Lol why thank you! I am very glad the video was helpful and no my friend, you are the legend! Very detailed breakdown! I pinned the comment so it will be first for others to see. I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate this comment! :)
@@CatDaddyGaming Thank you, I am honored 😂 Honestly I just did it so I would be able to refer to the video more easily but I am sure others will find it useful too. Thanks for the video again 😎
@@CatDaddyGaming By the way, I couldn't get the influence point to work where you force persuade Saquesh to release Adana on Nar Shaddaa... I tried it with Handmaiden, Atton and Bao Dur (as male exile) in my party and it didn't trigger an influence gain with any of them. Is this one specific to the female exile, or could it also have to do with the fact that I am running the game vanilla without the restored content mod?
Not sure about that. I would say it is very likely that TSLRCM could have put that into the game and it was accidently pulled out when rushing to release.
usually, when I go for a light side playthough, I make 1 darkside choice and that is on the telos station, breaking into that locker where the man storms in and you kill him in "self defense". this gets you 1 influence trigger with Atton (and kreia, but you lose with her, which is what you also want as a light sider) and is enough, along with all that other stuff on nar shaddaa and the telos ice academy to turn him into a jedi without doing much, just repair the speeder and you are done. that 1 dip into darkside is nothing. killing the man in the telos station also loses you influense with Kreia, which is what you want as lightside, you want her to be as low as possible. You see, the way it works is that +30 influence is the same as -30, but instead of mirroing you, they will be the opposite. this is why you want to be violent with T3-M4 and lose as much influence as possible as a dark side user. As a dark side user, it's pretty easy to gain influense with Kreia, but not as light side, so don't try juggling trying to be light side and pleasing Kreia, its not worth it. Kreia will always be neutral anyway, its not worth the hassle. the same with HK-47, as a light side user, just lose as much as possible, you will gain access to the same dialog options as if you gained them.
So... if I were to lose influence with HK-47 until it is -30, it will still allow me to talk to him about Revan? I'm just having a difficult time rationalizing the fact that losing influence can get you the dialogue option that you would usually share with your close ones.
I don't even bother Building HK. A lot of people like him, but I pretty much just run Handmaiden, Visas, Mira, and Canderous. HK isn't as good as Canderous at shooting, or as durable, and 3 Jedi are always better.
@@bladestar2322If you complete dialogue with HK47, you'll get +1CONST, +1WISD, +1Reflex and +10 Force Points. That cumulates quickly with bonuses from other companions. -Completing dialogue with T3 grants YOU +1Wisd and +10 Force Points (and T3 receives +2 Const, +2Int, +2Dex) -Completing dialogue with Hanharr gives YOU at least +1Con and +1Wis and additionally an option for either +2Wis or alternatively +2Str and +1cons. (Hanharr gets +1Const and as many times as you want (+2Str and -2Int) -Mira just gives you grenades and dark/light side options (No XP, no stats, skills nor feats.) -Visas gives 500XP, 10 Force Points and the ability Force Sight. -Handmaiden can teach you battle precognition (Add you Wisd-Modifier to your defense when wearing no armor or jedi robes) -Atton: +1Willpower save
Playing TSL RCM and for me, the part with Akkere's Hydrospanner (12:12) results in an influence gain with Atton, Bao-Dur; influence neutral with Mira, Handmaiden; and influence negative with Visas and Kreia.
I love how thorough you are with the influence gains in this video, I am both amazed and impressed as well as horrified 😂 especially concerning the dark side influences 😂 this is great stuff
I will definitely look into this. I have been very fond of the droids companions lately. They have pulled me out of some of the tougher spots lol I have another few videos in the works but I will definitely look more into this and put it at the top of my list!
@@MrEffectfilms The droids are worthless, but the uses I found for G0-T0 is security item creation, and sneaking into Mandalore's room. You could absolutely do this with other companions, but you might have to waste skills or feats that G0-T0 comes with by default.
I love this game and the first Knights of the Old Republic. I've played them both and beat them multiple times since I was 11 (KOTOR) and 12 (KOTOR II)
Also on Telos you can escort Czerka salvage team member to exit from military base. This will gain you LS points and influence on Atton or Bao-Dur. Don`t know how Kreia will react, but you can temporary remove her from party if you want.
Not just one of the two of them, but if Bao-Dur or Atton are the only party member with no 2nd party member present (which means having Kreia isn't allowed...)
Hell yeah!! I went to sit in my car to check Soc-meed and I saw the tag that said 5houra ago CatDaddyGaming I was like this is gonna be a sick KOTOR 2 video
Lol well thank you! It makes me super happy that you saw the vid notification and thought that! I try super hard to make them with information so they are not boring lol
@@CatDaddyGaming nahh I watch/ listen to your vids while I'm driving for long hours, I deliver auto glass windshields overnight you see. So I'll literally watch your vids and play Kotor the next using what ive learned haha. I'm telling you man a lightsaber upgrades highlight real would be awesome! I've beaten Kotor 1 probably 6 six times since I was like 13 and with Kotor2 there's just a much greater amount of replayability. More possible outcomes, more probabilities, and so much that could go unknown if you don't take the time to talk or double check, even in the original version of the game. I'm trying to get Hanhaar and G0-T0 to open up to me on my Darkside playthrough. I went to Dantooine to get my lightsaber, then went to Nar Shadaa , now I'm on Dxun collecting prestige for the Mandalore to take me to Onderon. I really like the Mandalorians, so I always take Mandalore to collect the strays from N.S. and Dantooine. The only Mandalorian I justify killing is the one in the Dxun jungle that got trapped by the permacrete detonator. I kill him for in influence with Hanhaar.
