- Hey everyone! Today I'm back with another cash envelope stuffing video, and at the end of the video I discuss giveaway details for my 100 subscriber giveaway! I just found your videos today, and at first I thought "that's way too much effort to go to the bank that often", and now I'm sitting here making envelopes for literally everything because I think it's genius lmao. I'm going to try this next month and see how it goes! I'm hoping that actually seeing ALL of my cash laid out like this will help me budget way better and be able to be more careful with my spending.
LOL I love it! It becomes almost therapeutic, and definitely very fun! But maybe that's just because I'm a total numbers nerd! I hope you enjoy it and it helps you get a better grip on your spending and your finances in general! Welcome to my channel 😊

I want to get started but am totally confused because most of my bills are paid online or withdrawn automatically. Do you still bother withdrawing and then depositing? Also do you leave money in your bank account for savings?

I’ve been watching your videos for an hour... I’m absolutely in awe!! I’m 19 and just starting out in my world of adulting, and am DEFINITELY a bit over whelmed and feel like I’ll NEVER be able to save and pay off my student loans!! But since starting watching your videos literally an hour ago I’ve made rough sketches of budget plans that I’ll be able to start following in a week or two when I start getting paid from my new job!! Same here!!! After watching your method I’m thinking of opening a second bank account to dedicate it to the sinking accounts but make sure it is strictly no card so I don’t spend it. For my auto bills I’ll probably leave it in my main bank account but just leave my cards at home so I don’t spend that as well just carry my grocery and gas cash with me.

I just found your videos today and have been binge watching them. I am coming off of 2 months without pay because i work at a school, but i am looking forward to my first paycheck in september so i can do this! I dont have a bank here-so i will just be withdrawing what i need in cash from the atm, but i am so excited to try it

I find people doing the envelopes so entertaining because before learning about this method I had saved up $5,000 in the bank for my emergency fund. Then I used 5 bank envelop holders a month and all other money from my payroll check goes to principal for my student loans. Three envelopes with the total written $223. Then on those the list is written: $100 Food, $100 Pocket money, $10 gas, $10 Laundry, $3 Car wash. When the next check comes in, any unused money from the envelope goes to principle payment to my student loan, too. My first envelope is top heavy at $600-ish including the categories mentioned. And my last envelope has the same categories plus my student loan payment($223 standard +$161Student loan). $5,000 to go on the student loans. To celebrate paying it off, I'll take the Financial Peace University class to up my game.

What kind of movie pass do you have, and is it like 12 movies a month and you pay $10 a month?
I have AMC A-list. It's $20 per month for 12 movies per month.
Question....so if u have a phone bill do u put the amount in there twice or just once and pay your bill out of it????
I split up all of my bills into two, so that half of the bill is coming out per paycheck (I get paid twice per month). That way you avoid the whole "my first paycheck gets completely eaten up by bills" thing that I see lots of people struggle with. I divide the hit equally among both of my paychecks!
