I still remember watching the first episode of the office that went out at 10pm on BBC2 I think it was. By the end of the first 30 minute episode I was hooked. Absolute comic superstar is our Ricky.

I love watching Comedians being interviewed, they always come across as highly intelligent, quick witted and likable, for some reason very few actors have the same effect, I am often disappointed and am left with the impression that without a script and someone putting words in their mouth they are just like ordinary people caught in the headlights....neither impression is necessarily true, just the way they come across sometimes.....never seen any comedian who doesn't have a witty answer of comment on any question or subject, Ricky Gervais, Robin Williams, Billy Connolly etc but all comedians are similar, not all are up to the aforementioned standard but they are all quick witted, you never want to start trying to match insults with a comedian cos you will lose every time, they will cut you down, eat you up and spit you out all in one sentence

I worked on the office and extras..and I can tell you extras was so funny, as the extras that do come on set are very odd.
I was an extra and hated it. The long hours waiting around, being told to shut up, then never being used as you didn't have the look they were after!