@@cosinguspalpatine4449 I will definitely look into it. You make some very good points. All of that sound super awesome. I need to do that myself. I have only gotten through every dialogue option with just a few people. They really did an amazing job with the backstories cuz they are actually engaging. I love the different amount of paths you can go and the story that goes with it. I am still finding new stuff in the game. I do plan on playing Kotor 1 again over the next few weekends so I can refresh myself on the story since it has been a while for me and that game. I always keep coming back to this game tho!!
Yo! Something really interesting to note, there’s actually a secret influence gain with Atton on Dxun and it’s super weird! (at least on the original version of the TSL on the Xbox, I’ve never played TSLRCM) Ok, so it only works if you play lightside female, and I’m not sure if this has the potential to happen anywhere else but it only works if you have Disciple in your party; during that moment with Kumus up on the ridge, once you save him Mical will engage in conversation with you, asking why you would save a Mandalorian after the war. If you respond with “no one deserves to die like that” you gain influence with Disciple. However, if you respond with “they aren’t my enemies anymore” you gain influence with Atton, despite him being back at the ship. Super strange, it took me by surprise when it happened.
I see you use the same HUD Mod that I do. It's super nice isn't it. BTW - thanks for this. I already personally know most of these locations but for those who don't this tutorial is gonna be so useful.
I love it! It is one of my favorite mods. Very sleek and nice looking. And no problem! There were a few of the Onderon ones I didn't know worked with other companions cuz I usually bring HK with me to encounter the 2 sets of HK50s lol
Magnificent video! Looking through was really fun. At 7:25 I had absolutely no idea. Probably one of the only spots you can gain dark side points and influence with Disciple (I only know of two others.). At 11:00, I know that's also a Kreia influence spot (pretty fortunate considering she is hard to influence as LS). I also had no idea about some of the Onderon ones (like Ponlar). On my last playthrough, I discovered the Mira one with Anda. It should be good for DS players looking to influence her. There's also a Mira opportunity on Dxun when you encounter the Zhugs. Although it is pretty minor. Anyways, great video! I sure hope you'll do more!!
Thank you very much for the kind words! I felt the same way. I was looking through the IGN guide I linked in the description. It is from like 10 or 15 years ago lol I decided I had to test a bunch of them cuz I was seeing ones I never heard of and also knew of some that the guide didn't cover. I didn't know about the Disciple one on Nar Shaddaa either. I usually hit Nar Shaddaa first and hardly brought Disciple there with me. I am really glad you enjoyed it! Hoping to have some more out in the coming weeks!
Lol thank you very much! I am really glad you enjoyed it. I laughed my ass off when I was making it. It is very low quality made so I decided not to run with it but perhaps I will sneak it into a few more videos. I really like the "lyrics" I came up with but I feel the kazoo leaves more to be desired lol
After my first playthrough I was a little confused. I was able to raise my influence on Visas, the Handmaiden and Mira all through dialouge. I even got Mira to embrace the force. But Atton and Bao-Dur? Well Atton played Pazak with me, but Bao-Dur had absolute no options anymore after he build a lightsaber for me. And I thought: Poor Obidian. Again not enough time to develop the game :D
So true! What could have been if they were given the right amount of time. Yeah Bao Dur definitely wants to see you help people to raise his influence. Trigger some of these spots with him and eventually you will get more dialogue with him. Usually takes about 2 or 3 but occasionally it will take an extra one or 2. I usually do him or Atton first on Nar Shaddaa then I can take my time talking to all the others since just dialogue will do the trick!
Bao-dur gets influence if you escort the Tweelik all the way out of the Czerka base on the planet Telos. Kreia will admonish you for taking the time to do it.
I don't bother wasting influence gain spots on handmaiden as the only thing you need to do is train 3 times with her, then you can convert her to Jedi, so don't bother with her until you are level 18 besides talking to her on the ship and make sure to have her influence higher than Visas at least until after you have converted her, then it is safe to gain with visas. With Mira, you can convert her right away after you leave nar shaddaa just by talking to her and going through all the speech options, just like the disciple, or so I'm told. If not, just use the couple of ones on nar shaddaa for Mira on Mira and it should work. in my earlier play through, I usually converted Mira after Duxun/onderon as there are a few Mira spots there and after, you will have enough to convert her, this is the easiest if you don't want to bother with all the speech option stuff
There's also 2 quick easy ones on telos for Atton, will get you dark side points, go rob the second apartment in the be complex and then kill the guy and it will trigger atton and tell him he did the right thing, and then when you're going to get your weapons back go kill the mercenaries outside the cantina then turn on and kill the guy you just helped and it will gain atton influence
This really is the double edged knife of the game, i like converting them but keeping track of where all these moments are is a pain, especially atton i miss that one on Telos every time
You know Catdaddy. I was subscribed to you suddenly I’m not :( I reupped though! But anyway!!! How I wish you were around when I converted to full PC with Kotor 2. Your guides are amazing. All I had release day was my wit and a few weeks later a prima guide lol
Also, when you raid the military base on Telos' surface, you can escort the Czerka mercenary to the entrance. You can gain some influence with Atton, but make sure Kreia is not in your party as you will lose influence with her.
On a Dark Side run I just take G0-T0, Hanhaar, Mandalore, And HK-47 everywhere because they appreciate my jerk efforts. I'm just a jerk to everyone else because it's really funny. HK-47 is the best ally if you're Dark side. He has so much great dialouge.
I agree with you 100%! HK is a must have companion if you are going darkside. Lightside playthroughs are fun and all but it's the darkside runs that keep me coming back lol
Holy fuck I've got 4 headaches now!!! I just want money, power, & a great fight! I just want to be a Mandalorian Knight! Why can't everybody just be a jedi from the start😭 Jesus Christ!!! Love the video👍 (Proceeds to like the video, Subscribe, & start ANOTHER new game)
@14:20 When I got to this point, the force persuade option wasn't available. Did anyone else experience this glitch? I'm playing Kotor 2 on my Xbox. Is there a way to avoid this outcome or a way to fix this?
