Making Workshop Small Parts and Hardware Storage

  • I'm in the middle of a huge workshop reorganisation and needed some new storage for small parts and hardware. Pick bins make it easy to find things when you need them so I made some racks to keep them in and maximise the available space.
This is the first video I've made in my workshop so please bear with me while I iron out the rough edges. Making shelves is much easier than making videos!
This video features music from Bensound.com

Great design and you are a diligent worker.
    Good job.
Are you able to get out and get more supplies to finish the project.
    Good luck, stay healthy.

Indeed, the project was completed a few weeks after I made the video. There's a photo of the finished racks @GarageGremlin on Twitter.

I did buy a big belt sander since I made that video last year. One day I'll get a small handheld one as well!

Great video! I just got a lot of plywood for free and I need this kind of storage system. Just thinking should I build small boxes out of that plywood also (lot of work haha) or buy those plastic ones. Keep making videos!

Making all the boxes as well would be a huge amount of work. If you have the time and patience though then why not? Plastic pick bins are available in all kinds of sizes and prices though. For me it was worth spending the money and putting my effort elsewhere. I have other videos I'm working on or thinking about. There will be more eventually!
