    Glad to finally see an honest review of this. I purchased the BD for Ram 1500 and it really was a letdown on available PID info. I put it on my Audi and once again, really very little value. Put it in my Jeep, same thing. In fact, it drained down my Rams battery over 2 nights, which is crazy.
    It really is only a fancy scan tool, when compared to any other sub-$50 device. For the price and marketing, it should way more PID info or some minimal bidirectional use.

      I’m glad you found the review helpful. Did you leave the bd plugged into the ram for 2 nights?

    You are spot on with blue driver diagnostics. The only thing is with your favorite recommendations, it has subscription option after one year, that's another nono for me.

    • @RANDOMFIX
      @RANDOMFIX  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, subscription model is the future for these applications based tools. I would avoid all of these and get real scan tool that includes 3 years of updates and will still be work after the updates expire such as this tool th-cam.com/video/QKNp2bFYcVI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=_9hqpvLn7VC3sNL5

      @@RANDOMFIX Let me ask you this, I own a 2010 Toyota Yaris and it tends to take off very slow at a red stop, to the point that I get honked at, for not picking up speed as quickly as it should, but there is no check engine light, and the car even passed smog under those same circumstance, so my question is, will this device diagnose the problem? and if so, what icons options should I click on off the screen or should I focus on or which if not just one?

    Thanks! Decided to go with the Autel for $26. You just saved me $75!

    Ive just brought this in the UK for £170. Which is probably around $250. It doesn't recognise my a5 very well. I fell a bit let down because the vast majority of reviews i read were positive.

      That’s the reason I made these videos because I feel these vendors are getting over on everyone with these yearly fees and it’s just better to buy a regular scan tool as it comes with three years of updates and some will work with an active service and most importantly they work. Here is the video I made trying to explain it th-cam.com/video/jbsDtzkVVVU/w-d-xo.htmlsi=aObL-l-1q7q6X43F

      Check my reviews before you buy the blue driver, this ranked the lowest, it’s just a fancy obd2 reader. See the other two, the video links are below in description

    Looks like you blurred the VIN code on your camera, but the VIN is clearly visible on the top of the screenshot. 😁

    Literally on the screen: "Locked Orientation: *Off* | On"

    Fakespot gives it a D rating

      Sorry I don’t understand, what gets a d rating?

    • @TheBob_
      @TheBob_ 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@RANDOMFIX Fakespot is a Firefox addon developed by Mozilla itself that can analyze reviews for products on Amazon and uses algorithms or some such to weed out potential fake reviews and provide an adjusted "star" rating based on that analysis. It then grades the over-all review set based on how many fake reviews it finds; A, B, C, D, or F.
      I just used it to re-analyze the BlueDriver and it did come up to a B grade in the past three months, but the adjusted "star" rating is still only 3.5 stars.