@@CatDaddyGaming on that save I had at least 21 pts in persuade, maybe 22. Is that too low for that event? I ended up discarding that save and loaded an earlier save so I can have more points in persuade.
@PoppaShmoop Found a lot of forums citing this exact issue but no certain fixes. I've seen several mentions that it only works with affect mind and not dominate mind. If that is true the it would be a vanilla version problem and most likely correct with TSLRCM.
Agreed! Especially if you are going Darkside. He has many throughout the game too! I really enjoy having Atton in the party. My favorite thing about him is that he gets up after being knocked down and still tries to pull his weight. A true teammate lol
I think we need a negative influence guide, too. Because you can get all the same benefits with negative influence. (Though I guess this guide counts as a negative influence guide by doing the inverse of what's advised here.)
I think for the amospheric sensors quest for bao dur if you have computer use you can crack the sensor open. Bao dur will then compliment you and then you get the influence. (I think)
Not really. I mean it is still there to get if you just want to have high influence with a companion, but I don't think it has any other benefits. Once I get a companion converted I usually stop trying to gain influence with them. Cool to still be able to get, but I just wanted it so I could convert them lol
If I recall correctly, in the original PC version of the game, with the exception of Bao-Dur, you can just talk to your companion onboard the Ebon Hawk on specific planets. For example, you have to be on Nar Shardaa for for the influence triggers on Mira and Atton, however, you need to trigger an event where someone mentions to you that Atton is not all he seems to be. Handmaiden/Disciple can be done on the Ebon Hawk on any planet. Bao-Dur is location specific.
I have done Bao Dur on the Ebon Hawk before. I don't think I have sparred with him not on the Ebon Hawk. The Twi'Leks in the refugee sector are the ones who tell you about Atton. I think you can do Disciple anywhere. I have converted him in the room you meet him in. Handmaiden does have to be on the Ebon Hawk cuz I believe that is the only place she will spar with you.
you missed 1 influence place in the Exchnage base on telos if you murder the receptionist kreja will talk bullshit to you tell her to f off and Atton will gain influence
so I'm currently doing a playthrough as male and following what your posted here and the lightside video to turn all my companions to Jedi and see if I can with Atton, Bao-dur, and Handmaiden before leaving for the Jekk Jekk Tarr. having to backtrack out of the Refugee sector is annoying to change companions and out of three tries with the dying man (once Bao-dur solo, other two with T3) only once did I get the influence gain conservation. Are there certain tasks down to negate getting the conversation before curing the man? Also, what triggers the Red eclipse part because as soon as that happens, you can't change out party even if you weren't finished with all the Jedi influence stuff.
I believe it has to do with the squid guy in the refugee sector, if you don't progress with him or the docks part then the Red Eclipse shouldn't trigger. It's possible once the old owner of the Ebon Hawk encounters you, then the Red Eclipse are coming in but I haven't experimented or tested this theory.
Hey CatDaddyGaming, what about a video showcasing all the lightsaber fighting forms and the force regeneration form? I know some are restricted to certain classes. Like I have a lightside Jedi watchman from a few years ago that I realized had the Form VI Niman, but my playthrough from the last two months never learned Niman (I'm already headed to malachor) but learned for VII Juyo. Also I'm pretty sure that only the Sith Lord/Jedi Master prestit classes have the extra force forms besides Force Channel.
I have that one my to do list! It is like the 3rd one down so hopefully I will get around to doing it sometime soon. I have a few more vids I have already started on. I thought about adding those into the Beginners Guide that I made but that thing was already packed full of information, so figured it might be better to make a separate video for them. Thanks for the suggestions though. I do have that one on my radar for sure!
I am not totally sure. I think you need to have some points into awareness to get it to trigger. I have also heard from a bunch of people that even with awareness leveled up, they still couldn't get that part to trigger. I think this is one of those mostly bugged options where sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't lol
can i do the telos (jedi academy) influence gain for atton in the ebon hawk? i accidentally put kreia in my team instead of atton and now i can't change my team
Was it during your second encounter with the crowd? The first encounter won't give you very much to do, but come back after going to Dhagon Ghents and you should get it to pop up. Also have you put any points into the Persuade skill?
@@rangosteel4071 Interesting. Not to hard to imagine though. Small little bugs pop up in all sorts of places. Hopefully you can still get through your playthrough. I have had to restart entire playthroughs before due to similar bugs! :(
While attempting to influence Atton on the Ebon Hawk, I asked him about his Echani training and I accidentally persuaded him, but I said he was an asset right afterwards. So I got a - influence and a + influence, so this doesn't effect my chances at turning him into a Jedi, correct? I did his + influences on Paragus, and I plan to do his influence in the refugee sector as well as the speeder on Mar Shadaa. This should still allow him to become a Jedi, yes?
Yeah you should still have plenty of influence spots left to get. Usually 3 will do the trick. Yeah that plus one minus one just cancels out. Speeder for sure and then he has that one special spot on Dantooine with the old man if you need one specifically for him and want to save the others for someone else. If you haven't gotten too far past that you could always reload and do it again! If you got the 2 on the Harbinger, that speeder should hopefully be the last one you need.
I failed the dialogue trick for Mira.. i'm also done with the 1st 2 planets narshada and the small one beside where you'll get mandalore.. now can I still make Mira a Jedi? Where can I trigger it in dandooine? I'm playing neutral side btw
Best thing you can do is save very often in different slots so you can go back and load in before mistakes. There are still a few spots on Dantooine you can get influence for her.
@@CatDaddyGaming yeah I managed to up her influence near khandoon, think it was the lying vendor. But I'm arguing wether the make her a Jedi or not cuz she's really good with blasters. Yeah thanks I'd created a separate save too lol.. maybe you can make a companion build vid in the future if you haven't got one yet cheers 🍺
Man, I haven't been able to gain influence with the Handmaiden even *with* this guide. I do these things and it ends up not affecting her. She's the only one in my party. Reason for trying to get influence is because she's very mad at me because I'm being chill with Visas, so I decided to load an earlier save before I spoke with her (she'd still be technically mad, I just haven't talked to her yet) and try to gain influence so she won't be mad.
