What is ASMR?
Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response

I can't believe I found this. When I was little I had horrible night anxiety, and my mom was an avid reader. I had completely forgotten that i used to fall asleep next to her and I was only able to close my eyes and try to sleep because I could hear that she was still awake & reading by the sound of the pages turning. It was always so comforting. My mom passed away 2 years ago, and I hadn't thought about this in nearly 20 years. Thank you so much for creating this video - I'll be falling asleep to it every night now💜

I think a big part for me, is how gentle and respectful you're being with each page. You are giving care and attention, no page feels left out. That on top of the sounds just makes this a really comforting experience ❤❤❤

Page turning is one I’ve loved from being really young.
Since i was a child i have always loved hearing and watching the pages being turned in a book, thank you 🤍xx
When I was younger, my mom used to read books to me. When my baby sister was born, she wouldn’t want to wake her up (we lived in a tiny apartment, and I had to share a room with her), but I also couldn't fall asleep without her with a book by my side, so she'd just open a picture book and wouldn’t even read the book, just showed me the pictures with minimal comentary lol
I haven’t been that close with my mom since that time, and I've been missing her like CRAZY since I moved out. This took me all the way back to that time, thank you ❤
I don't know what's wrong with this ASMR, but it's magical! No other video calms me so much. I fall asleep every time 5 minutes after I start. it `s Magic!!

Woke up almost 3 hours in, you know its good asmr if you sleep through it. Some noises are too harsh and wake me up but this is very soothing. Going back to sleep with it. 💕☺️

Oh wow this is awesome. Great choice in book. The pages are thick large paper so they make a full, rich sound and that you chose Dragonlance is a perfect blend of slightly obscure and fantastic. All around great asmr content. Props.
You really sat in one spot. For four hours. Flipping pages of books. Nu uh. My ass would have had the tv on. You would have heard "90 day fiance" in the background, and my dogs barking. Then i would start eating some chips so every two seconds you would hear a loud CRUNCH. the dedication you have is insane."

She also introduced me to the Dragonlance series and suddenly I found I wanted to read. Just like magic. For several years, I never went anywhere without a book.
