I once found two sets of Darth Malak's armor on Dantooine. It was my first time playing with the restored content mod and I had never seen the set before in my many playthroughs. Freaked me out for a few minutes
Right now I'm playing my first playthrough of Kotor. When I freed Master Vrook from the Mercenaries, one of the crates had Malak's armour. I was so hyped until remembered! I'm light side :(
Lol it totally made sense in my head too. Kinda like how some words are spelled different but pronounced the same. Once I realized it, I felt pretty dumb lol but glad it can get a chuckle from some. I would pay money to see a Star Wars South Park crossover game!
(9:29) With TSLRCM, the Aleema Keto's robes could be had as early as on Telos, from either of the traders, for about 19500 credits. They're slightly better alternative to Ossus Keeper's robes, since Aleema Keto's robes admit underlays, whereas the Ossus Keeper's ones do not.
A lot of the names robes are pulled straight out of the Tales of the Jedi comics from characters in the Exar Kun war. Technically this game is only like 30-40 years after Exar Kun. Awesome Easter eggs.
There was an exploit to gain huge amounts of XP in the cave on Korriban. You had to loot repeatedly a corpse at some poimt and a bunch of huge lizzards would spawn. Kill and repeat. The problem was that Force points would not regen if you were a light side char. To overcome that, unequip your +Wisdom items, loot the corpse (spawn the lizzards) then equip your +Wis gear. Slow and boring, but you could get to lvl 50. !! I don't know if this works with the Restoration mod. Have fun!
The Hssiss Glitch was patched out with the other glitches in the the restored content mod. There is a mod that adds it back in though which works perfectly!
It's really cool to see all these kotor videos. I played these games when they first came out on PC and I must have been about 12 and I still remember learning how to enable the cheats on the kotor games and the jedi knight games. I felt like a real hacker XD
Glad you are enjoying them! I still have a few more that I am working on so I don't plan to stray from Kotor 2 content just yet! Hopefully should have one done and up in the next week or so.
I've found Malaks Armor in a container in the Telos Academy...regardless I was always disappointed because the armor doesn't look like what is shown in the video. It always shared the same skin as the Zeison Sha Initiate Armor.
Kotor 2 did Jedi robes more justice then the first Kotor, the flowing over robe adds a lot. the Jedi armors are a very nice idea, really showing other pieces had views on the force and how it applied. more often then not when I played the game on the X Box I only got the Zeison Sha Initiate Armor.
On my first playthrough with TSLRCM the duros vendors on Telos were both already selling Dark Jedi Knight robes (and most of the ones in lower tiers) when I first talked to them. I thought I was somehow just very lucky, but this video cleared it up.
So, how about when you first enter the harbinger in the first room to the left when you spawn in I got in a plasteel crate I got a neophyte armor....I was level 4...i dont not know...
I have heard some crazy stories like this before. A friend in my Discord server was able to pull off Master Jedi robes from there as well. Sometimes the game just blesses you with a very good rare item lol
Yeah, I read a while back that the more you play and complete the game, every new game has a shuffle of content. I can always remember my 2nd playthrough gave me a Gray Jedi Master Robe in my harbinger quarters locker.
@@RantRadio Oh interesting that would make sense. I love it when you get those super good items early on in the game. I hate running through the Traya Academy and getting my first Mandalorian Disintegrator lol
Lol thank you very much! I really do appreciate it. I'm trying real hard to push out good content so it hopefully should keep growing, even if just little by little. Comments like these keep me going! :)
I swear this game purposefully does that lol I ALWAYS find Malak's armor on my Lightside playthroughs. I sometimes come across it on my Darkside runs, but it is usually late game when I do.
Idk if you ever figured it out but I found your video again and decided to answer a question you had. Robes that have an alignment requirement will automatically force you naked (lol) if you fall out of the required alignment. You'll see your character quickly reload and now you're naked lol
@@CatDaddyGaming You're welcome. I discovered it because I've been playing this game forever. Its probably the game I've played the most in my 25 years of life so I know almost everything about the first 2 games. I discovered this because my game has a bug where my party members will flip their entire alignment mid sentence. I have the SW movie accurate robes mod so there's a couple extra robes that I'll use on people I've trained like Atton, they work the same way. So mid sentence Atton will say something evil I guess and then his whole face turns dark and he becomes naked and I'm always like "damn it's that big of a deal so you gotta get naked now?" Lol
when i was playing kotor 2 for the first time i randomly got malak’s armor on onderon from a random twilek i killed. i was so excited because i loved his armor in the first game so i was extremely disappointed when i equipped it and saw how it actually looked. i didn’t even wear it because imo it looked ugly, but now you’re telling me that it’s a rare drop? lmao. cherry on top is that i was doing a dark side run. truly a wasted opportunity
This was great, thank you. I would love to see your prospective on a Bao Dur Jedi (Sith) build. I keep reading to not turn him Jedi because he can’t use force powers with armor. I really liked playing him as a Sith Lord (turned him Maul style after watching your mod vid). What powers can he use? What armor works/ looks best? Props for making walkthroughs for a ~20 year old game, your videos are really well done.
