  • I am here thinking what if I took hyper lapses as the sun goes down and gets darker and darker. Starting at 5:30 on to 9:00 pm I spread out the hyper lapses throughout the night.
    Equipment used:
Sony A7IV with Tamron 17-28 F-2.8, Rode Go 2 Mic, Lume Cube Full RGB panel.
DJI Air 2s using ND16PL and CPL for the majority.

Hey, Jeff, your video came on YT's recommendations and I saw that I was already subbed to you. I have Mini 2 and hyperlapses are way too hard for me to figure out so I'm always impressed with everyone else's hyperlapses. These turned out amazing and groovy!

I love my Mini 2, I lives in my standard camera bag that holds my sony A7IV, rode go 2, lens, lights, wireless mics ect. The mini 2 I don’t believe have a hyperlapse mode. I’m actually going double check right now .

Yeah unfortunately it doesn’t have the hyperlapse feature, if you want to get in to them I suggest the DJI Air 2s its 90% ish as good as the mavic 3 and it’s on sale from an already very respectable price, get the fly more bundle. If you have the extra cash get a mavic 3 classic, the heavier the drone the more stable in the wind means smoother hyperlapses, video and photos and better lowlight with the 4/3 inch sensor on the mav 3 classic but with flymore( which comes with 2 extra batteries, props, ND Filters, multiple battery charger, and a soft case that turns into a backpack but I keep my air 2 s in a hard case and would for the mavic 3 classic so between the 2 your gonna pay twice the price for a drone that in my opinion isn’t twice the drone it’s definitely the next drone for me but I have alot invested in the air 2s platform and drones crash its the name of the game. Though the mavic 3’s all of them have omnidirectional obstacle avoidance so thats all around up down front back side to side which can be a big deal in saving you from a crash. The Air 2s is missing the side sensors, it has front back up and down sensors, but no side sensors. Flying sideways to get a shot is like the 1 way drone crashes happen. All in all the air 2s has a higher megapixel video on a 1 inch sensor( no aperture adjustment) remember when one of the mavic 2 pro was boasting that 1 inch sensor? 1 inch sensor on the air 2s is amazing good for professional work and half the price of the lowest version of the mavic 3 (the classic, which is an amazing drone and I want one)

@@JeffDalziel Looks like you have a great setup. No, the Mini 2 doesn't have a hyperlapse mode but there are complicated ways of making one. I've tried them and given up! I'll wait until I get a new drone. I've had my Mini 2 for 3 1/2 years and it's still flying like it did on the first day.

@@JeffDalziel The Mavic 3 Classic is what I'd like but I do love the Mini 3's specs. I started with the Mavic Air so I don't mind the "big" drones but the Mini 2 has been awesome.
