Manny Alban drives a 1993 968 Clubsport, the hottest, track-focused front-engined four-cylinder Porsche money can buy. They weren’t sold in North America new, but they’re now eligible to import into the US, as this owner did. Watch the video for Manny’s impressions.

3L 4cyl 👍
Wow...is this car currently being displayed at Porsche Main Line in PA? I swear I just saw it yesterday haha. 😁👌
The cover image channeled Tom Hnatiw. After seeing it I had to look up his test of the 996 GT3.
I'll take that as a compliment. Loved Tom Hnatiw.
6 speed manual not 5.
Yikes, good catch.
One quibble with your review - three factory never offered the side graphics. That was something done by Porsche GB.
I did not know that Jeff - not a fan of the graphic
Good to know. I always loved the color matched wheels.
Load of space under the hatch- I easily got my Mountain bike in- 26” in the 90’s!!
I transported a full size 6 foot book shelf in my 924S. Reclined the passenger seat as far as it would go, lowered the rear seats and slid the book shelf in. Was even able to shut the hatch for the trip home.

Its cheaper to buy a regular 968 and remove the excess weight yourself, sanity check.
Definitely cheaper, but it doesn't make it a Clubsport.
@@PorscheClubofAmerica True, but could end up with something better than the Factory Club Sport and save a small fortune.
The club sport and sport have updated suspension also lowered 20mm with thicker sway bars. This would be significant cost on top of a roll cage. I think I disagree that stripping weight would give you save a lot of money. C/s , sport 17”” wheels £2500
Owned a 93 slate grey …. Til this day I regret selling it !!!! 😠
We certainly understand. Thanks for watching. Be sure to subscribe.