Thank you for the kind words! Very much appreciated. I always turn him into a Jedi. He gets more Skill Points if you leave him as a Tech Specialist but I think the trade off for more Force Powers is worth converting him. T3 is a Skill Master so you can always rely on him. So the shitty thing is NO armor or robes work for him if you want him to be a Force caster. You have to equip him with just standard clothes or a miners uniform if you want him to use Force Powers. Which is a real bummer. There is a mod out there you can tack on that lets him wear robes and use Force Powers but I haven't tried that one out yet. I usually just give him the beefiest armor I come across. He can still use Force Heal and Force Jump with armor on and that is good enough for me. I usually play Consular so my main character does all the casting and the other companion are just beefy meat shields lol
Lol I feel like the game likes to taunt you like that. I have only come across it on LS runs as well. Every time I go DS I never happen to come across it!
Thank you very much! This has been requested by quite a few different people. I will start working on one for sure. Was going to do one on how to build HK47 correctly but I think I will also do one on a Jedi Gunslinger like you mentioned. Thank you for the suggestion! :)
It’s my first time finding a sal shey neophyte armor before level 10 on the citadel didn’t realize the rarity, never found one in all my other play throughs .
I totally understand. Xbox and vanilla versions definitely made it way too hard to get some of the robes. There were some I didn't even know existed until I tried out TSLRCM. Xbox version is no doubt still great, but if you got a PC you should try getting a copy so you can try the restored content. A few times a year it goes on sale for around $3 so definitely worth it when it is on sale.
Thank you very much! I certainly hope so, that would be super awesome. I am just glad you are loving the content. It is a real good feeling having people comment that your video helped them out in a tough spot. Hope you continue to enjoy the future content! :)
@@ITzRIDDLLA Agreed! Early game or Lightsided Hsiss glitch can be quite the challenge. Darkside is way easier since your Force Points regenerate. My brother showed me the neat glitch otherwise I would have never known until reading about it on the internet. Those were the good ol days when you only knew game secrets from word of mouth from other fans lol
I know for a fact nomi sunriders robes were available in the original Xbox version of kotor 2 no modding or cheats necessary just an insanely unlikely drop rate as I got them on my very first playthrough of the game from the cave on korriban i remember it clearly even today
Thank you very much! Glad they are being useful. That would be really cool if that happened. Some videos do take like 10 to 20 hours to record and edit, but it is a super rewarding feeling when someone comments that they were able to figure out a part of the game thanks to the video you made. Sometimes it feels like a lot of work, but the feeling of helping other Kotor fans is well worth it!
I believe I've seen malak's armor at somepoint in my many playthroughs but just didn't care because i was too young to give a shit about raw number stats lol.
I commented on one of your other videos and I have to say, the quality of your content is consistent, always giving good instructions and of the ilk. Glad I decided to get the game now than a year ago, now I have a good idea of the garments to look for and when they become available. Somewhat regrettable that I'm restricted to xbox one. But it saddens me that you don't have a deserving number of subscribers, I'd estimate you deserve one million + subs.
Well thank you very much! Your kind words are greatly appreciated! I am growing slowly but surely and the responses to the videos are very positive so I am perfectly happy with that. Maybe one day I can get that big! The only bummer about the Xbox Version is that can't add mods or TSLRCM. Other than that the Xbox Version is still solid. I have the original Xbox game disc that I got when I was a teen. Do you have a PC or laptop? I giveaway a Steam copy of the game in my Discord server every time Steam does a sale on it. Should be 2 more giveaways before the end of the year if you would be interested in that!
@@CatDaddyGaming I do have a pc, but it's an old potato running vista, which the steam updated version dosen't support. I think you helped me on that before, my Discord name is Darth Void.
@@Coles-bootleg-vids No way! I know who you are! Lol what's up my friend! Glad to have you in the Discord. I have heard some people say the you can get the Legacy Version of Kotor 2 when you get it from Steam and it works for them. The troubleshooting can be quite a task though. Let me know if you get a newer PC in the future and I'll do what I can to get the game into your hands so you can try TSLRCM.
If I remember right... Don't you have to do Fassa's quest early in the game, just not turn it in until you are the level of the item you want? I think once you get Go-to in your party, you can no longer get his quest because Vogga is no longer getting hijacked.
