I live in Michigan, if you can arrange travel we'll love, love, love her! We went from 3 cats and 2 big dogs, to only a very sweet Great Pyrenees boy who needs a friend to help care for. Unfortunately, since she was involved in a legal case, she could not be in a home environment. There are so many restrictions for dogs who’ve been in abusive or neglectful situations, who are now “evidence”. 😞
Laws should definitely be changed in favor of the dogs I too rescued a tortured pup from a man who was teaching his 3 kids to be cruel but thanks to my chihuahua girl and kittens and other wild animals I was fostering he has turned into the sweetest dog has some cat and fox tendencies but it’s cute 🐾
@@ashleybencook Yes our shepard was involved Ina cruelty neglect case for a puppy mill. Took 7 baths just to get most of the smell out of her. Luckily they did let the dogs be fostered out after 6.months.
In the middle of my sob, I wondered how fast I could drive out there. It’s two days no matter how you slice it….. Rocky, I need to call my local shelter and see what I can do to be helpful . the right people will come along for that sweet pup !!! ❤

I would take her, but I'm in Florida. I've been looking for a female large dog since my husband died. I'm set up and have 3 small dogs for companionship for her. She is a beauty. I am retired and stay home, fenced yard, but all my dogs stay inside by my side.
This is so heartbreaking. Jacka is so beautiful. Thankfully she was rescued from the horrible condition she was in. I pray this girl gets a lifetime of love, snuggles, toys, and treats for the rest of her life. Sending love to Jacka.❤🐶 Thank you for all you do for these precious souls.
I'm a 55 year old construction contractor, I have been thru a lot of VERY difficult situations and consider myself to be a pretty tough and masculine man. I very seldom get emotional or let things get to me .. But I actually broke down watching what this poor beautiful dog has been through. I pray she has found true love and a human that she can take good care of. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU FOR WHAT YOUR DOING TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.

My heart breaks for this dog , as I lived in the foster care system as a child and it wasn’t a loving experience in all 4 foster homes . I just lost my 17 yo long haired dachshund .

I have dealt with a lot of anxiety in my life and watching these videos not only helped me with it, but see the love and care possible. A number of years ago I adopted a Rottweiler from an horrendous abuse/hoarding situation , she spent her first 2.5 years either there or in a shelter, before I met her as a volunteer. It took her over a year to adjust to be fostered (with me) and i then adopted her, she grew into a playful, loving and funny dog, who didn't know how to "dog" until she was introduced to my Jack Russell who was the size of her head, and she immediately thought she was a lapdog too, in her 6.5 years I dont think she ever realised her size.She mothered every batch of foster kittens that came our way Unfortunately she developed cancer, and after a week of doing all her favourite things it was decided she didn't need any more pain or suffering and she died in my arms. I just hope her last 4 years made up for the first 2.5.
Rocky I am a senior citizen waiting to get into a senior citizen apt I can get a 30 lb dog You have taught me so much about dogs. I can’t wait to get in my new apartment and go to the pound is there a dog my last dog was a beautiful Pomeranian. I got him for free he abused ; 16 years we were together.

We adopted a rescue who had no idea what a dog toy was. It didn’t take long until he sought them out to carry going up and down the stairs and tossing them to himself when we were doing something else. Best dog ever.

i adopted my mia in november 2020 , she spent 6 long years in the shelter in romania and has since day one an awesome life with us! she is a gem, just amazing, funny, loving! it is crazy how they immediately know that they are home now. i could feel immediately that she knew by arrival that she has found her family. same with my megan that was a stray . give the ones that are overlooked a chance , i promise it is everything ❤❤❤ you are amazing sir, sending you and everyone loving their dogs a big hug from switzerland ✌️

