Very educational and well presented. The deliberate way you address your audience in English which is clearly not your native language but almost perfect all the same is commendable. I am surprised the owner of this vehicle had not already had an accident as the steering would have been awful to control. Nice lift - my dream to have one day 😁
I once owned an MK4 Golf 1.8t with the cold weather package; manual. I loved everything about that car. I cried for a full hour when I decided to sell that wonderful vehicle. I now drive a manual MK6 GTI. I love everything about it. I'm about to hit 100k miles and it has been as reliable as a Honda. Best car for the money is a GTI.
Thank you for this, I was crawling under my car earlier trying to look at all the suspension bits and found nothing wrong but now I have a new place to look and jiggle and i am betting its the same issue on the Beetle I got for my daughter.
I have been looking at videos "font end noise vw mk2" Going to replace my struts. But I have a clunk when I hit bumps on the road. Wanted to have a idea of whats going on before I tear into it. Your video reproduced the type of sound I was looking to find. Thanks for the A+ Content.
"Clunk-click every trip" as they used to say in the UK road safety TV advertisemrent (For seat belts). Skoda Fabia MK1 has the shot bush problem with the anti-roll bar. is it me or were the inboard edges of both front tyres disproportionately worn ? The latter seems to be an issue with a lot of VWs. Fault in the suspension design or suspension not set'up properly ?
thank you now i know where the noise comes from the service dept coulnt find anything either but we still hear the klynky sound only when i takeca bump ty
I think TH-cam's AI fed me this video because google hears the clunking noise my volkswagon makes as I turn or accelerate. I was assuming is was a cv joint, but I will check these out for sure now!
Thank you so much for the great video, I have vw eos 2008 and I hear the same sound as described in the video , I change right and left arms bushes, right and left boots are OK, the rubber by steering arms( next to the tie rod ) both sides are OK, both suspensions replaced with new one , link road OK, ball joints OK..and still the same noise , may I beg your help please as you are experienced and tell me where is the problem ? Thank you very much
I'm sure mine are shot I'm sure...can see big cracks in the upper control arms.. on the car you're working on I bet the uppers are shot too. I've been driving like this for 5+ years no bad luck yet. wandering slightly but drives fine. a little rough but hey... its a beater with a heater!
Hello, seek your support , i have skoda rapid and noise comes when its goes on bumpy/ rough roads.... have got the suspension done from Skoda only- but still noise is there and workshop people unable to figure out... can u please help

Have the shocks tested and it may be the Strut bearing and rubbers

I feel like I have the same problem with my vw Tiguan. Only clunks when I turn the wheel. Any idea what it could be?
If lower arm bushing is worn out, we want to replace the whole lower arm or only the bush....????
Some cars you can just replace the bushing, other cars you replace the whole arm

And your point is?
that lower front tooth is so annoying to loook at.
Not as annoying as your comment.