I don't think you have to do it early in the game, but I am pretty sure you are correct in having to do it before getting GO-TO in the party. If you do Nar Shaddaa as your last planet then you are a decently high level by the time you get to his quest.
@@CatDaddyGaming That's true. I have a set way of plaything through this game. Enables me to get all the characters into jedi and have their light sabers before tackling any major story content, other than if I'm gonna use Mira that run. I usually grab the quest and do it while I'm on Nar Shadaa for light saber parts and influence
I just installed the restored content mod in steam and as soon as I got to Telos I found JEDI MASTER ROBES with the merchant, LOL. I hope I run into some Sith Lord Robes, given im playin DS
Very nice! It's really awesome coming across these robes once you finally get TSLRCM installed. I am sure you will. The HK Factory and the Ravenger both are great spots where you find tons of high tier loot.
Finally got Darth Malak's armor in the fassa's freighters quest I was always level 50 but he wouldn't give me anything at first I thought it was a glitch but It turns out that he wouldn't give anything to you at level 50 except for Darth Malak's armor but you have to keep trying until he gives it to you....... So yeah after realizing that and after countless attempts of failing to obtain Darth Malak's armor if someone tells me that there's an option to kill fassa and steal that armor from him then in my next playthrough as a sith assassin I WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO SLAUGHTER HIS ALIEN ASS IN FRONT OF HK-47 ( to gain influence ) AND THEN TOSSED HIS SLICED UP AND BURNT CORPSE INTO THE STRATOSPHERE!!!!!!!!
Yeah iam always going with the jedi robes before anything also or the jedi armored with the hoodie and the cape still then everything else, I also love the krath heavy armor that purple....
Interesting! I will have to give this a try. I have him on my Lightside playthrough and it wouldn't let me put it on him but I will have to try it on my Darkside run and see if it will let me.
With the baran do sage robe I found that in the shop at telos and once I got it i never changed it like I sold nearly everything I had and it carried me (I was doing a force build and only force all of my other attributes were servilely crippled and that wisdom came in clutch ended up finding a second one and gave it to atton
I had no idea the max level was 50, I assumed it was capped at 30 or something since my last playthrough ended on level 26, and the best robe I ever found was the Grey Jedi robe. I also initially thought the Jedi Master robes were cut content/something only the Jedi masters you assemble during the game could have because I could never find them. Turns out I wasn't even near the right level for them to spawn. Now on my current playthrough I'm doing XP farming on Dantooine with mines, trying to get to level 30 before heading to Nar Shaddaa, hopefully I find some good stuff there once I'm at that level.
It would have been cool if they had left more to do or had enemies or wild life respawn so we could earn the XP to keep leveling up. Mine farming is quite time consuming but at least it is XP lol there were a good amount of robes I equipped for the first time making the video. I had heard of Malak's armor before but thought it was a mod since I never came across it. Just a ridiculously high level item.
Nice! Such a great feeling when you get an awesome item from the random generation. Always feels like the game messes with me and gives me sweet Darkside stuff on my Lightside playthroughs though lol
CatDaddy Gaming Dude same here Im doing a LS play through on both k1 and k2 switch between them so i dont get burnt out aha, I really gotta get them both on PC again and do a modded playthrough
To be fair, the devs had intended to add in the HK Factory and the Droid Planet before they were told to meet the deadline. Maybe they had some other content planned but you are certainly right. Extremely hard to get above level mid 30s without exploits.
Back when I had a pc I played the restored content mod once but now that I’m only on my Xbox I really hope we get access to steam one day when the Xbox series x is more available for purchase. They recently made you able to link your Xbox gamer tag to your steam account. At the very least I hope more games add mod support like fallout and Skyrim
Jal Shey Mentor Armor is not to be underestimated, though. I got it on my first planet (Dantooine in my case, love to start there) when I was leaving the temple sublevel and that one dickhead salvager attacked me on the exit. Defence (4), charisma (4) and wisdom (1) bonuses are insane, plus the ability to add overlay and underlay. The only bad thing is that it looks like shit, tbh, but that can be fixed with mods. I was consular at level 15 at that time and added charisma did so well it even lowered the cost of neutral and opposite alignment powers for just a bit for some reason. I'm not complaining, though.
Those are a very decent set of armor. I agree with you on them not being the prettiest as well. I usually go for the standard Jedi or Jedi Master robes cuz they make me feel like I look the part. I blame the movies for that. Didn't like the looks of the robes in Kotor 1 so I was really glad they went with the movie style robes in Kotor 2.
