If you jam sync the Sony and the Tascam with the Deity, you wont need the time code generators attached to the camera. Both Sony and the Tascam generate time code. I would recommend resyncing every 1 to 2 hours to prevent drift.

Hey nice rig! I’ll definitely try to improve mine with the new tascam. Talking about the timecode boxes problem, if I’m correct, I think you can generate timecode from the tascam and plug straight to the camera TC in. That will be the solution of having two tc generators on camera. Tell me if that’s helps!!

I got a onn 500gb due to i had a 32 gb flash that broke riding my ebike inside of my bluetooth speaker i rather use a flash driver to save the battery on my phone... But im wondering can i put music on the onn 500ssd and be able to play the music from it????

Get a Rycote Invision microphone mount and mount it to the side of your top handle (sideways) with a cold shoe. I found the Smallrig mount very wobbly and noisy. The Rycote is very stable and dead silent

The cameras are also sold without the top handle, it's a different SKU that is a fair bit cheaper, the handle is a few hundred.

I have this setup working for me but I have one problem. The adapter seem te be stuck in the hot shoe. Does anybody have the same problem? I can't get it out or am I to afraid and can I use more force?

Dont use any mist or diffusion filters on darker skin tones. They are designed to shape light and that never bodes well with darker skin tones. Diffuse the light source, not the lens when it comes to darker skin tones.
