Usually that’s when the rainy season starts to wind down and it starts cooling off more at night which is pleasant. Sometimes more like late November though, depends on the year.

Great question! I actually did a video titled “Retire in Playa Del Carmen on $700-$900usd/month” you may want to check out. $2,500 is very realistic even for couples. I pay $350/usd for a nice studio apt with wifi and utilities (except electricity) included. So even with a 1 bedroom at $550/month you’d be off to a great start with that $2,500/month budget.
No doubt, summer is next level. That’s why I love the ojos de agua when they pop up. Fresh, cool water. Otherwise, if you can, hit Cenote Edén. So refreshing and quite a ways off the highway. There’s a separate cenote at the back of the property with less people too.

I was in Playa February 4th to February 24th 2022, it was cool weather and rained from 5th to the 12th quite a bit, people wearing rain gear .❤

Hot and sunny with a few heavy rainstorms from time to time. Less humid and a little cooler at night than right now. More pleasant overall 😎