@@CatDaddyGaming true, when it comes to pure aesthetic I would definitely pick robes myself, but I'm a sucker for stats and getting the max out of builds, so no pretty looks for me. ;-;
@@condedepiamonte93 What do mean glitched? Like a cutscene or the male character animation? Wouldn't be too surprised though, I have run into quite a few weird bugs in the game lol
@@CatDaddyGaming well, I found at some forums that after T3 is blasted by HK-50, the game crashes and can't move forward, only for the male Exile The cutscene of the talk between Atton and the Exile does not play Saddly enough, the Xbox Bazar has the unfixed version of the game, which I purchased
@@condedepiamonte93 Damn! Hopefully you can get passed it. I know in the Xbox version, sometimes if you start a new playthrough you don't experience the same bugs all the time but that would suck to lose all your progress you have made.
I give the Ossus Keeper Robes to Deciple/Handmaiden. It just seems right to do so. On the farming of mine placement and pick up XP could you do this in Telos between the two areas?
Yes you certainly can! That is one of the places I usually do it when I am looking for some extra XP. As long as you load into an area and then load back to where the mines are, that should be enough to trick the game into giving you XP for recovering the mines.
Cat referring to Jolee's cut robes what would happen if you went too far light or dark while wearing them the answer nothing since theres no script that will unequip gear you no longer can equip due to you not meeting the requirements anymore the gear will simply stay equipped until unequipped and then will become locked ive sent pics in your discord to show that i am in fact on the light side but using a dark side restricted armor (ignore the fact i look like Malak)
Wait, so Malak's armor is available in the vanilla xbox game? I just started a new playthrough for the first time in like 5 years, wanting to hit every exploit I missed on my hundreds of hours of previous playthroughs. Also doing a blasters only build. Pretty sweet seeing my name pop up as Jedi Blaster or Master Blaster lol
It sure is! It is just SUPER hard to get to randomly generate. Really glad the restored content fixed that part of the game. They probably had a bunch more XP and stuff planned initially. Master Blaster is a great name lol
Thank you! It is this program called Wallpaper Engine over on Steam. It is like $4 and you get access to thousands of wallpapers. Most of them Hi-Def and a good amount of them move or have sound. There are some amazing ones on there for sure. Lots of fan made ones. There is one of Revan and Bastilla about to duel and the lightsabers have cracklin effects, really awesome. Check it out for sure!
I am using almost one for every planet plus Ebon Hawk and some characters. I am pretty sure all planet retextures can be found on Nexusmods, DeadlyStream, or DBmods. Check out the video on my channel where I show off some of the mods from Steam. These are all the retextures I have on currently. Peragus, asteroid/stars, Ebon Hawk interior and exterior, Dantooine, Nar Shaddaa, Telos, Onderon, Dxun, Korriban, Blaster retexture, Sith holocron, Visa, Handmaiden, Sion, and maybe the Bao Dur reskin could be considered a retexture. A good amount of the ones on Steam will have a link in there to the mod from another website. Retextures are my favorite mods to use cuz they give the game a much newer feel and I love exploring what the modders have done. Let me know if you a link to one and I would be happy to share it!
Robe Drip Tier List: D tiers: Padawan-- it's just brown. Boring brown. Jedi-- Similarly boring, except there's some white now. The belt is really all that's going for this. Zeison Sha Initiate-- The purple collar does not work for me. If it was a different shade of blue, or even the same shade of blue, I'd like it a lot more, but as it stands it kinda sucks. C tiers: Norris-- This is really just the worse version of the Baran Do Novice Robes-- the cream underlayer works a lot better than this saffron color. It's interesting in its badness, though, which keeps it out of D tier. Ossus Keeper-- It's just Norris Robe. The same texture. Oh well. Dark Padawan-- Black works better than brown. It's simple but effective. Baran Do Novice-- The extra redness works on some characters but not on others-- for example, Atton can pull it off but Handmaiden absolutely cannot. Baran Do Sage-- The edges of the underlayer are a little darker red. It falls into the same trap as the Baran Do Novice Robes, but the softer contrast between the outer layer and the underlayer has a bit more going for it. Dark Jedi-- Extra belt means that this one's a little better than the Dark Padawan Robe. Jal Shey Mentor-- The red really doesn't work for me, and the fact that it's infected the body of the amor also brings it down. Arca Jeth's-- Mint does not work for me, and the texture on the back of the robe is a real eyesore. B tiers: Nomi's-- This has the same problems as Arca Jeth's, but the underlayer is a bit better. Jedi Knight-- The Jedi Knight Robe is just