I'm guessing they subtly adjusting the lighting in the after photos to make the changes more pronounced.
Sorry but you lost me at has
Anterior pelvic tilt really isn’t an issue.
@@MLDRBRY it messes with your digestive tract and abdominal muscles become weaker
Dude with glasses did 17 true push ups first time. That’s impressive
They should've looked up how to do proper push-ups before doing this :,D
Simon Skånell lmao fr tf did I just watch
@OnlyBigBoned You are right, I started the same challenge, and after one week I took a step back and researched about the correct pushups. The result, my reps went down by 50% and realized how difficult pushups are but it totally worth it and I feel the difference.
I was about to comment this
Their chests are about a foot away from the ground
it wasn’t a tutorial
Dont worry about the lighting and image. Just do 100 push ups, like 4 sets of 25 reps. Instead of everyday, do it every other day. Stay consistent and you’ll either add more reps, or sets.
You’ll sleep better and feel better. That’s all that’s important.
This 100%
No. 100 push ups isn’t enough.
Do 200 push ups one day and do 200 situps the next day and keep it going like that
He's saying start at 100. You'll add more as your muscles develop.
Soul Assassin thanks bro this is my day2 and you is very motivation ;)(sorry for my english)

lesboctopus so true
Same except I’m 13
100 a day is not something I would recommend. I would say 200 every other day would make a much better difference
they did get bigger
it's just that the body adapts and the changes can't be that drastic
when i did the 1k pushups challenge my body did change but it wasn't very noticeable
over all i lost like 3 kg's over 3 months
my endurance was great but in terms of muscle development or losing weight
nothing much changed
except that i felt stiff as a board for the next week after i did the 1k and i hurt one of my shoulders from overuse
these are endurance tests that anyone can do muscle development takes a lot more than pushing your body off the ground
Me:watches fitness videos."Im going to do this"
Also me: THIS ICE CREAM IS GOING TO WASTE I BETTER EAT IT
*LIES*
Aubrey Crigler 😂
Aubrey Crigler so true!
this wasnt the "dont eat junk food challenge".... You can eat ice cream and still do 100 pushups in a day

One Punch man challenge xD
No thank you
One of these will be much more strenuous than the others.
Until your hair falls out
That's really fuckin hard for an average person.
When you can barely do 1 push up.. The struggle is real
Asuna Hiroku that is nnnnnno bueno
Keep trying. With diet and effort you'll get it. When I went to basic training I could only do 15 in 60 seconds because I had lost 50 lbs in 4 months waiting to leave :/
That was me... but i kept trying and i got 1 push at a time and in no time it was 5 the 10 then 15 then 20 and now it's 30 at a time
if you cant push your own weight atleast 10 times you've got a problem lmao
Probably just doing 'em wrong tbf. Where you position your hands and how you move your arms makes a huge difference. Check out some video tutorials on TH-cam that shows proper form and see if you can do some more. I guarantee that practically anyone who isn't grossly unfit or physically disabled should be able to do at least 3 with proper form.
This video literally just pressures me even more to crawl out of my bed and do something. Smh why should I have to deal with this sort of stress
lol.
Sir fap alot what's with your profile pic lololololol

why not turn that stress and pressure into motivation
For people like me I started out with knee push ups doing 10 sets of 10 in a 2 hour time fraim and 3 rest days and it took only 2 weeks and now I can do 25 push ups in one set regular off my knees. I hope this inspire anyone

White guy did a bit more than just push ups, there is no way he made that much gains in 30 days just doing 100 push ups a day. Plus in some of the shots he was in the gym and who goes to the gym just to do push ups?
fs87 not you apparently
Maybe gym is part of his normal routine and not doinh everthing notmally lifestyle wise would have skewed the result?
The picture is a little misleading. He's closer to the camera, or the picture is more zoomed in. He is a little bigger in it overall, his head, ears, etc, things that wouldn't have changed size.
racist
alex adnan how is he racist?
:i see the definition of biceps

