METAL 5th wheel latch!!?? Well done, Tamiya! I wonder if that will be available separately?

And.... the tag axle mechanism is quite clever. IF I'm able to get one of these.... that might be okay by me.
But still excited to see how the powered unit gets on!!

i keep banging on about it, but led's / wiring is doing my head in (not started the build because of fear of them) in the spirit of you asking if we would like to see anything, how it's done etc during the build, may I request a video or two of your led wiring and resistor choices etc?
I understand, finally about wiring leds up parallel (with in-series resistors) to the beier sfr-1 (e'g 3rd party aftermarket dutch style rear bumper with multiple led's, and sun visors and roof bars etc) trouble I am having is how to figure out the voltage of the leds, so i can work out the resistor values to use with say a 3s lipo (think beier can take 3s, maybe i'll use 2s) These items didn't come with specs for the leds and some of the leds are angel eye types with blue and white leds so presumably have different demands.
i can solder, i have a multimeter (hardly know how to use it tho lol) an led tester powered off a 9v battery etc etc...all the gear, no idea lol and a whole plethora of 1/4w resistors... not really sure if i would need 1/2w resistors, but if i did it would only be for the rear bumper due to amount of leds, otherwise I am pretty confident 1/4w resistors will be fine
I always struggle trying to figure things out without seeing how its done by someone...and I know it is not your job to teach me lol
However, if the worst comes to the worst, and my fear/ignorance prevents me from tackling it, would you be able to provide that paid for service? (thought i'd ask incase you could)
Sorry, I know youtube comments aren't the best place to write such detailed posts, but you have always been so helpful on fb and here I dont want to take advantage of your kindness by emailing (feels a bit more personal and pressured to email you).
However, as said, if it comes to it, and you would be able to offer the help/service, I would be happy to pay you for the electrics side of thing...let me know in the comments and then I can email to talk further once I know that would be ok? If not, no worries, I will continue to enjoy and learn from your builds...cheers Teri

Great video! I have this truck unbuilt on the shelf gathering parts for it at the moment. Where did you get that electric lift for the #2 steering axle?

Do not drill the rails. It’s not needed. I’ve already installed mine. I can show images just how?