kind of... there. It's nice, I guess, but... it's the wheat thins of drip. It's neither good nor bad, it's just okay, I guess. Darth Malak's-- This is the Jal Shey Mentor armor that commits to red. I'm not a huge fan of it, but at least this one is honest about what it's trying to be. Minus points for not being Malak's model from Kotor 1. Dark Jedi Master-- This would be a lot higher, but I think there's just too much black. It tries to add complexity to the underlayer, but really it just gets removed. Natth Cowling-- This is the same template as the Dark Jedi Master Robes, but with this weird grey and brown? I think the colors don't really go with each other, but it's better than just black. Jal Shey Neophyte-- The gray-green kinda works for me? It shouldn't really work, but it's equally okay on any character and that's worth something. Jal Shey Advisor-- I can't tell the difference between this and the Neophyte armor. Jolee's-- This robe looks... mossy. I guess that makes sense given KOTOR 1, but yuck. I find this to be a worse version of the Grey Jedi Robe. Dark Jedi Knight-- It's a lot more flexible than the Dark Jedi Robe, and the texture on the underlayer looks really nice. Succeeds where the Dark Jedi Master Robes fall a little flat. A tiers: Matukai Apprentice-- The dark green really works for me, and I like the lighter green trousers and the tall boots. Matukai Adept-- I literally can't tell the difference between this and the Makutai Apprentice Robe. Zeison Sha Warrior-- It's incredible how much changing the purple hood to blue ties this armor together. There's still purple in the body, but it's muted amongst the armor, which is a really nice touch. Gray Jedi-- This is literally just the Dark Jedi Knight Robe, but the underlayer is slightly lighter. I think it works a lot better, honestly. Thon's-- This is the Dark Jedi Master, but full brown. It works better than black, but it still lacks a bit of variety. Aleema Keto's-- This is what the Dark Jedi Master Robe should have been. It's still monochrome, which doesn't do it for me for more complex templates, butyou can more easily see what's going on, so there's more to work with and I'll give it more slack. S tiers: Crado's-- This is what I wish the Baran Do line looked like. The red is muted enough to not be overwhelming, and the texturing is incredible. The jet black collar also really works here. Jedi Master-- The brown and white absolutely work, and the extra complexity on the first layer absolutely ties the ensemble together in a way that basically every other robe in the game simply lacks. Revan's-- Need I say more? Sylvar's-- The outer layers are a nice, flexible, subtle brown that works on any character. The maroon really ties it together and gives these robes a lot of pop. Absolutely worth wearing for aesthetics alone.
The one I have doesn't exist anymore. It used to be on the Steam Workshop but for some reason was removed. Check DeadlyStream and Nexusmods. I know there are other ones out there although the stats for the robes might differ. Let me know if you can't find one and I'll find a link to one for you!
Right? I don't like using cheats if I don't have to, but sometimes it would be really nice to get some of these things right off the bat so you can enjoy what they have to offer through out the game. Sucks being a beast through Malachor and then having the game end lol
I have seen a few different videos on TH-cam about modding the game for Mac. Google pulled up a few different ones but I am unsure if they are accurate or helpful since I don't have a Mac. Happy to try and help though. Do you have the game just installed like from a regular copy or do you have the Steam Version? Which mods are you wanting to add and I can see if I can find any helpful solutions.
Im not english speaker, so to make sure about the quest with Fassa, i just kill the ithorian, use the cell to repair the speeder if i want and dont talk to fassa or touch the pylons until way later, is it it?
These ones are all from the Steam Workshop. The Bao Dur Darth Maul is by Effixian. There are a few of them. One for Bao Dur and another one if you want your main character to look like that. Then I have almost every planet retexture you can get. There are 3 different ones for Nar Shaddaa. Try them all out and see what you like. Telos 4K retexture, Onderon, Korriban, Dxun, and Dantooine also have retextures. Love the Dantooine one. Check out my other Kotor vids. I have one going over the Steam mods I have on and I do comparisons between the versions. Some really great work by the modders! Steam has some really decent ones but you find a ton more on Nexusmods.com or DeadlyStream.com. I can share the links to some of them if you need!

In my opinion, I find the Jedi Armor robes look really ugly, so I never use them even on Hard mode. I usually find KOTOR II easy enough to play through using normal Jedi robes. My personal favourite is Nomi's Robe while Thon's Robe comes in a close second. Jolee's Robe is very well-suited for Kreia since she is of Neutral allignment, though the Charisma benefit make no difference.
