I LOVE your videos! I get paid the same weeks you do and stuff mine with you. Your videos have inspired me to do better with budgeting and have given me that little push to just get started. Loved going on errands with you and the vlog. Don't worry about the bank. I think you can get away without filming there and don't feel pressure to do so for the sake of a video. Always love your videos! Would love to see a video about Dave Ramsey’s baby steps. Quick question though. I never see you take anything out for any sort of emergency fund. Does this automatically come out of your paycheck before you withdraw anything ?
Katrina Avila Baby Step One is to save up $1,000 for a starter emergency fund. Baby Step Two, which is what she’s on, is the debt snowball. So this basically means she’s focused on the step she’s on and already has the money set aside in case any emergencies should arise. Baby Step Three would be to go back to that starter $1,000 and fully fund it. Hope that helps.

I bought cash envelopes from a shop on etsy and I'm starting to take my budgeting more seriously. I'm a notorious debt card swiper and knowing I have cash taken out to spend has really helped me stay on top of my money spending habits. 😁

I would love to see a video on the Dave Ramsey method. I am familiar with it, but I think the way people approach it is totally different. For example, some people get so focused on it that they let everything else slide--for example, the gift budget goes down considerably or totally. I'm thinking about Ramsey-ing my finances, but not sure if it's the right method for me. It would also be interesting to see how a single person interprets some of the later steps, like fully funding your children's education when you don't have kids, or paying off your mortgage when you don't own a house. Do you skip those, or do you start funding them now before you even get there?
The baby steps would be good. Thanks for all the advice it’s really helped me manage my money and debt and it feels amazing.

Maybe you could get your boyfriend a nice body wash or shaving cream from Lush. They have a face mask called Cup of Coffee that he might like! It smells just like coffee! I’ve found guys like being treated to nice toiletries!
Leslie Castro that’s such a good idea! He has a beard but he does shave his neck and gets crazy bad razor burn sometimes! Maybe I should get him something that works great for that. Thank you!
Alyssa Nicole You’re welcome! They have a delicious citrus smelling one called Five o’Clock Whistle! I used to work at Lush and I recommended that to guys all the time! Or Cosmetic Lad moisturizer that soothes razor burn!
