I have a 2014 Tiguan. Same noise. Replace front strut and rear shocks. I replace them because the passenger front strut is bad. After replacing them, noise seems moving from the passenger front to the driver front. It just acts so wired. Anyone figure out what’s wrong with it?

I had this video looked at by the VW techs and they didn't know what I was talking about / couldn't replicate it. My car is now out of warranty, so I won't be doing anything about it - but I haven't heard this sound for about a year now. I wonder if it'll come back...
I have a 2011 VW Tiguan, same noise as everyone else. I have replaced: control arms, shocks + shock mounts, sway bar links, tie-rods. Same sound, never went away and I cannot figure it out for the life of me.
I have a 2017 tiguan and I have the same noise / sound coming from the left driver side area. I had the full strut assembly replaced (I had damage to it 2 weeks ago) , and after this noise started! To me sounds like dice in a cup rattling when I'm on shaky pavement. High speeds I do not notice although under 50mph I do. Vw service mechanic hears it, I recorded it 3x, but have not found anything to date. Nothing is loose. Everything comes back OK 😣

Alejandro Amiama same dude, I have a 2014 R line and makes noises as well. I’m pretty sure it’s the control arm bushing or sway bar bushing

Replaced sway bar bushings on our 2012 with 205,xxx kms and noise went away
My 14 does the same. I’m almost certain it’s the subframe bolts.

Me too, but nobody knows where cames this noise! I suspect steering rack!

yep. my Dad''s 09 does it.. hmm maybe I will check the subframe bolts.. I am pretty sure it is the front control arm bushings

Heard a very similar sound on my Tiguan. Front right arm was the cause.
