    You are a hero. This is the first piece of content I have found that confirms it will work with the FX6. DJI does not have it as on the compatible camera list. which made me worry that they may have worked out a deal with Sony that blocks it and forces you to by the more expensive Sony first party MI shoe Mics for the FX6 but I am glad that is not the case!

    ive been loving the dji mic 2 and osmo pocket 3 combo. They really did their thing with these mics and its usability is getting pushed even further with this adapter!

    Hello for some reasons it's not working with my FX6 even after updating the camera and the dji hardware i get the message This MI shoe acc is not supported by the device and cannot be used. please verify compatibility :(

      Hey man! Yeah some people have said this, i’m not sure why that’d be happening if i’m honest. DJI don’t actually have the FX6 on the comparability list as it’s not consistent but it seems to work for some people and not for others but I’m unsure as to why

    Nice!! Do you know if this works with DJI mic 1 please dude??

    The DJI signal sends a stereo output. But FX6 is taking in multiple Mono signals. Checking in post is the audio really spilt, or a mixdown Mono in Ch3/4?

    • @JusttJC
      @JusttJC  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I can confirm from checking in post that each microphone is split across the 2 different channels, Mic 1 on channel 3 & Mic 2 on channel 4!👌🏾

    How do I monitor them on my FX6??? I can’t seem to figure that out

      did you change the input channels to the shoe channels?

    This a a nice compact device from DJI, but Sony has some as well for their UWP receivers with Smad adapter too! its not as neat as tht DJI and it costs more.

    Got this message from dji support did you notice anything unstable?
    « Upon consulting with our senior engineer, we regret to tell that during our test Sony FX6 audio recording is not perfectly stable when using DJI Mic 2 Camera Adapter, so it is not listed on the compatibility list. For the time being, kindly use the 3.5mm. »

      @JusttJC  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Interesting, I currently haven’t done enough testing with it to have that issue but i’ll definitely look out for it, as a precaution I still always record internally on the mics so I’m safe either way! Thanks for flagging that though!

    Have you treid them on a room full of people and about 30 metters from the Transmitter? Does the audio drops like crazy like the old dji mic??

    • @JusttJC
      @JusttJC  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I’ve tried it in a big park at an event and they were fine but I know always make sure i’m filming internally as a safety net also!

      @@JusttJC Hi thanks for the reply, yeah on a park they would perform ok, but indoors with a bunch of people and cellphones around, they will start dropping like crazy, at least the V1, not the case with the Rode go 2, but i do like the dji design more and Id like to use them with this new adapter, but yeah I can have them dropping as I use them for live streams.

    Well, saving a 10cm cable does not seem to me a game changing, but OK.

      It’s pretty game changing when there isn’t anywhere on the camera to natively plug in said, 10cm cable, but OK.
