Hey Alyssa! I just wanna say dont be too disheartened. I know you feel like youre falling behind or not making as much progress, but youre still doing great! Not having a debt snowball still means youre paying the minimums, which is the only thing people often do. If you think about it, youre paying EXTRA on your debt every single month, except for one. Also youre in a very rare position since youre gonna be going to school WITHOUT student loans. Lol this was a long comment, but it always helps me to look at the bigger picture when Im a bit disheartened
Oh how I love cash envelopes!!! You inspired me to do the same and start my own channel to keep myself accountable. Thank you for the amazing content. You rock! 💜💜💜
Hey there. Question. If you get paid bi weekly and you have 2 months out of the year where you have 3 paychecks what do you do with the extra check since most bills are monthly? Love your videos!
Quick question, obviously while you have everything in cash you can't earn any rewards or interest from your bank for keeping it in there. Do you ever put a lump sum in your bank even if it's just the savings so you can gain interest on it? The more you have saved up in there the more interest you get. It's not much but it does accumulate over the year, just thought I'd ask. Love your videos :D
5:22 you sound so stressed ☹️💖 everything will turn out fine at the end (: so all your stress will be worth it ! edit; your channel has grown so much since i’ve started watching you, im so proud 💖
Liz Villalobos I really hate not putting a “large enough” amount toward my debt, but I know everything will be okay ❤️ I’m still making a big payment this month! Thank you for the positivity and thank you for being with me for a long time! 😊
With your capital one 360 when you transfer bills into there, how to do you do the transfer? Do you have to go into the capital one and request it from your other bank, or sign in your other bank and transfer it to the capital one account?
That's money that needs to be transferred into my Capital One account so that the bills can be paid from that account. Keeping that separate from my main checking really helps me not spend it, in my experience!
The only thing about cash envelopes is that I need all of money in my bank account in order to pay my bills so its hard to separate what goes where and what I need. Its hard to save that when its all in there. Should i pull everything out that i dont need for the bills through my bank? is that what you do? And then save everything else in cash?
Hi just curious about the bridesmaid dress for the wedding. My brother is getting married as well but in November. Not sure yet on all the logistics about if we have to match and what color scheme she is looking at yet. I just have no idea where to start with saving for it bc nothing has been planned much.
Maria Berdon I just started saving a generic $20 a paycheck for various bridesmaids costs. I know the bride has picked a color and we’re all going to David’s bridal together in April to get dresses. I don’t think a David’s bridal bridesmaid dress is any more than $200 maybe? And then hopefully I’ll have some money to participate in the bachelorette party, get a gift for the bridal shower, and a wedding gift.
Totally random but I have a bump in the same spot on my finger and it was just a ganglion cyst ( also known as a bible bump) usually they just pop it or it can go away by itself.
Thank you for reminding me of this bump! I've actually completely forgotten about it in the last week or so because it's no longer hurting! Thanks for the tips for sure 😊
It's a dotted journal, You can get one at Walmart or Amazon. And what she is doing is called bullet journaling:) a way to plan things on your own terms.
Is this terrible to say, I want to you to have another job so that you could get paid every week?!!😕😕 I want to watch your cash stuffing every week! 😍 😍😍😍
Hahaha 😂 I used to (many years ago) only get paid once every two weeks but I'd split up my paychecks into 2 so I did a weekly budget! I don't think I have the patience for that anymore 😂
Alyssa Herbert Haha a girl could wish! Do you roll your money at the end of the year over or throw it at your debt snowball (I.e., sinking funds)? Thanks
I have 2 checking accounts and 1 savings account. Makes it a bit more complicated to keep track. Maybe keep $1000 per checking account and the rest in my savings account.
Everytime I get paid, I get super excited because 1. I get paid lol and 2. For these videos !! 💕💕

I came to the comments to see if anyone else noticed that lol that's totally something I would do lol
i came looking for comments about that

Yay! I look forward to your cash envelope stuffing videos every other week!!!
Its a small thing but I hate that my pay day is opposite of yours so I can't do my envelopes with you
Your handwriting is so pretty!
I’ve been waiting for this since I woke up this morning! Lol😊

YAY FOR CASH STUFFING!

I personally go into my Capital One app and request a transfer from my other bank to my capital one account.
Ive been waiting for this video since you posted it on Instagram! 🤗
What is the difference between health insurance and medical?
Medical is making sure that if she goes to the doctor she has enough for a co pay. Insurance pays for the policy she has.
do i have to have a transfer portion
one question what is the transfer portion about is that money thats already gonna be transfered or what
That's money that needs to be transferred into my Capital One account so that the bills can be paid from that account. Keeping that separate from my main checking really helps me not spend it, in my experience!
Love these! They help so much! I just got a puppy so I gotta budget for that now!😅❤️ What do you do for your job?☺️
Awww congrats!

you may have said this in a past video, but what does your debt snowball consist of? cc debt? school debt?

@@alyssamakeseverything thanks for the tips. Guess I should start saving now. I hope the dress will be under the $100 range honestly.

Hi, hello, I'd love it if you'd put an actual link in the bio for your instagram profile so we can just click it (:
You got it!
LOL: "Pile up CLAP, pile up cash". Would you put the debt amount in the title. I love your handmade pages. What is your notebook?
It's a dotted journal, You can get one at Walmart or Amazon. And what she is doing is called bullet journaling:) a way to plan things on your own terms.
Another great video!
I could be totally wrong but I think on this one and the last one you aren’t cutting the Disney one in half?
Oh shoot...you're totally right! I was wondering why my "money to pay bills" seemed higher than usual. Thank you! Sometimes it just slips my mind 😂
Are you still selling your envelopes on Etsy?
Keep up the awesome videos!
Do you get paid biweekly or weekly.
Biweekly 😊
What is medical vs. health insurance?

Does anyone know the dimensions of the envelopes she uses?
gabby garcia I think it is 7x3. She did a video on how she makes them.
Are you selling envelopes yet?? I would really like some!!!
I have 2 checking accounts and 1 savings account. Makes it a bit more complicated to keep track. Maybe keep $1000 per checking account and the rest in my savings account.
Love your videos
Do you sell these envelopes?
Whats a debt snowball anyone? I dont quite understand what it is ah
What is the difference between medical and health insurance? I thought your medical insurance was your health insurance...? 🤔
The medical is for any co pay
Exactly. Medical is me saving up for my copay, and health insurance is to pay the premium? I forget if that’s the right term 😂
Isn’t your cash envelope amount wrong? Shouldn’t it be 532? You have a 2 in the 12 that’s why. I think you have $3 extra dollars?
Dimez_7 I corrected it in the video 😊
Hey you're alright lookin =)
With you car maintenance swapping a $50 note for a $50 note??? Did that annoy anyone else lol? No? Just me, okay
Can I please get a shoutout 💗🙈
