@@charlesjohnson9249 Well, doing the Beatles, and then the rest of the '60s & '70s stuff. Then after he family, I became a soundtrack fan. You know, most of GM;s slow stuff could easily be ''turned'' into this type of music. After all, the slow beat/pace is equivalent to that of many film scores, like Mark Knoupfler's theme to Local Hero, and he's a great guitarist too, as is David Gilmore, Brian May, Hank Marvin and Justin Hayward etc. This brings me to all the best film composers of our time, i.e., John Barry, James Newton Howard, John Williams, and of course my favorite,

Lyrics
Used to be so easy to give my heart away
But I found out the hard way
There's a price you have to pay
I found out that love was no friend of mine
I should have known time after time
So long, it was so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
Used to be so easy to fall in love again
But I found out the hard way
It's a road that leads to pain
I found that love was more than just a game
You're playin' to win, but you lose just the same
So long, it was so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
So many years since I've seen your face
Here in my heart, there's an empty space
Where you used to be
So long, it was so long ago
But I've still got the blues for you
Though the days come and go
There is one thing I know
I've still got the blues for you

Dan Patlansky is worth a listen man
I don’t get the hype around Clapton tbh 😅
I started to listen to Gary Moore around 2 yrs ago, this is the first song I heard from him. Man I really am blessed to have heard this song, it is just so emotional and brilliant. What a pleasure to the ear and what a legend that wrote this song, no one can do these like him, he is the one and only, Gary Moore. RIP
I started listening to Gary Moore just today and this is the first song I have heard from him too. Its a beautiful song, he was excellent!
We sure were blessed
Me too...sadly missed
Have you heard of 'Paul Hurley Guitar' well worth watching him on youtube! Unknown but worth the time I'd say!
Мьюзик из ист на грани даст ист фантастикс!!!Как владеет инструментом,звуком и сознанием слышащих!Ну это конечно для тех ,до кого доходит!❤
One of the best blues song ever!!! He was also one of the best guitarists ever and I am sad that the good ones always die young! He made that guitar sing, cry and weep all at the same time! RIP Gary!
I'm 74 and just heard this guy today for the first time. Absolutely Fabulous, and a great voice. But what a guitarist. Must be the best. My next purchase is going to be everything he's done!.....What a shame he's not with us anymore. I'll be buying any video of his too. Damn, where have I been all his life!.......................
Thin lizzy
@@jaystiger3735 Hi Jay, oh! he was with Thin Lizzy, wow! Thanks, and waiting for my order of cd's covering what he's done! Cheers. Brian.
I just found him a couple of months ago and I'm 74 too.I absolutely love him!!!
Well, better late than never, but WTF have you been doing the last 74 years???
@@charlesjohnson9249 Well, doing the Beatles, and then the rest of the '60s & '70s stuff. Then after he family, I became a soundtrack fan. You know, most of GM;s slow stuff could easily be ''turned'' into this type of music. After all, the slow beat/pace is equivalent to that of many film scores, like Mark Knoupfler's theme to Local Hero, and he's a great guitarist too, as is David Gilmore, Brian May, Hank Marvin and Justin Hayward etc. This brings me to all the best film composers of our time, i.e., John Barry, James Newton Howard, John Williams, and of course my favorite,
Gary Moore just absolutely made love to his guitar every time he played it. It is just so fantastic to watch and hear.
Brilliant ,
@@patrickmcadam5098 and he plays his guitar like it hypnotize you to the point that you dont want the song to end.........