While i wanted to use the sith and jedi robes, they are too weak to surpass others armor that offer better stats like some of the jedi armor/light armor
@@CatDaddyGaming a pity they didn't added some robes with good stats, after all if you can get hit by lightsabers and not get dismembered ,shouldn't be too noncannon having robes with stats
Just beat the game for first time at level 27, I must have missed so many side quests and extra content. I really took my time too.. I kept waiting to get decent armor and it never came. I found the lame basic Jedi armor with a purple skirt on Telos and basically was stuck wearing it the entire game :(
in the secret tomb on korriban, in that one room with a corpse, simply repeat examine it to spawn about 40 hssiss. Farm them with force storm, death feild for health, master force drain for force points
So you never trigger him into being a merchant. You gotta complete the Fassa's Freighters quest and he will give you a high tiered reward. The item generates randomly and could be one of many many things. Best bet is to save before completing the quest that way you can reload and try again if you get something of low value or something you don't want. Unfortunately you don't get the option to choose your reward.
You should still come across some good ones as you get further in the game. I usually always get some good ones on the Ravanger. Scavengers near the Enclave usually have some decent ones too.
RN I can't decide between Jal Shey Advisor or Zeison Sha Initiate. I'm going for a Strength Sentinel this time. Zeison has 1 better defense and a +1 Strength whereas Jal Shey has wisdom and I think Charisma +1. Should I stick with strength?
Yeah if that is what you are focusing on this playthough. Wisdom and Charisma will really help out a Consular or someone focusing on Force Power casting. Strength would be what I would go for it I was doing a Strength based Sentinel.
Too bad there's not a counterpart for malak's armor but light side. Could be Jedi knight Revan's robes or armor, we had a light side revan armor in kotor 1. I also love being a light side jedi with dark jedi master robes, makes me feel like anakin from episode 3 being the black outfit jedi, and it looks badass. Fear the jedi who doesn't fear wearing black while still being in the light or neutral, cause they're the real deal.

@@CatDaddyGamingoh that’s why it didn’t work I was looking for the lev 30 achievement I ended up finishing it at 29 5000 xp short
i remember the first time i played this, the Darth Malak armor dropped in the footlocker in your room on the harbinger for me
Your Revan was like: want to be my new apprentice?, Here take the armored robe of my last pupil who I brutally murdered for betraying me.
It's really cool to see all these kotor videos. I played these games when they first came out on PC and I must have been about 12 and I still remember learning how to enable the cheats on the kotor games and the jedi knight games. I felt like a real hacker XD
I've been thoroughly enjoying these Kotor 2 videos. Keep making them on any topic
The fact you only have 850 subs should be criminal. Subbed keep up the good work
Lol thank you very much! I really do appreciate it. I'm trying real hard to push out good content so it hopefully should keep growing, even if just little by little. Comments like these keep me going! :)
I actually just recently found Malak's armor in the Mandalorian cache on Dxun, but it is in one of my LS playthrough's so I can't use it :(
I swear this game purposefully does that lol I ALWAYS find Malak's armor on my Lightside playthroughs. I sometimes come across it on my Darkside runs, but it is usually late game when I do.
mentor armor spawned im the shop of one of those duro merchants on citadel station at the beginning of the game for me
Holy shit ! Just finished my second playtrough 3 years after playing the first and i found 3 Nath cowlings robe and didn't knew it was that rare
Thank you so much! This is my first time playing KOTOR 2, very helpful!
No problem! Glad it is being helpful for your playthrough. Your gonna love it! The story and subtle humor are what keep bringing me back to it lol
Glad to have you aboard Canderous
Idk if you ever figured it out but I found your video again and decided to answer a question you had.
Robes that have an alignment requirement will automatically force you naked (lol) if you fall out of the required alignment.
You'll see your character quickly reload and now you're naked lol
That is awesome lol I will have to try it out!! Thanks for answering. I was pretty curious about that!
Much appriciated ty for the good content.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thank you for the comment. It pleases me to here you consider the content good! :)
I found Darth Malak Armor while playing LS... I didn't even knew it was so rare.
Lol I feel like the game likes to taunt you like that. I have only come across it on LS runs as well. Every time I go DS I never happen to come across it!
Thanks for this video! I’m on my second true play through and this is the best video on robes I could find.
Second RCM playthrough, I got two Thon robes, one was in the Korriban cave, and Malak's armor in the HK Factory.
Very nice! I really like the HK Factory. Mostly cause of the HK's bickering between each other but also cuz you can get some really good loot there!
So glad to have found your channel, keep it up man.
Thank you very much! Glad you are enjoying them. Currently working on a bug fix video now and then should have a few more guides lined up! :)
4:04 “oh oops, didn’t mean to show you guys my epic desktop background. Just gonna wait here for a few seconds..uh okay moving on”
Lol I like to sneak them into every video I can!
Gunslinger video plz!!! Content has been 10/10 so far
Thank you very much! This has been requested by quite a few different people. I will start working on one for sure. Was going to do one on how to build HK47 correctly but I think I will also do one on a Jedi Gunslinger like you mentioned. Thank you for the suggestion! :)
I got Darth malaks armor in the dxun hidden cashe and i was bewildered so I had to look it up
For XP farming better use T3, because he have faster animation
Genius! I hadn't considered that! That is definitely something that would help lessen the grind.