I cant any influence on any characters after I get the sensors for some reason. Maybe it's for a different version idk. But I'm still trying to get influence with Bao-Dur and Handmaiden
I stopped getting notifications that Atton gained influence but I haven't gotten any extra dialog options other than when he teaches you to play Pazaak or when he interacts with other companions on the ship. Is my game broken? Edit: He was the only member of my party at the time.
@@asiansittingduck-2427 Yes, heavily modded! Mostly retextures or visual updates but I do have some added content. I also enjoy the fun add on ones. I have one where you can kill the Ithorian that is in the Force cage in the Czerka place in the Citadel Station. Little mods like that are the best!

Nice! I am so glad they made that game backwards compatible. Maybe it is the vanilla version or maybe even the Xbox One port. I also have my OG Xbox Disc copy still but it is fairly scratched.
Sometimes a good ol reload save point can fix little bugs, but not always! You talking about the mechanic one? Where you have to do persuade and not force persuade? Maybe your awareness or persuade isn't high enough for all the dialogue to pop up. Is it giving you the "awareness" option when responding to the "why so busy" line?
@@CatDaddyGaming Yeah I get the [awareness] having a lot on his shoulders and then the [persuade] bottled up option then just talks about turrets and doors
@@Friendo351 Interesting. It should trigger for you with all that. This game is known for its many many bugs so it could just be the game being weird. Luckily there are many other spots to get influence with him. As long as you don't lose a ton of influence with him you should come across enough gain spots to still get him influenced fully. Keep him with you in the party and you will trigger them saving people or even killing them. Atton is a yes man and is the easiest to get influence with.
There is another dark side influence gain with Atton on Telos. You can kill the receptionist during the mission with going after Lopak Slusk. Just don't have Kreia with you or you'll lose influence with her.
@@CatDaddyGaming If I remember right there is one more for Atton, but on the Telos restoration zone. However you'll automatically lose influence with Bao-Dur since he has to be with you. Instead of helping the Twi'lek escape, you can kill him instead.

I think most of us have gained full positive influence with all characters Has anyone gained full negative influence and turned them into jedi/dark jedi? (I just finally did it myself for the first time with disciple) Also, has anyone been a lightside Jedi that everyone hates? So you're lightside and everyone on the ship is darkside just because they hate you? (Gonna try that at some point)
Lol that's the best compliment I've ever received! So this is a tough one. There are forums back from 2005 where players state it does effect influence but I've never come across hard proof. Even with very low or starting influence, conversations and choices will still trigger influence no matter what. Like saving or killing certain NPCs always award influence with certain companions. So I believe the answer is no, it does not affect influence for companions. The only possibility of that being the case is maybe CHA increases influence point number awarded. And you would need 4 influence gains instead of 5 to reach 100 influence. But I have not tested this to confirm.
@@Fbispook No problem, happy to help if YT notifies me of the comment lol CHA is super good for Force Power builds and what not. Essential if you want to be Dark Side and use Heal or Light Side and use Force Storm. But don't get it just for companion influence.
You can make them Jedi with loosing influence, but they will be the opposite of your alignment. Example, if you're DS and keep loosing influence with Atton, he will become LS Jedi. Both gain and loosing influence have effect in this game.
I will have to experiment more with this. Once I have enough influence for conversation unlocks I usually don't bother too much more with influence. I have heard of this before but never tried it out. Guess I know what I am doing this weekend! XD
@@CatDaddyGaming Actually in this game, loosing influence is the same as gaining influence, it only effect companions alignment except Kreia that always neutral and how the companions think about you. I mean you will unlock special dialogues the same when reaching influence lost meter.

That really sucks to hear. This game can have some crazy ass bugs. Usually don't hear of them being that bad though. What version of the game are you playing on? Steam or Disc? Maybe you are missing a patch file or something. When running my Steam version I use the workshop mods since they are easy to install. I also play with my disc version and I use mods mostly from Deadlystream.com for that version. Hope you can get it working. Those parts of the restored content are super fun. Run any other mods too or just TSLRCM? I've tacked on a few mods before that have broken my game but I was able to narrow down exactly which mod was causing issues luckily.
@@CatDaddyGaming I use other mods with it yes mostly texture overhauls skip peragus them sort of mods and also vibrosabers all are from the steam workshop too
@@scottmetcalfe4366 Interesting! Maybe one of them is messed up. Usually when I have issues in the game it is cuz of one mod acting weird. I know most modders stay away from Steam Workshop due to the mods not being updated as frequently
I did my first two playthroughs years ago without any guides and only managed to influence 2 into Jedi at most. Handmaiden and Atton in the first game as a Lightsider, absolutely no one as a Darksider. Needless to say, it was pretty tough just moving through the story.
That is how I was beating the game when I first started playing it. Always had to ask my brother for help on where to go and what to say. Definitely more challenging doing it that way. Kudos to you though for getting through it. You will have to give it another playthrough and get them all converted. Pretty cool feeling when you have to split the party and both 3 man teams are all Jedi lol
Did you know that negative influence is essentially the same as positive? You get similar dialogue options and progress like you would if you were gaining influence, while losing it, with the exception of Handmaiden, who will refuse to speak for the rest of the game under certain circumstances.
I am aware you can do this but I haven't really experimented with it too much. Might have to give it a whirl. I have majorly pissed off Handmaiden a few times by accident lol but usually I steer clear of making my companions start nagging cuz then they just annoy me!
