My goodness, that is a curious, expensive pen, with a very ingenious nib.
As always I am lost in admiration for your visualization and drawing skills.
This is not a pen which I shall buy for noting down the scores in my daily Canasta games with my friend.
    Thank you

I love the drawing of the milo van! To be honest, due to my limited knowledge, I didn't expect there to be much of a difference when using both thick and thin lines together, but the milo van drawing that you did blew my mind away!
I am definitely learning how using thick and thin lines together with create dynamic and contrast to a drawing! Thanks for this review/tutorial! 😊

I have this pen and I absolutely love it. None of my other pens have this same feel or drawing experience. Truly a work of art! Pricey, but I'll also have this for the rest of my life, so for me it is worth the investment.

I got the Fude nib out of this second batch of special nibs by Sailor when they appeared in the market in 2019 and had to wait a few months because their release was delayed. They seemed too much overpriced to my taste but I pulled the trigger nevertheless thinking I could always resell it. After trying it I had to revise my opinion: like you said there is nothing else on the market that compare unless you ask a personal grind to a nibmeister. They're really smooth and a joy to write and draw with. There are cheaper alternatives but if you wanna give yourself a once in a lifetime present, any nib of this special line would do.

What a beautiful pen, truly gorgeous. I suppose it's like buying a Rolls Royce - it gets you from A to B the same as a cheaper car but the quality and durability make the driving experience so much better. Thanks for sharing it!

Sailor doesn't sell their nibs separately and they made getting their specialty nibs a bit more difficult to get. If you have a pen with a Jowo #6 nib, you should probably check out Monty Winnfield who welds nibs together to replicate this nib. I think his "Seagull" nib is similar to the concord.

Great pen. You might want to mention that the scratchy sounds from the pen I caused allot from the watercolor paper which is probably cold presses. If you tested it on tomaoe River paper it would be much smoother. Looks like it is similar to a Fude pen for the line widths, does it feel different because of the gold nib? I would love to test these, maybe at the next pen show.. please show that cross emperor again, , looks great..thanks for the review..

Hi Teoh ! I think this is a very goog fountain pen for architects to sketch on location, even to draw plans at the office. I regret one thing of you review : you didn't wrote any sentence. It would be interesting to see european writing and also some Chinese calligraphy. I don't know if it is easy to turn in half a second the nib while writing. For curent Chinese writing it's probably better to have a nib a bit flexible. That Sailor is great and probably last very long time if you don't lose it (is there an insurance for this?). Definitely this a fountain pen for rich passionate people.
