Once someone has passed away they're gone. This AI recreation of that person is taking technology one step too far. Money making play thing, this is all it is..
But I'm afraid that's how it will be now, nothing can be done. Just like with gunpowder back in the 9th century, when alchemists were looking for the elixir of life and they discovered sodium and potassium nitrate, which are key ingredients in gunpowder and react violently when burned. And today we have what we have - about 60 different international conflicts that are going on right now, where people are turning their weapons on each other, killing each other.
To say that this is bringing him back is a fantasy. It isn't him, the reactions and responses will not be him, it will be what they create based on the man who was alive. It's weird, and potentially harmful really. Someone who is so revered and respected could easily be misrepresented.
No one is saying this is the beloved real Parky, but an AI approximation of the tone and style of one of the best interviewers who ever lived. I would love to see AI Parky interview much loved personalities and heroes like Sir Chris Hoy, in the Parky style, for future generations to look back on and treasure.
Whether one likes it or not AI is here to stay. And I'm liking it ! I agree with what Mr Parkinson says about the necessity for mankind to learn to get comfortable with artificial intelligence. Man is ingenious when it comes to creation of pseudo-bogeymen.

We can't stop people doing things like this. You have the option not to listen to it, so I don't see it as a problem.
Let people die with dignity and remember them as they were. To me it’s completely sick!
This is absolutely ridiculous and completely insane. Exactly what AI should not be used for.
Doesn’t sit right with me 😞
This is a massive misjudgement on his families behalf.
Perfect timing at Halloween !!!… very ghostly and creepy!!…❤️

Even after death they make him work for money lol.
Creepy
Just a money grab
ghouls pillaging the grave. shame.
This is the most red dwarf ish thing I've ever seen. Just stick an H on his AI head and call it a day
Its great , Why not , im looking forward to his interview with Sir Oliver Reed ................................
Terrible. Really terrible.
Why ? I don't think it's right
I would love to appear in that podcast because Michael Parkinson is the G.O.A.T 🐐
Ooooo thats freaky
He never really said his Dad gave his blessing though did he.
But what's the point of it?
Just dreadful and very sad that they have decided to do this.

I'd rather hear what they do, before passing judgement. Probably better that his son does this, than someone who never met Michael Parkinson.
Think this is amazing, I lost my Dad in May, would love to hear his voice again.
