Then Malek tried to betray him getting killed in the process messing revan up enough to lose his memories and the Jedi reteaching him in the light
After a while he gets his memories back and claims his own title as a true force user not Jedi nor sith
Becoming so connected with the force, that before revan could die the force straight yeeted him out of his body and he become one with the force

Revan was always a master at inspiration it seems. He managed to convince a large group of Jedi to become Sith so that the Jedi could defeat the Mandalorians and even after all that happened to him, while he has no clue who he is he can still convince people of these things.

Theres another person you can turn from becoming sith. Its between the twilek woman and a man, just outside the cantina on Korriban. They both tell you that they want to become sith and join the academy. I forget if its a persuasion check or dialogue path, or some required action sequence you need to do. But you can convince at least one of them to rethink about joining the academy and go home.
You can also turn a certain sith mummy.
You can turn Carth's son.
Fun fact, you can find Kel and Yuritha on Dantooine if you complete it within 3 planets.
@John Smith Clarification: You TURN Yuritha on Korriban. However, if you do the Korriban story before the Leviathan and the identity reveal (so do Korriban first or second), then you can go and say hi to Yuritha and other Sith you've converted back on Dantooine. I've always found that to be sad, though, since I didn't discover that until after I knew Dantooine would go boom, and it felt like sentencing them to death, so I did Korriban last. I prefer the "certain sith mummy" quest, where you can literally turn Ajunta Pall, hinted to be the original Dark Lord of the Sith and founder of the first Sith Empire, back to the light and thus put his ghost to rest.

@Abе Pat What are you talking about? The game confirmed that the ENTIRE Jedi Order got wiped out save for 3 masters and the traitor who caused it.
So Kreia was right again. You helped them without thinking that it may end up making their life worse and all you have brought in the end is even more pain.
Not all of them went to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine. Plus, if you ever played The Old Republic as a Sith, a Jedi Padawan named Yadira Ban is your last boss fight. It's likely that Yuthura survived if a member of her family was a Jedi.
Roughly 200 Jedi went to Katarr and were killed there. Kreia theorized that barely 100 Jedi remained after that, but even she didn't know exactly, as quite a few hid themselves using the Force due to the Sith Assassins. It's impossible to know truly how many Jedi actually remained.

Get through Malac's ship where you learn you are Revan, there is actually a dialogue option where you can reveal to Yuthara that you are actually Revan. I thought that was a cool little detail.

@@TheProdigalKnight Thank gosh for the modding community then. There is such a Mod for KOTOR 2 known as the Restored Content Mod, where pretty much ALL the cut content is put back into the game.
These games made me love Starwars even more. Now that love is just a distant memory.

Hearing the music at the credits at the end of Jedi Academy made me feel this love, as well as playing the KOTOR games (KOTOR 2 > KOTOR 1)

I love doing this. Imagine the biggest baddest Sith Lord at the time coming back to redeem everyone
Kotor1: 500 000 sidequests , NPC's with good story, dialogue etc,
Kotor2: Whole academy empty, fuck up two or three space-goats and go home.
Its because it was supposed to be a precursor to a bigger planet, M4-78. You were supposed to find a datapad instead of the Jedi's corpse which pointed you that way. Big droid planet, and I think you were supposed to fight her Padawans. It was cut for time and they just decided to kill her on Korriban. If you have the game on PC, someone created a mod of the planet that is fully playable. I don't know how much of it was the original though. Supposedly, Obsidian finished all the work and everything, they just didn't have time to implement it. Thats why the Restored Content mod exists essentially, since so much of it was still in the game files. They just had to find it, get it working and implement it. (I know there was a lot more to it than that.)

If you go to Korriban last, there is a different dialog tree with Yuthura that has a lot of emotional weight. I highly recommend it.

I've played thru this game more times than I can remember and I never even considered that Yuthura could be turned. Guess it's almost time for another playthru.
If you go back to the Jedi temple after completing another star map you'll find yuthura there and talk about how she became a student

Well as far as we know, Yuthura(if turned to the light), has a child and as the generations go on, we eventually get to the (probable) last of her lineage; That being Yadira Ban.

Never realized just how good Yuthura’s voice actress is.
I absolutely love all the choices and all the options. Kotor 1 is by far my favorite game ever. I probably have about 1,000 hours. Maybe not that much, but more than 500 I’d say. Both sides of the force are so satisfying. I’m still learning about gear, choices, quests etc.

@@drakeevans8042 molding someone is not dark side i mean in the first game the jedi literally remove your memories and replace your entire identity they basily forcefully mold you to be what they want you to be. what im talking about is much more natural when someone is at a cross road in their life that is when you have the biggest impact on them like when you defeat yuthura she is defeated both physically and mentally she is basically now open to change during this period of time you and really any outside force will find it easier to mold someone change someone by speaking to them basically you defeating yuthura and turning her to the light side side is the kinda molding im talking about. you could have as easily told her to become your apprentice or to put all the force business behind her and she would have probably done it. but if you had told her this when you first entered the academy she would never agree to that it was only during this cross road in her life you could have made this change to her by speaking to her.

Not sure i realized it's possible to turn this many people, but even so it was a "means to an end" playthrough, stayed in the grey through most of the game.
On the playthrough I remember doing I don't think I spared her.