It’s my first time finding a sal shey neophyte armor before level 10 on the citadel didn’t realize the rarity, never found one in all my other play throughs .
I am kinda pissed that you can only get a lot of cool robes from only Fassa. I mean, sure, use cheats, but I play on Xbox.
Dark mode for wiki? :D great vid by the way! please more kotor content!
I have a feeling your channel is going to explode.. and it should! I fucking love your KOTOR content! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you very much! I certainly hope so, that would be super awesome. I am just glad you are loving the content. It is a real good feeling having people comment that your video helped them out in a tough spot. Hope you continue to enjoy the future content! :)
I remember getting Nomi’s robe on Malachor V on my LS play through, it certainly looks the best
lol no its ugly af
You could grind in the planet Dxun when the Sith assassins attack the Mandos camp
strange how few people knew of level 50, i have always done hississ glitch
Hissis is very advantageous, it is quite hard when your roleplaying as a lightside/universal powered Jedi
@@ITzRIDDLLA yeah, best way to do it is flop alignment after doing it as ds, even if it is a pain, gotta be efficient
I know for a fact nomi sunriders robes were available in the original Xbox version of kotor 2 no modding or cheats necessary just an insanely unlikely drop rate as I got them on my very first playthrough of the game from the cave on korriban i remember it clearly even today
I same for me
Hey really enjoyed the video I really hope you get monetised soon because a lot of work must go into these amazing vids 🙃
@@CatDaddyGaming Thank you brother, and will do!
Yeah iam always going with the jedi robes before anything also or the jedi armored with the hoodie and the cape still then everything else, I also love the krath heavy armor that purple....
ik it might seem not worthwhile but id like to see an all kotor 1 armor or weapon showcase hard to find all the images in game for them.
Malek's armor is the only jedi gear Bao-Dur can use and you and him can use them lightside. Anyone has to be darkside
Also go towards robes because I don't use STR modifier, DEX into finesse feats.
got a video on heavy, light, and medium armor??
Great job 👍 Thank you for everything you do!
Thank you very much. Its not much but its honest work lol glad you enjoy the content! That's the only goal is good quality content that is helpful. :)
Just a ridiculously high level item.
i had darth malaks armor at lvl 22 and i was very shocked
I came across a dark padawan robe on peragus on my current playthrough was on the harbringer
Got Jal Shey Armor Twice on The Harbinger.
Eric D. niiice i got that on my most recent playthrough too!
Kotor 2 developers really thought normal players could reach level 50... Bro you cant even get to 40 without bugs...
To be fair, the devs had intended to add in the HK Factory and the Droid Planet before they were told to meet the deadline. Maybe they had some other content planned but you are certainly right. Extremely hard to get above level mid 30s without exploits.
@@CatDaddyGaming makes sense actually. Damn you Lucas arts for making obsidian rush Kotor 2
So is Revan's armor just not attainable even with cheats? I can't find it in the give item on Switch.
Revans Robes are a mod. I don't believe they are in the games files.
Def a possibility going forward, but not for old games like this, that would be like pigs flying
@@CatDaddyGaming true, when it comes to pure aesthetic I would definitely pick robes myself, but I'm a sucker for stats and getting the max out of builds, so no pretty looks for me. ;-;
Question, where on Nar Shaddaa can the Jedi Master Robe be found?
Randomly generated as loot. Try merchants also.
How do you get the Jedi Master Robe from Fassa?
So you mentioned there are quests other than helping Fassa that drops a rare item, is there a list of these quests?
I wouldn't know off the top of my head. The Strategy Wiki or some forums might point you in the right direction.
Got ossus robe from Queen of Onderon. Best robe I quess.

Didn't knew about that random generation items until my current game in the 360

Also, the male character is glitched at Peragus after T3 releases the entrance to the mining tunnels
@@condedepiamonte93 What do mean glitched? Like a cutscene or the male character animation? Wouldn't be too surprised though, I have run into quite a few weird bugs in the game lol
@@CatDaddyGaming well, I found at some forums that after T3 is blasted by HK-50, the game crashes and can't move forward, only for the male Exile
The cutscene of the talk between Atton and the Exile does not play
Saddly enough, the Xbox Bazar has the unfixed version of the game, which I purchased
@@condedepiamonte93 Damn! Hopefully you can get passed it. I know in the Xbox version, sometimes if you start a new playthrough you don't experience the same bugs all the time but that would suck to lose all your progress you have made.
the Jal Shey armours has drip tho
I give the Ossus Keeper Robes to Deciple/Handmaiden. It just seems right to do so.