This is especially helpful to know for Sith players. If you need someone with light side powers while playing the scumbag run, dissing the Republic is a good way to make the Disciple on the light side. So you can still make him a Jedi Consular even after pushing him away emotionally, and thus a good healer. Just don't do this with Briana because she'll get pissed off if you don't treat her well, especially after Visas is aboard. For Light Siders, this doesn't matter much, at least tactically. Atton and Visas are fine with whatever you do as long as you treat them well, so you're very likely to have them within your alignment. Kreia wants you to be smart about things rather than completely altruistic or completely cruel, but regardless stays neutral. Since the Droids don't use force powers, their alignment doesn't matter, so bore them away with your mostly pacifistic altruism. Except T3; he wants you to be nice.
@@WillieManga so I’ve never seen this before on video or Ingame, can you still train a negative influence companion in the ways of the force? Like Mical or bao -dur can hate you but still accept training. It seems backwards enough to get them to tell you things about them that usually require a positive relationship let alone accept training while on the OPPOSITE force alignment of you and basically hating all your actions.
@@lI-SunBro-II While I have done so with Mical, I find it hard to get Bao Dur to be any sort of Jedi. I know it's possible even without the Restored Content Mod, but it's a challenge to do so with how glitchy the game is. Damn it, Lucasfilm...
For the record, u can kill the mechanic without getting dark side points. Just refuse to hear him out first and say ur turning him in. It’ll still get the kill, and influence with atton, but no DS points
@@CatDaddyGaming sure thing, unless it’s just a bug that my game has every play through, that’s how I always get the extra set of charges without dark side points. Cuz ur “upholding the law” the rigid jedi way, I guess the game doesn’t count it as dark side.
No matter who I bring with Kreia to Lootra, she doesn't nag but she praise me "That was well executed - you used his own doubt to foster trust and reliance. perhaps you are learning much in the flow of Nar Shaddaa" and she's taking all the f Influence. I tire, Im so tired of this :(
Kreia is super greedy with the influence. I feel they did this on purpose that way if you brought her along, the "Master" was always teaching the Padawan. Best bet is to just remove her from the party before you start the dialogue. Then other companion gets influence, and then you can add her back in.
@@CatDaddyGaming No Kreia = No Influence to anyone :( no matter Difficulty Easy or Pheromone Package, Regal Visor. Another factor could be Kreia's prior gained Influences, I think I've pumped her ego a little and she's kinda friendly now. Can't reverse that in this game and I need the Lightsaber now. I try to be a good guy for one week and look what happens.
@@tricisport8259 Just rewatched that segment to make sure I knew what I was talking about. Forgot you need Kreia for one portion. If your bringing Kreia with you have to make sure to stand up for the companions and say there is nothing you wouldn't do for your allies. This will piss Kreia off and give the influence to the other companion. You should still also be able to get influence there without Kreia. You need to make sure you say the lightsided thing and say something about holding onto strength. Only other scenario where you would get no influence no matter what is if the companion had max influence already, but the cutscene for it would still trigger.
for anyone who this happened to with Atton and his echanni training i had to lose 1 influence with Atton and then I was able to get 2 or 3 influence with him also Im on the base Xbox version no RCM ( will be adding more to this if find anything that messed with my run on the xbox) Well this is not really a glitch its just a tip with the military dude on dantooine when you first talk to him, if you don't have Bao-Dur in your party when you talk to him, when you get to the actual spot where you find the sensors Bao-Dur wont say anything. This is a problem I had a lot with handmaiden where no matter how much influence I got with her I couldn't trigger her final influence need conversation to turn her into a Jedi so the youtuber Renaxerus has a video to glitch any companion into a Jedi you I just use this to speed up handmaidens Jedi process, and yes eventually you will be able to get handmaidens robes through conversation
When you offer to train him in the ways of the force he will spar with you. Might have to sit through the whole cutscene of them meditating. If you convert him before you get a lightsaber it will leave out the lightsaber sparring scene, but if have crafted your first one, Bao Dur will magically get one to spar with you but he won't have it after the sparring scene.
Don't use Atton enough to convert him, and prefer Bao Due as a Mechanic to make me stuff. Also don't use him. I keep Atton's levels, armor and equipment up until the bar fight, don't use him after I get Handmaiden and Visis.
Fun fact, they actually intended for Han Harr to be a Jedi but LucasArts shot the idea down. Some code in the game remains from the devs planning on it. File names and such. There are mods out there that enable him to be turned Jedi though. There also was an original Xbox glitch you could perform to make it happen. Pretty sure it broke the game at some point though lol
i remember when i playing this game for the 1st time i just give auto lvl up and didn't care about influence or knowing to making my companions into Jedi until the end, ik it's fucking messed up lol
You can convert them no matter what your gender is. Only difference will be if you get Handmaiden or Disciple. In my lightside companion guide I convert Atton and Bao Dur as a male character. Same steps either way, just gotta get those influence gains with them.
So right at the entrance of the harbinger you can gain an influence gain with Kreia just by doing some ass kissing. I choose this over the first Atton influence because I like to see that vicious scene of Kreia getting beat up by Darth Sion 😉 then I still use the second Harbinger influence opportunity on Atton. Remember Atton is basically El Chapo and loved murdering a bunch of the citizens on Telos so lots of influence opportunities there.

Telos: Killing the Thugs and the Victim infront of the cantina.
Not sure about that. I would say it is very likely that TSLRCM could have put that into the game and it was accidently pulled out when rushing to release.
Influence Gained: Kreia
Influence Lost: Kreia
Yeah classic Kreia experience
Siding to the characters in dialogue to gain influence to then turn them to what is better for you? Kreia is proud!
Influence Gained: Kreia
Influence Lost: Handmaiden
usually, when I go for a light side playthough, I make 1 darkside choice and that is on the telos station, breaking into that locker where the man storms in and you kill him in "self defense". this gets you 1 influence trigger with Atton (and kreia, but you lose with her, which is what you also want as a light sider) and is enough, along with all that other stuff on nar shaddaa and the telos ice academy to turn him into a jedi without doing much, just repair the speeder and you are done. that 1 dip into darkside is nothing. killing the man in the telos station also loses you influense with Kreia, which is what you want as lightside, you want her to be as low as possible.
