Good for you. Appreciate your journey out of self destruction and depression. Weight training is great to get one's psyche going. I've been in the fountain pen world for the past 2 years. Someone suggested journaling to me. That led to fountain pens. Sailor is a great brand. I've got the gold nib Sailor Pro Gear pens.
Journaling has been a huge part of pulling myself out of depression and away from alcohol! I just recently got into fountain pens, and it's been a great addition to my journey already.

Gosh, what a classy pen. That's the kind of pen that I'm really attracted to. I've got a Pilot Custom 823 in amber, which is similar in vibe I feel. That one there seems slightly more,, earnest? I know that's a strange descriptor. Anyway, beautiful pen. Thanks youtube for showing me tiny little channels like this from time to time.

Thanks for sharing this pen :D I am unsure of how I'd like a metal Sailor, as I have two metal Jinhao pens and I don't quite enjoy them as much. How do you like the metal grip? Is it slippery or is it pretty nice? What are your other fountain pens? I will be looking out to see them all! :) I need to add a Fine Sailor into my collection...I've yet sold mine, but I think it was a bit scratchier than it should have been, so I got a bit unlucky as yours looked very smooth! :) Welcome to the fountain pen world!
I've written about 30 pages with it now, and I love it. I have the Sailor Pro Gear Realo that is a resin body, and I like like the feel of the Cylint better than the pro gear. I enjoy the weight of the metal!
