His From the Cradle album and tours were some of, if not the best blues playing and vocals, ever laid down. His playing at the Dylan 30th concert at MSG brought the house down, with a 2 minute standing ovation. Steve Kropper and GE Smith looked at him in awe. On a night of superstar musicians, no one could touch him. His playing at his early to mid 2000s Crossroads concerts were on a level few could ever touch. That old Boring crap, iss a joke.

Clapton is good (not god). But to be very honest, this song he would have done better if tried to copy Gary instead of messing it up like that. This is the worse professional tribute to this masterpiece of the blues, and the fact that someone like Clapton did it make it worse.
Still Got The Blues, and this performance in particular became very close to my heart when I was living the lyrics a few years ago.