@@bladestar2322 yeah HK-47 kinda sucks against Mandalore and it's obvious when you play HK Factory. Mandalore best shooter and powerful melee fighter.
@@bladestar2322If you complete dialogue with HK47, you'll get +1CONST, +1WISD, +1Reflex and +10 Force Points. That cumulates quickly with bonuses from other companions.
-Completing dialogue with T3 grants YOU +1Wisd and +10 Force Points (and T3 receives +2 Const, +2Int, +2Dex)
-Completing dialogue with Hanharr gives YOU at least +1Con and +1Wis and additionally an option for either +2Wis or alternatively +2Str and +1cons. (Hanharr gets +1Const and as many times as you want (+2Str and -2Int)
-Mira just gives you grenades and dark/light side options (No XP, no stats, skills nor feats.)
-Visas gives 500XP, 10 Force Points and the ability Force Sight.
-Handmaiden can teach you battle precognition (Add you Wisd-Modifier to your defense when wearing no armor or jedi robes)
-Atton: +1Willpower save
Playing TSL RCM and for me, the part with Akkere's Hydrospanner (12:12) results in an influence gain with Atton, Bao-Dur; influence neutral with Mira, Handmaiden; and influence negative with Visas and Kreia.
I love how thorough you are with the influence gains in this video, I am both amazed and impressed as well as horrified 😂 especially concerning the dark side influences 😂 this is great stuff
Can you make a video about the uses for T3-M4, HK-47, and G0-T0?
I will definitely look into this. I have been very fond of the droids companions lately. They have pulled me out of some of the tougher spots lol I have another few videos in the works but I will definitely look more into this and put it at the top of my list!
Lol what uses?
@@CatDaddyGaming please make this video
@@MrEffectfilms The droids are worthless, but the uses I found for G0-T0 is security item creation, and sneaking into Mandalore's room. You could absolutely do this with other companions, but you might have to waste skills or feats that G0-T0 comes with by default.
Thanks for these guides this awesome good to see this game still getting love
I love this game and the first Knights of the Old Republic. I've played them both and beat them multiple times since I was 11 (KOTOR) and 12 (KOTOR II)
This opens sooooooo many new roads to a play through
Two years later and you are always my go-to whenever I start a new play-through! You are the 🐐!!!
I very much appreciate the kind words! I am just happy the video and information as being useful!
Also on Telos you can escort Czerka salvage team member to exit from military base. This will gain you LS points and influence on Atton or Bao-Dur. Don`t know how Kreia will react, but you can temporary remove her from party if you want.
Kreia scolds you for being a goody two shoes if you do so.
This will only work if only one of the two of them is in the party, otherwise you only get LS points...
Not just one of the two of them, but if Bao-Dur or Atton are the only party member with no 2nd party member present (which means having Kreia isn't allowed...)
7:56 I can confirm this works for Mira too - you basically have to not even enter the room and finish the main story on Nar Shaddaa then come back.
@@CatDaddyGaming Regardless, cheers mate. Made me learn some new stuff and methods for future playthroughs with my companions. Keep it up lad.
First time watching, I subbed just because of the intro.
This really is the double edged knife of the game, i like converting them but keeping track of where all these moments are is a pain, especially atton i miss that one on Telos every time
Thanks to this and the Achilles influence guide, I have now successfully turned all the Lost Jedi into the Lost Dark Jedi
Thank you so much for helping me understand this wonderful game much better ❤
You know Catdaddy. I was subscribed to you suddenly I’m not :( I reupped though!
But anyway!!! How I wish you were around when I converted to full PC with Kotor 2. Your guides are amazing. All I had release day was my wit and a few weeks later a prima guide lol
@13:22 if you accidentally set off the charges, you can get a influence gain by saving. If you just kill the bests and he comes down, no gain?
Lightside influence gain from saving, Darkside gain if you blow him up.
Also, when you raid the military base on Telos' surface, you can escort the Czerka mercenary to the entrance. You can gain some influence with Atton, but make sure Kreia is not in your party as you will lose influence with her.
Don't have time to watch just yet but YES! A like to one of the greatest games of all time.
Your guides are very useful 💯💯
There's an influence place that works for Atton on M4-78 when you reprogram the sith war droid's battery.
there is also an influence location for Atton and Bao-Dur in the Telos Military Base when the czerka employee asks you to find him a way out
On a Dark Side run I just take G0-T0, Hanhaar, Mandalore, And HK-47 everywhere because they appreciate my jerk efforts.
This is siiick keep it up
Thank you! :)
@@PoppaShmoop Do you have the Force powers Affect Mind/Dominate Mind?
@@CatDaddyGaming yes, have both
@@PoppaShmoop Interesting, I thought that would be the reason. How about your Pesuade skill? How many points you got into that?
@@CatDaddyGaming on that save I had at least 21 pts in persuade, maybe 22. Is that too low for that event? I ended up discarding that save and loaded an earlier save so I can have more points in persuade.
@PoppaShmoop Found a lot of forums citing this exact issue but no certain fixes. I've seen several mentions that it only works with affect mind and not dominate mind. If that is true the it would be a vanilla version problem and most likely correct with TSLRCM.
Atton has loads of actions influence gains on telos
(I think)
Does influence still matter after training them as Jedi?
Handmaiden does have to be on the Ebon Hawk cuz I believe that is the only place she will spar with you.
you missed 1 influence place
in the Exchnage base on telos
if you murder the receptionist
kreja will talk bullshit to you
tell her to f off and Atton will gain influence
Thanks for pointing that out! I wasn't aware of that one. Will have to give it a go.
Thank you!