My dog Reifley was definitely a work in progress when I found her. She had horrible separation anxiety from being neglected for days on end with her old owner. She was so scared of anything she didnt know also. And then, anytime she went for a walk or car ride or if she saw another dog or cat, she would get over excited to the point it was almost like a panic attack, just cause she had never experienced stuff and she so wanted to make friends with everyone. It was close to a year before I could say she was very improved from when I first got her. Another year and you would never guess how her life started. So yeah, it can definitely take a while before a rescue really adjusts fully to their new life. I could never be without Reifley now, it is so worth it! And she is so laid back now and chill. She has another dog and 3 cats in her new family now and they are all great friends.
Omg. This is absolutely the most heartbreaking story. Brings to me tears completely. Thank you rocky for giving this sweet girl a loud voice through your members. And for her to hear OUR loud voice that she deserves to live a beautiful life outside shelter walls.
This video made me so happy. I was sad earlier about some other dogs, but this video both of the dogs turned out so well I’m so happy thank you Rocky for everything you do for them.
Her puppy picture looks just like an Anatolian shepherd. I’m thinking she might be mixed with a giant schnauzer. I would love to get her. I work from home and am in a house with a back yard. I’m wanting a medium to large dog to go on long walks with. I’m getting fat from sitting around watching tv with cats in my lap. Right now the timing just isn’t right. I have a house full of orphaned kittens that I’m fostering. I have been doing this since Covid Lockdown started. I foster for one of the local rescues. I have saved the lives of many orphaned puppies and kitties.

I adopted a cattle dog mix in April of '23 from Helping Hands in Topeka. He was 3. I've enjoyed watching Bean's journey, it gives me an idea what he might have been like as a puppy.
Jacka probably would be better off with a female family, it would be less stressful for her. To be so timid around Rocky after all that time together tells the long term effects of her early life. All I'm going to say is, if the guy doesn't get jailed for this, the universe will step in anyway. He will get his karma, I truly believe that. I hope her family also find loving forever homes.😢😢❤🙏💟
We adopted two feral chihuahua mixes from New Mexico reservation. It took 3 months until my 1st kiss...PRICELESS!! The southwest shelters are packed with chihuahua crosses. Have had dogs 66 years and never had this strength of love.
She is so cute! The dark color on her ears and around her mouth and the addition that makes her look like she has eyebrows. I hope someone can adopt this sweet girl!

This is sooooooooo heartbreaking to see. I love this dog, I wish I could have this pup, I would give it all the love, spoiling, care and patience in the world, only i am too far away in Virginia. 😥
She is a lovely dog I can see she has a sweet temperament. I live in Barbados but If I was near by I would adopt her.

My dog Reifley was definitely a work in progress when I found her. She had horrible separation anxiety from being neglected for days on end with her old owner. She was so scared of anything she didnt know also. And then, anytime she went for a walk or car ride or if she saw another dog or cat, she would get over excited to the point it was almost like a panic attack, just cause she had never experienced stuff and she so wanted to make friends with everyone. It was close to a year before I could say she was very improved from when I first got her. Another year and you would never guess how her life started. So yeah, it can definitely take a while before a rescue really adjusts fully to their new life. I could never be without Reifley now, it is so worth it! And she is so laid back now and chill. She has another dog and 3 cats in her new family now and they are all great friends.
I think she is def part Komodor, I fell in love with Hungarian sheep dogs when I first saw then as a litte girl. SHE IS BEAUTIFUL!
Omg. This is absolutely the most heartbreaking story. Brings to me tears completely. Thank you rocky for giving this sweet girl a loud voice through your members. And for her to hear OUR loud voice that she deserves to live a beautiful life outside shelter walls.

Her puppy picture looks just like an Anatolian shepherd. I’m thinking she might be mixed with a giant schnauzer. I would love to get her. I work from home and am in a house with a back yard. I’m wanting a medium to large dog to go on long walks with. I’m getting fat from sitting around watching tv with cats in my lap. Right now the timing just isn’t right. I have a house full of orphaned kittens that I’m fostering. I have been doing this since Covid Lockdown started. I foster for one of the local rescues. I have saved the lives of many orphaned puppies and kitties.

I adopted a cattle dog mix in April of '23 from Helping Hands in Topeka. He was 3. I've enjoyed watching Bean's journey, it gives me an idea what he might have been like as a puppy.

Jacka probably would be better off with a female family, it would be less stressful for her. To be so timid around Rocky after all that time together tells the long term effects of her early life. All I'm going to say is, if the guy doesn't get jailed for this, the universe will step in anyway. He will get his karma, I truly believe that. I hope her family also find loving forever homes.😢😢❤🙏💟
We adopted two feral chihuahua mixes from New Mexico reservation. It took 3 months until my 1st kiss...PRICELESS!! The southwest shelters are packed with chihuahua crosses. Have had dogs 66 years and never had this strength of love.