And then there's also the sith force ghost you can convince to turn back to the light
Even better: Tell Uthar that Yuthura means to take him out. She praises you with prestige for bringing the info to him, and gives you a datapad with instructions to give to the academy cook, for him to poison Yuthura's food the day of the trial. DON'T give the cook the instructions and return to Yuthura instead, informing her that _somehow_ Uthar found out about y'all's scheme, showing her the datapad as proof. She will then give you access to Uthar's chambers (good loot, as well as info about Dustil Onasi) to plant a device in his bed that will poison him instead.
This helps in many regards. For one, preemptive proof about Uthar having Dustil's lover killed to remove his distractions. For another, is severely weakens Uthar for the fight, making him easier to take out and leaving you still able to handle Yuthura with no problem.
Also, if you do Korriban early enough in the game and redeem Kel and Yuthura, you can return to Dantooine and find them both there. Kel (in the training room adjacent to the council chambers) is already a padawan and everything. 😁 Yuthura is outside in the courtyard, finding some much needed peace, hoping to resume her training soon. I only wish Mekel, Thalia and her friends, and Dustil were there too.

Same, it was re-released on Xbox One with the additional Yavin IV station mission / items.
But it was largely exactly the same.
They should have done what they did for the Halo remaster. An option to toggle between old school and remaster.
I dont want a remake. The people who would make it would make it bad. Example: swtor is a failure

Holy cow, I've played this game through like 3 times and I've never been able to do this. That's a lot of persuasion points for sure.
You can convert Yuthura?!?! No cap, always assumed that the backstabbing piece of shit was beyond redemption, this truly made me want to go back and see what other stories I left untouched.

I always did Korriban last, after Malak had bombed Dantooine to hell. That way, for each Sith here I converted to the Light, it wouldn't feel like I was giving them an immediate death sentence afterwards.
As do I. Also because I like to play with a full Jedi strike team, usually Bastila and either Juhani or Jolee. Bastila won't go with you anyway if you do Korriban before she is captured. So it always made the most sense to do it last.
I like that you can see how the Sith ideology makes sense here and why someone would become a sith. Instead of restraining themselves, the sith start off wanting to do good by embracing power. The problem is that the unrestrained Force is a parasite that leads you away from your initial goals.

Before I talked and fought Yuthera and Uthar, I mined the area around them and did the quest parts where I poisoned both. It was a very short fight.
Pretty much all these students that join the jedi will be kill by the sith in kotor 2
And yet all the Sith that Revan redeemed in the Academy, including Yuthura, will eventually die horrific and tragic deaths as Jedi at the hands of Darth Sion and his Sith Assassins.
Converting all these Jedi just for them to die to Sion in the next installment

On my most recent playthought,I turned the sith renegades to the light and that one dude that feels out of place, I proceeded to kill everyone else

Yuthura Ban was such a well developed character.
the irony of all of this is that by turning Yuthura ban to the light, you doomed her to death by the hands of Darth Malak. maybe even all the students you "saved" too. If you don't do Korriban last in the order of planets, you can go back to Dantooine and talk to her there at the academy. But if you do Korriban last, you can't.
So Kreia was right, you cannot save anyone from their fate
They all died after being redeemed something that Kreia never believed in. She was too sure in her own ways to see that these former sith were saved by Revan even if they were destroyed by Malak. They all became one with the Force as true Jedi while Kreia was lost to Chaos as are all of the dead Sith, suffering for eternity. A fate far worse than death.

Kreia was no Sith, not during the events of the game anyway. Sure, she slaughters the Jedi Masters reconvened on Dantooine, talks Atris into realising and accepting that she has already turned to the Dark Side, manipulated the Exile and her companions from beginning to end like pawns for her own ends, used Tobin to lure Nihilus to Telos, and returned to Malachor V to reclaim her place as headmistress of the Sith Academy. But these were all means to an end for her. Kreia's plan was to wipe the slate clean; for the Jedi to realise how arrogant, dogmatic, and judgemental they had been, for Atris to fully embrace the Dark Side so the Exile would be forced to defeat her and impart the same lesson to her, for Nihilus to fall in a trap so that he could be destroyed, and for everyone in her Sith Academy - including herself - to be defeated by the Exile so that Sion and the other Sith would no longer threaten the Galaxy, and to see for herself if the training and guidance she had given the Exile were right.
And though Kreia herself hated the Force, and sought to create a Wound in the Force powerful enough to "kill" it, she had the best interests of the Galaxy at heart, seeing her goals as akin to killing a cruel, malevolent god.
It also depends on when you decide to do the Korriban mission, if you do it after your captured by Malak, then the temple is already destroyed, and even still, other Jedi managed to survive the attack such as Vandar and Vrook, so why couldn't others? It's also worth mentioning a character named Yadira Ban is serving as a Jedi in the SWTOR mmorpg, which heavily implies that Yuthura goes on to have descendants after the events of KOTOR 1 (light side of course). I would say she had done well for herself after turning away from the Sith.
This game is another testament to bioware and there amazing story telling

I didn't know you could save Yuthura. I always found it too entertaining to play her and Uthar against each other and kill them both.
If you do complete Korriban before the Leviathan and you convince Yuthura to return to the light, you can talk to her again on Dantoonie. You'd need to complete Korriban as like your first or second planet. Once you unlock that third starmap, Dantoonie is a gonner.

As a Cahar former slave, Juhani was obviously upset that you called her a slave, but then she realized you needed to in order to not blow your cover. I still hated doing that to her... which is why I took Jolee to Korriban on subsequent runs instead, because his reaction was hillarious!
Jolee's reactions on the planet are the best!
