The tamiya transmission has always been a pain, I hated the way it always twisted when connected to the servo I'll be getting aleast 2of those servo setups, as always completely impressed by your ability to explain how to build these trucks!
After a 62 hours week.... What you took a day off! lol. A great video and still informative, despite the small hiccups due to being tired. Looking forward to the control going in.
Great video as always Teri ,I fit those gearbox shift servos to all my tamiya trucks but I've found that drilling a third hole at the bottom of the servo bracket helps stop the servo from flexing ,looking forward to seeing the rest of this truck build
Hi Teri I have just put an order in for the 770s 8 4/4 and on the it looks as the motor is different to what Tamiya use so why did you change it to the Carson.
Dont want to be a game braker but there is still one mistake in the gearbox top shaft last gear, the one opposit the Motor should be Turned around ,the way its mounted Right now de Gears don’t line up totally checked in the drawings brass inerpart should be on the other side still Great Build Busy myself with the Same one

I prefer the Carson Poison Truck Puller 80t motor because it is slower and draws less current which makes the batteries last longer.
