Hi, I also had the same identical problem (black screen, but keyboard backlit are still on) and I've managed to fix it. Previously I was using a MacBook Air M2 13.6-inch with Sonoma 14.1.2. The problem lies in your "Lock Screen Settings" (System Settings - Lock Screen). Check your "Start Screen Saver" timer settings. If there's a notification that says "Display will sleep before screen saver starts," then you need to change it. Make sure your "Screen Saver" timing is set LOWER than the two settings below it (Turn Display off, Turn Display off on power, Require password
You help me thank you no speak inglish sorry, i from peru 1000thankyou solución mi problemas mil gracias amigo
I spent close to 200$ at the Apple Store 🏬 to change piece inside the mackbook n still had the problem 😮💀😭😭
But how should I access the settings if I can‘t see anything???

First: force restart your MacBook by pressing the power button for 10 seconds, then wait for 3 seconds, and press the power button of your MacBook again.

I tried that already. Keyboard light up but the screen seems to be on but black I can see anything therefore I don‘t know how to fix the settings…

OMG IT WORKSSSS
My MacBook m2 pro (2023) went into blackscreen while I was working on it. Right now it only chimes without any light on the keyboard or screen. I don just know what to do.
claudedaiga5897 Bro, If none of the ways showed in the video, then it can be a hardware issue. you need to repair it.☺️
Ok but how I prevent this to happen again. It happens almost once a day to me and I have to restart every time
ignaciocanepa6233 Bro, If its happening all the time, then you need first find out why this is happening, like App Incompatibility, too many heavy apps working the times, hardware issues etc. After then you need to troubleshoot accordingly.☺️
@@Fix.369 now that you mentioned, I believe Slack app is causing trouble to my Mac. It's a Mac air M2 but only 8gb ram. I will try using web app instead installing it. Thanks
no good
Didn't work.
First things first. Keep away from mackbook devices. Go huawei.
My battery was dead. 🤦🏾♀️
slymm619 Bro, If overnight charging also don’t work for you then, it can be a hardware issue. You need to repair it.☺️
Waste of time
Thanks 🫶🏻