Visa and Mastercard, my favorite companions.
so I'm currently doing a playthrough as male and following what your posted here and the lightside video to turn all my companions to Jedi and see if I can with Atton, Bao-dur, and Handmaiden before leaving for the Jekk Jekk Tarr. having to backtrack out of the Refugee sector is annoying to change companions and out of three tries with the dying man (once Bao-dur solo, other two with T3) only once did I get the influence gain conservation.
Is it possible to do the Atton one on Dantooine on the mechanic with no awareness upgrades? I can’t seem to get the awareness dialogue option
No, not that one specifically but you will have many more chances so missing one or two shouldn't be too big of a deal.
Now that will come in handy!
At 14:27 I had dominate mind and there was no force persuade option
Was it during your second encounter with the crowd? The first encounter won't give you very much to do, but come back after going to Dhagon Ghents and you should get it to pop up. Also have you put any points into the Persuade skill?
I have around 20 or so points in it, there was no option to force persuade, I reloaded to before I been got to onderone and still nothing sadly

The only one I couldnt get in my first play though was Dur
Man, I haven't been able to gain influence with the Handmaiden even *with* this guide. I do these things and it ends up not affecting her. She's the only one in my party. Reason for trying to get influence is because she's very mad at me because I'm being chill with Visas, so I decided to load an earlier save before I spoke with her (she'd still be technically mad, I just haven't talked to her yet) and try to gain influence so she won't be mad.
But why would I ever bring Bao-Dur, Disciple, Handmaiden, or Mira with me? All I need is Kreia and Atton, the OP gods
I’m not getting the influence with Atton with the Dock Mechanic on Dantooine. I’m using the base game on the Xbox One.
Could be a restored content fix. Should have plenty more locations for Atton though.
Can you make one of these for a darkside playthrough with GO-TO, HK-47, Kreia, Mandalore, and Visas Marr.
I have something like that in the works as we type!
I cant any influence on any characters after I get the sensors for some reason. Maybe it's for a different version idk. But I'm still trying to get influence with Bao-Dur and Handmaiden
Should be the same across all versions. If you have already maxed out influence with companions you will stopped getting the influence gained prompt
I stopped getting notifications that Atton gained influence but I haven't gotten any extra dialog options other than when he teaches you to play Pazaak or when he interacts with other companions on the ship. Is my game broken?
Edit: He was the only member of my party at the time.
Possibly. It is very common for this game to glitch or bug out. Could be possible you maxed out the influence for him too.
! I completed this game 3 times and never knew disciple could join your crew
Lol perfect reason for another playthrough!
@@CatDaddyGaming is your game modded?, I play on vanilla version
@@asiansittingduck-2427 Yes, heavily modded! Mostly retextures or visual updates but I do have some added content. I also enjoy the fun add on ones. I have one where you can kill the Ithorian that is in the Force cage in the Czerka place in the Citadel Station. Little mods like that are the best!
You should do a video for influence end game with T3, Kreia and the non convertible characters
Strong with the Force you are! I may on not be working on something like that right now!
@@CatDaddyGaming bro I swear you my favorite KOTOR 2 channel! There’s another one I like too but it’s more like feats/ skills guides. I’m LOVING KOTOR 2 with the RCM it’s blowing my mind how more you can do.
Are there any influence spots on korraban.
I don't believe so. When I was researching and testing all these I saw no mentions of Korriban influence locations. I was only checking for convertable companions though so there may be some for the droid companions, but as far as I know Korriban doesn't have any.
I’m going through this right now. Bro my bao dur got bugged, so i have to leave him on the ship. He doesnt follow me around. Love this game regardless of it’s glitched moments
Lol the exact same thing happened to me!
Really?? That's crazy, I have never had that happen to me before. Are you using the TSLRCM? I know it has a bunch of bug fixes in it and maybe that is one of them. That sucks tho cuz Bao Dur can be quite handy to bring along lol
CatDaddy Gaming i’m playing the original game on my xbox one haha!
Nice! I am so glad they made that game backwards compatible. Maybe it is the vanilla version or maybe even the Xbox One port. I also have my OG Xbox Disc copy still but it is fairly scratched.
Idk if I'm bugged but I can't get the first influence again for atton on Dantooine
Oh interesting!! I will have to try that one out. Thank you very much for sharing! :)
@@CatDaddyGaming You're quite welcome!!!
@@CatDaddyGaming If I remember right there is one more for Atton, but on the Telos restoration zone. However you'll automatically lose influence with Bao-Dur since he has to be with you. Instead of helping the Twi'lek escape, you can kill him instead.
@@spdracr420 Yes I did know that one. May have to make a video going over all the spots where Atton gets influence from killing people.
@@CatDaddyGaming I used to play this game so much when it first came on on Xbox. It's been such a blast getting to play it on steam and with the restoration pack. I've been learning some much new things that I never knew before.
So when exactly do we get the option to make them Jedi?
You have to get enough influence gained with them to unlock the dialogue. That is why I showed where all the influence gains locations were. Save often so if you lose influence you can reload your most recent save and not have to redo too far back.
My first play through I was able to turn Bao dur and the handmaiden into Jedi yet on my second playthrough I wasn't despite the fact I made the exact same decisions....is my game broken?
Not sure, did you change anything?
@@CatDaddyGaming Not that I know of....might of picked 1 or 2 different dialogue options when in conversation with but other than that all the major influence missions for him like the speeder on nar shadda, moisture vaporizers on dantooine and other things like that aren't giving me influence
@@dylanvail5116 Usually if your not getting influence when you should, that means you are maxed out. However, this game gets some super weird bugs so it's possible your game is just being wonky.
How do you have Jedi robes etc on peragus? Cheat codes?
