- Building the axles with a few of my tips that I've been doing for years. from upgrading the steering link rod ends, filing the front axle to give a better turn radius, to swapping the front axle leaf spring hanger shakles....
The lift axle mechanism is available in the UK from AsTec Models

Looking good
Looking great mate
Good idea about the tube I like it 👍
you can put a little blob of PVA in the tube to stop it sliding off the drive cup if you want.
Nice job, look forward to the next part.👍
Nice video Teri 😎 , I like the wheels 😀 and that MAN cab looks nice 👍👍👍
Leicester on Sunday, are you up for a bit of RC Trucking?
Going to be building one of these shortly, fantastic tips Teri.
There's more to come, trust me... lol
Awesome video Teri 👍, do you have a part number for the Rod Ends you use please from RC4WD? many thanks Teri, keep up the good work, hope you feel better soon 👍
Thanks, I'm all better now...
the part numbers are...
M3 Offset Plastic - 20 Rod Ends Suspension Link Ball RC4WD Z-S0400
M3 Straight Plastic - 20 Rod End Suspension Link Ball RC4WD Z-S0399
I get them from RC-Bitz, great service.
Thanks Teri, you are a diamond 👍
The shackle swap looks a good idea but does the tag axel now lift high enough? I have heard that it barely leaves the ground as is, hanging on a longer shackle it will be even closer... Could you maybe add the aftermarket parts into the info? Maybe with a link? Also that 'sonic screwdriver' Where, and how much. I need this! Hey! That was a MAN cab! lol
You noticed the MAN cab being put on... haha. it's still going to be a Scania though.
I'll do a Short on how much the lift axle actually goes up with the longer shackle.
I saw the Sonic Screwdriver on another channel and thought "I need that"... it's a Sequre and I got it from a Drone store. www.unmannedtechshop.co.uk/product/sequre-sq-es126-smart-electric-screwdriver-w-24-bits/
@@TeriWilde Thank you I will lookforward to the video. Off to look at the Sequre! thanks
I've added the link to where I bought the lift axle motor 👍
As for the Sequre screwdriver, I had to have it purely for the "gadget factor"....🤣
@TeriWilde i have old broken down fingers, so a good thing when there are dozens of screws to do up. Trying to find one in the EU is a challenge!
What is that battery screwdriver you’re using? Where do u get them? It looks great!