On the farming of mine placement and pick up XP could you do this in Telos between the two areas?
Yes you certainly can! That is one of the places I usually do it when I am looking for some extra XP. As long as you load into an area and then load back to where the mines are, that should be enough to trick the game into giving you XP for recovering the mines.
@@CatDaddyGaming If I do that with a follower all characters get xp. Is that right?
@@gm2407 Yes I believe so. Not sure if they get less XP or the same, but I am pretty confident that the XP distributes to all other companions.
I wish they'd add both the Jedi and Dark Jedi robes to SWTOR.
The squiggly line is called a Tilde.
Dude, sick wallpaper
I am curious, what retextures are you using for the areas? Are they only available on the Steam Workshop?
Robe Drip Tier List:
D tiers:
Padawan-- it's just brown.
C tiers:
Norris-- This is really just the worse version of the Baran Do Novice Robes-- the cream underlayer works a lot better than this saffron color.
B tiers:
Nomi's-- This has the same problems as Arca Jeth's, but the underlayer is a bit better.
A tiers:
Matukai Apprentice-- The dark green really works for me, and I like the lighter green trousers and the tall boots.
S tiers:
Crado's-- This is what I wish the Baran Do line looked like.
Also, Dark Side attire gives a +10 to Fashion.
Lol could not agree more!!!
Which side u like better darkside or light side?
Darkside for sure! Maybe that's cuz I am not Darksided in real life so I can get it out of my system lol
I’ve never gotten Malek’s armor.
Try playing with TSLRCM. Comes around way easier with the mod!
What's the mod you used to get revans robe???? Could I maybe get a link or something I have been wanting it so bad.
The one I have doesn't exist anymore. It used to be on the Steam Workshop but for some reason was removed. Check DeadlyStream and Nexusmods. I know there are other ones out there although the stats for the robes might differ. Let me know if you can't find one and I'll find a link to one for you!
I've only gotten all the end game stuff once I'm at Malachor which sucks
Right? I don't like using cheats if I don't have to, but sometimes it would be really nice to get some of these things right off the bat so you can enjoy what they have to offer through out the game. Sucks being a beast through Malachor and then having the game end lol
do you know any good videos on how to install these mods on a mac?
I have seen a few different videos on TH-cam about modding the game for Mac. Google pulled up a few different ones but I am unsure if they are accurate or helpful since I don't have a Mac. Happy to try and help though. Do you have the game just installed like from a regular copy or do you have the Steam Version? Which mods are you wanting to add and I can see if I can find any helpful solutions.
Im not english speaker, so to make sure about the quest with Fassa, i just kill the ithorian, use the cell to repair the speeder if i want and dont talk to fassa or touch the pylons until way later, is it it?
What mods are you using, like for the Bo Durr re-skin or the nicer look for the areas you’re in
These ones are all from the Steam Workshop.
@@CatDaddyGaming Thanks a ton, I’ve been very interested in mods lately, I love the idea of having things look cooler and different and also just getting the better stuff and better scenes in the game
@@froginatophat1042 I totally understand. Mods breathe new life into old games. Sometimes they can offer you an entirely new experience! Mods are my favorite part of PC gaming!
The duro guy on telos was selling Aleema Ketos armor lol. Not too rare to me!
For real? That's crazy I had hardly ever come across them before. Are you rocking TSLRCM?
CatDaddy Gaming I do have restored content yes. But I got it once without it as well
@@Hashslinging_25 I thought that would explain it lol but not for when you didn't have it on. I only started seeing those high tier ones after I started using the restored content. Perhaps the odds were just in your favor that game lol
Right you are! Makes sense that cloth would be way less defensive than armor but they just look so cool that I can't pass up wearing them lol
How do you trigger Fassa as a merchant I'm on my 2nd playthrough & still haven't had the opportunity to purchase anything from him ?
So you never trigger him into being a merchant. You gotta complete the Fassa's Freighters quest and he will give you a high tiered reward. The item generates randomly and could be one of many many things. Best bet is to save before completing the quest that way you can reload and try again if you get something of low value or something you don't want. Unfortunately you don't get the option to choose your reward.
great video!!!
Thank you very much!
Does the regen force points bonus from robes stack with the feat?
Yes I am pretty sure those 2 do work together.
I wish I watched this before selling out samhan dobo I didn’t realize he sold robes
You should still come across some good ones as you get further in the game. I usually always get some good ones on the Ravanger. Scavengers near the Enclave usually have some decent ones too.
I am gonna buy it when I get my gamepad so I can play without dragging my fingers
You can easy get Jedi Robe in cargo on Ebon Hawk
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video
Thank you!!