Cheat codes is one way to do it. I don't usually use cheat codes though unless I'm showing off items. In these playthroughs I was lucky enough for the random generation to provide me with one that early. Restored Content Mod alters the loot pool so I think that had something to do with it although it is possible for it to happen on vanilla versions.
you missed one in the old military base on telos. saving the czerka guy will help with bao dur
Ah you are probably right. He always dies in my playthroughs so I must be doing something wrong lol appreciate you pointing that out!
@@CatDaddyGaming on PC with restored content mod. Clear the base but don't activate the tank droid. Make just Bao dur your only party member and be patient the patching on the Czerka guy is TERRIBLE
Hm, I have all the parts, but can’t fix the speeder in Serrucco section. Game says it’s broken beyond repair. I have restored content mode.
Did you already do the Jekk Jekk Tarr part? If you get too far into Nar Shaddaas main quest then it won't let you repair the speeder anymore.
@@CatDaddyGaming yes, I did. I also didn't know I could convert my followers to Jedi. Hanged with Visas and Kreia as followers, wasted all influence locations. Will do another walkthrough now)))
@@romanscherbakov9561 That is probably what the issue was with the speeder then. No worries on missing the other followers, that gives you perfect reasoning to give it a fresh playthrough!
How much awareness do need for the sensors
According to the wiki you will need Awareness at 5 to examine the sensors. It is also saying you can have your Repair at 16 alternatively.
Everytime I try the lootra quest I can't get Mira influence no matter what I try I even followed your video exactly I'm playing the switch version however
I would say one of 2 things are happening. Either you have Miras influence maxed out, or that influence was restored in the Restored Content. I will try it on my Switch and see if I have the same issue.
@@CatDaddyGaming I managed to get the outside influence I need for her while returning the sensors on dantooine after so I know I wasn't maxed on her influence she just wouldn't trigger with lootra with me for some reason
I think most of us have gained full positive influence with all characters
Has anyone gained full negative influence and turned them into jedi/dark jedi? (I just finally did it myself for the first time with disciple)
Also, has anyone been a lightside Jedi that everyone hates? So you're lightside and everyone on the ship is darkside just because they hate you? (Gonna try that at some point)
Can’t find any info, so I’ll ask an expert. Does cha actually effect influence?
Lol that's the best compliment I've ever received! So this is a tough one. There are forums back from 2005 where players state it does effect influence but I've never come across hard proof. Even with very low or starting influence, conversations and choices will still trigger influence no matter what. Like saving or killing certain NPCs always award influence with certain companions. So I believe the answer is no, it does not affect influence for companions. The only possibility of that being the case is maybe CHA increases influence point number awarded. And you would need 4 influence gains instead of 5 to reach 100 influence. But I have not tested this to confirm.
@@CatDaddyGaming thanks for the quick response and info! I’ll take it into account for my build!
@@Fbispook No problem, happy to help if YT notifies me of the comment lol CHA is super good for Force Power builds and what not. Essential if you want to be Dark Side and use Heal or Light Side and use Force Storm. But don't get it just for companion influence.
@@CatDaddyGaming got it! You are an amazing resource!
Ayy i got atton the force in the reforgee section
Lol I did that with T3 and I still got to repair him (except he was fully light :D)

Sad Korriban noises
Ah u da best!
Interesting! I wasn't aware of that! I will have to test that out and give it a go on my next playthrough.
@@CatDaddyGaming sure thing, unless it’s just a bug that my game has every play through, that’s how I always get the extra set of charges without dark side points. Cuz ur “upholding the law” the rigid jedi way, I guess the game doesn’t count it as dark side.
This is all rcm i was playing vanilla and half dont work, went through so many saves and hard quits to figure this out…
These are not RCM related. They work in the vanilla versions. Have done many of them on Switch, Mobile and OG Xbox version.
Actually, I never had Atton say anything about the Jedi code when helping lootra
@@CatDaddyGaming I'll try this in a minute.
Why was bao durs face red ?
Darth Maul mod!
Crap, I didn’t even know they’re convertable))
That's okay lol perfect reason to give it another playthrough!
for anyone who this happened to with Atton and his echanni training i had to lose 1 influence with Atton and then I was able to get 2 or 3 influence with him also Im on the base Xbox version no RCM ( will be adding more to this if find anything that messed with my run on the xbox)
Well this is not really a glitch its just a tip with the military dude on dantooine when you first talk to him, if you don't have Bao-Dur in your party when you talk to him, when you get to the actual spot where you find the sensors Bao-Dur wont say anything.
How were you sparring with Bao dur?
When you offer to train him in the ways of the force he will spar with you. Might have to sit through the whole cutscene of them meditating. If you convert him before you get a lightsaber it will leave out the lightsaber sparring scene, but if have crafted your first one, Bao Dur will magically get one to spar with you but he won't have it after the sparring scene.
@@CatDaddyGaming is that with tslrcm?
@@davidhatcher7016 I did record this with TSLRCM installed but I'm pretty sure it is also in the vanilla version.
Don't use Atton enough to convert him, and prefer Bao Due as a Mechanic to make me stuff. Also don't use him. I keep Atton's levels, armor and equipment up until the bar fight, don't use him after I get Handmaiden and Visis.
You have wrong Saethe model on Dantooine 😮
I have always been sad since I found out i couldn't convert Hanhar into a jedi, id love to see a wookie jedi
You normally have to be the opposite gender to convert them right? I don’t think I’ve ever been able to when I wasn’t.
You can convert them no matter what your gender is. Only difference will be if you get Handmaiden or Disciple. In my lightside companion guide I convert Atton and Bao Dur as a male character. Same steps either way, just gotta get those influence gains with them.
Kreia effect only works in vanilla.
Ah! Good to know, haven't played vanilla in many years.
Can I turn my companions into Jedi without doing any side quests
Doing any side quests is so freaking annoying
I believe so. Definitely some of them. Some others will likely need influence gains.
Very true! I laughed out loud at the El Chapo portion of this comment!
