    Your 'awkward' description was PERFECT!!!! I totally understand and appreciate you explaining everything, thank you, thank you!!!!

    Twitch, you are doing much better than me! I bought a spray gun over 5yrs ago - it's still in the box. It's packed away in one of 7 storage units - never opened. Your explanations are totally understandable. I believe you are a bit hard on yourself. I find you, your personality and memorable facial expressions to be awesome. I have always been drawn to the unexpected. I literally cannot predict Twitch's content and that's part of the fun. I have unsubscribed from many channels due to being able to predict the creator's conversations, especially when they are stroking their own egos. I guess a memorized script made them feel secure. Twitch isn't boring. Twitch is fun, real and informative.

    oh this is a fantastic explanation and description in my language!!! down to earth Twitch... I love it. and appreciate you taking the time to make a slightly scary new task seem much more straight forward. I am so glad I watched it before I had a go... at least I won't ruin it on the first go as you showed just how easy it is to clean.

    I use inexpensive shower curtain liners for drop cloths. When I replace my shower curtain liners, I set those aside for drop cloths too. Reduce, reuse, recycle ♻️
    Love your videos Twitch :)

    Brilliant. One thing to add...there is a little hole in the top of the feeding tube. Air needs to get through that hole.
    Don't ever shake your paint in the paint canister as it can block that hole in the tube. Also needs to be cleaned with your metal cleaning stick.

      I didn't know there was a hole there, thanks Sue I'll have a look

    Great video. Very natural and funny at times. Learned alot. I like to know more about type of paints used like water based vs enamel and what to look out for. Well done!

    Great video, well explained. Right at the start of the cleaning section, you will see a buildup of paint on the nozzle, like a skin of paint, I find I need to give the nozzle a wipe every 2-3 mins, to stop that buildup. At the rear of the spray gun, in the centre of the part that goes into the fan unit, you will see a plastic nut, this holds the brass needle, be careful there is also a spring in there, it pays to pull the needle out maybe not every time, but if you are getting uneven paint coming out the nozzle, then giving the needle a full clean, and making sure that the airways in the air spray part are clean, there are two small holes that become clogged, also you can remove the brass nozzle from the front of the gun with a small shifter and give that a good clean. You had great atomisation when spraying, so you are really doing something right!!

      Hi 👋
      I do clean the dried paint off whenever I need to I just didn't show it and I'm pretty sure you're talking about a completely different spray gun because this one doesn't do any of that. It comes with a silver pin for cleaning the nozzle but it doesn't go in the back and there is no need to undo anything with a spanner, everything can be dismantled by hand for cleaning. Sounds like you're talking about an air spray gun.
      Thanks for commenting

    Oh, my goodness - this is such a GREAT demonstration for spraying. I've been afraid of investing (since I don't have deep pockets) in a spray system. I always thought I would need a compression system and all that. It's just out of my league right now. I love all the details you went over. Great idea to keep everything in a pillowcase! That way if there is any moisture left it will dry through the sack. Fab. Great instruction including, "Make sure you do it off-camera so that the people you're showing can't actually see what you're doing." LOLOLOL You're SO funny. Thanks for the video. Now I need to get the US version of this!

    “And make sure you do it off camera” fucking hilarious. I’ve got the exact same spray gun. I used it to paint a fence. It certainly made short work of that job. Great video Twitch. xx

    O thank you, Twitch, for the tips on using a paint sprayer. I've been really nervous to try mine! My husband even got me a spray tent for inside if needed, but not tried it yet. But now I'm going to give it a try, thanks for giving me a bit of confidence! Have a great day 🌷 and hugs for you!

    This was super helpful and I’ve used this to uncycle and entire kitchen and now I’m using it for painting some walls. Obviously the reviews are like it’s far to small for the job but I’ll cop that.
    I finished late last night and decide instead of washing it out completely in the evening id chuck it all in the freezer and deal with it in the morning. Big mistake. But what I learnt is that the brass spray nozzle you stick the pin in wil actually unscrew. So I took it out and cleaned it.
    But my suction tube no longer comes off and I can’t turn it around so I’m wondering if I should just get another one and start again with all the things I know!
    I haven’t been taking the motor off when I clean it either that would probably make my life easier too. Also that thing you did by adjusting the pressure and then holding down the button to clean the nozzle. All brilliant

    Thankyou for the demonstration. Your way of explaining is fabulous. My brain could actually follow what you were describing. So helpful to see a more affordable unit used. 👍

    Thanks Twitch. I've been putting off using my spray gun as I'm like you. I'd rather see than read instructions. I understand a lot more and appreciate seeing the set-up and cleaning. I'm ready to try and give it a go on a queen bedroom suite I've been putting off doing. Fingers crossed. Thanks again darl.

    this video was great! Do you need to wash the sprayer out between coats and if not how long would you leave it before washing it out? For example if you had multiple projects being sprayed at once would it start to clog up after an hour or so?

    • @CreepDesignsbyTwitch
      @CreepDesignsbyTwitch  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I don't clean it out between coats but I suppose it depends on how long you're waiting, if you're leaving it overnight I'd probably decant the paint and clean it.
      When I go back to it after waiting for a coat to dry I first check the nozzle for any dried paint and test spray again before doing my next coat

    Thanks Twitch for this tutorial! Like a lot of commenters I have a sprayer not used yet that i got for Christmas. (My family wonders what Granna is up to 😉). I was a bit intimidated by it, but if you can share your struggles then I can certainly get my arse out to the shed and try 😁. I want to spray zinsser primer through it. Will that work? Have you used it to prime?

    • @CreepDesignsbyTwitch
      @CreepDesignsbyTwitch  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Katharine, I'm so glad so many people are going to give it a go after seeing this video. I love it!
      I haven't used it to prime yet and I've also never used bin zinzzer prime so I don't want to give you the wrong advice. If you're in a Facebook group called Chalk Painters Australia your best bet might be to ask there

    i'm sure you're already aware cos of the world we live in, but you know you have adhd, right? Your explanations are perfect for adhd brains but it was buying 20 whiteboards in optimistic attempts to be organised and then never using them that gives it away, haha. Stuff like this where we use both our hands and our minds are so good for us though! Great informative vid, i'm off to buy my sprayers now i know all the ins and outs! also didnt think about the paint particles being harmful, so good looking out.

    How bad is the overspray with the Ozito 400w? I see you are in the garage. I'm nervous the everything will get covered. TX