100 dabs a day, keeps the doctor away
What if the Doctor dabs back?
JoeyGaming wow, what a question....
1 dab a day keeps the ladies away
skrt skrt homie 😂
speedsterone 100 dabs lol. U be like one DS two dab three dab a who knight :v
Probably are results but maybe next time keep the same lighting and background.
Also keep the same camera distance
Thats the thing, they never get any tangible results in their videos so they must edit their results to make them interesting. All they do is waste time...
This goes without saying, you have to be in the same exact place on the floor with the cameras in the same place, same exact lighting, etc. Of course there are results, muscles experience hypertrophy, just be honest about it
How is enhancing the results without making it clear to the viewer honest?! I think you did a typo there kiddo!
White guy definitely got bigger delts. (But has spinal issues? He's leaning in both shots.)
Quality over quantity. Perfect form is still more important. Do them nice and slow and dont flare your elbows out. You'll feel the burn in no time.
Chris Atienza ikr, these people push up a little bit too fast for me :D
Chris Atienza no to mention half the time their arm and hand placement is all over the place. Keeps elbos close to the body or in at your ribs and move your hands at a 15 to 25 degree angle inwards to lock in your chest. Then focus on squeezing your chest when you get to the top of your rep. It's not rocket science lol
We all start somewhere
Chris Atienza that is so true
Imagine if they kept doing this for the 3 years to come, imagine how dang buff they'll be.
"You're just like a techy nerd. I can't imagine you being buff!" Every dude with a sister can probably relate to this😂
Yes . I'm actually pretty muscular build
Daenz 0814 lol, my sister calls me fat cause I call her fat cause she's actually fat but calls me fat even though I'm fit just to get back at me, makes sense? 🤣
@@JosephDeLosSantos-t3m I stuttered while reading that in my head.
Joeislayf use some of these” , , , , “ next time
NumbSZN That's the point of my comment, bruh
Idk that's what Henry Cavill did for Superman
alfred wilsbury I’ve always heard the standard is workout 3-4 days a week and rest 3-4 days a week, or rotate work outs every other day.
You can work out every day but different muscle groups, for example if do chest/triceps one day, select another muscle group the next day like legs, shoulders, back or whatever and let your chest/triceps rest for one day, working the same muscle group(s) on consecutive days is not as effective as switching every day and let the targeted muscles rest for one day if you really want to work out every day
I do every day except Friday. It works well enough
that lighting tricks..
yeah push ups gives you a nice tan
Asbjørn Olsen lmao what a xcam
Yep. Every muscle picture has dark background because of the lighting. Pretty sad.

They should put they arms in the middlr near they're nipples
Mark Abella there are different push up forms
Mark Abella that for the arm if u put ur hands about under ur nipples
Welp 100 push ups here I come
Joe Wright tell us if there's really so much increase ;)
I've done 150 a day for 2 months but it didn't do much except increase my height a little and my muscles by barely an inch... :c _depressed_
You probably needed more protein and you also need REST/Alternate
days. If you keep working the muscle daily and not giving it time to heal and rebuild, you'll notice less of an impact on muscle growth. That is why you should alternate. Recovery period is just as important as the push up itself (plus amount, form, rest period duration between sets)
@Gray Fullbuster
: it increased your height because you stand staller, thanks to your now stronger back muscles.
Like Nicholas Kennon says, it's better to rest every other day.
I also recommend you to watch "Proper Push Up Technique" from expertboxing, it shows an other way to do push ups: emphasis on speed vs amount, which is better for strength vs endurance.
Currently doing 21 every hour for 2 months(as long as I'm awake)
WHEN I WENT TO PRISON I COULDNT DO 20 WHEN I LEFT I WAS ABLE TODO 200 HUNDRED PUSH UPS A DAY 2YEARS LATER I CAN BARELY DO 60...THINK I NEED TO STOP WATCHING THE VIDEO & GET BACK ON GAME..

STRAIGHT SAVAGE good for you bro
STRAIGHT SAVAGE just go back
I'm most impressed by the posture change in the pictures of Amir.
Am I the only one who thinks that the pictures are edited?
I rather work on stamina , need more reps for sex
or just lift

How to look more defined:
Step 1) Take a picture
Step 2) Take another picture with more dramatic lighting to emphasize whatever dips you have in your figure
Step 3) use photoshop to buff it even more up
Instead of being a cynic and champion of disbelief; take a picture in your bathroom, do 100 push-ups a day for 30 days, then take another picture. Only then will you know the truth. Or, get your fingers swole typing comments that only serve to prove you can't do it.
"To emphasize whatever dips you have in your figure"
Even belly rolls?
xzysyndrome but hes right you know....
I'mma do it. I can't do more than 15 at a time so far, but all that means is I need to do multiple reps.
