I'll take her!!! I'll need help to get her to Pennsylvania, but I'll take her! I've recently lost my husband and I have all the time in the world for her, all the love she deserves and I have had dogs before . I know what it takes to rescue a dog. I am serious. I would LOVE to give her a great, loving home with the security and safety she deserves!!!
I am sorry for your loss. Unfortunately they do not transport dogs. An adoptee has to go there, meet up with the staff and dog, before an adoption. But there are wonderful rescues in your state that pull dogs out of shelters and foster them. That way the dog can decompress after the stress of being in a shelter. The foster people can tell you all about the personalities so you match up ! Good luck finding your new best friend.
It doesn’t help one bit, I just wanted you to know, if I could fund you going after this baby, I absolutely would. I couldn’t fund owning her myself, and I’m not healthy enough for a dog that size, or a dog that young. All my critters are old critters, or have other folks to take care of them. I’m sorry for your loss, and wish all good things.
I was in a similar situation. I kept running into problems last fall. For awhile there was a mystery canine disease. I also ran into two different fosters who lied to me, and I suspected they were money scams. I was thinking the universe was preventing this. I quit looking, then one day there was a phone call. Now I'm back to believing that the dog you need will find you.
I just checked the website and it says UPDATE: Jocka has been ADOPTED!!!! The team is probably working on an update video or they will soon. I really hope that it works out🙏🥹💝. This made me so happy!!!
I'm a 55 year old construction contractor, I have been thru a lot of VERY difficult situations and consider myself to be a pretty tough and masculine man. I very seldom get emotional or let things get to me .. But I actually broke down watching what this poor beautiful dog has been through. I pray she has found true love and a human that she can take good care of. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU FOR WHAT YOUR DOING TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.
Thank you for your sensitivity (this is strength not weakness). This dog needs to know she is loved and life will be better. How she spent the 500 days of her life in the shelter I can’t comprehend.
Our sweet pup was in a shelter for over 2 years. She had no clue what to do with toys, was frozen in one spot the first week. Now she is the sweetest, happiest pup! We are so blessed! She LOVES snuggles!
If they got a hold of Lee Asher, of the Asher House in Oregon, he would certainly help with his dog. He’s got about 240 acres of sanctuary. He takes an all animals. Some he adopts out fosters some he keeps. What a better life that would be for this dog.
My state attorney was the one that pushed for animal cruelty to be a felony. He’s an avid rescue supporter and it came as a result of two horrid situations. One had 3 dogs thrown out of a moving vehicle over the guard rails to the expressway below. I fostered one during the criminal case. He eventually was released to be adopted and I cried when his adopter sent me a picture of their 3 year old leaning on him and reading him a book. They all had injuries which is why I had him. I do medical fostering. He had several beautiful years before he went to heaven.
When my son was 15yo, his 14yo dog crossed the rainbow bridge. A year later, he was ready for another dog. He didn't want a puppy, he wanted an older dog. We visited our shelter where this older fellow immediately took to my son. It was really something to see. They said he was an indoor dog and house trained. He came home with us that day. Imagine our surprise when we found he didn't like men. Took my husband months of letting the dog get to know him. He didn't want to play, was kind of lazy about taking walks (lol), but he was THE BEST DOG EVER. Strictly a companion animal, wanted nothing more than to just hang out with my son. Seven years later, he had to cross the rainbow bridge due to numerous cancers. The entire extended family was devastated. He was truly deeply loved, and gave that love in return. He would even share his large bed with the cats. We will forever miss him. ❤️
I'm sorry to hear your fur boy, your post brought tears to my eyes. I'm glad your son and the dog made an instant like for each other and that he was given a wonderfull life full of love.
Aw, you are so blessed! She truly is a beautiful soul, and I hope and pray that she soon finds the loving forever home that she deserves. I would adopt her in a second if I didn't have my 3 rescues. She's so sweet and adorable! Please give her lots of love from me if you get to walk her again.♥
My rescue spent her whole life in the shelter as well, 4+ years. She was abandoned as a pup her first year of life too. Every moment of frustration has been 100% worth it, and many don't have the time or patience for this kind of work. But the way they can melt our hearts so we become more human is supernatural. Thank you for being a redemptive force in these dogs' lives.
@@rockykanaka oh we definitely saved each other. Also your jerky is amazing and she loves it, I'm very glad to have found your channel. Bless you and your family 🙏
I live in Texas and a dog wouldn’t stay in a shelter for 4 years. They are euthanizing multiple dogs on a daily basis as the shelters are full. We have adopted all our dogs from a shelter.
Thank you for saving your rescue! And congratulations on the time you had! I am a veterinarian and I cry over every euthanasia but I am so thankful that I can provide that gift. Trust me. I watched my dad (born on his birthday) die from “round up” lymphoma. It took a week as I basically watched him drown because of the multi organ failure. We probably need to do more with shelter medicine. My son and girlfriend are both veterinarians as is my husband. Enough said, crying because pets are the best!
Why are these shelters doing that to these dogs? Keeping them prisoner for 4 years? Wtf? They mentioned in this video the dog wasn't available to be adopted until a couple days ago but had been there for years. What the heck is going on?
Omg that's great!! How long after do they usually take to edit the pupdates? I'm so glad to hear she found a home. What about the rest of her family, though?
Unfortunately, since she was involved in a legal case, she could not be in a home environment. There are so many restrictions for dogs who’ve been in abusive or neglectful situations, who are now “evidence”. 😞
Laws should definitely be changed in favor of the dogs I too rescued a tortured pup from a man who was teaching his 3 kids to be cruel but thanks to my chihuahua girl and kittens and other wild animals I was fostering he has turned into the sweetest dog has some cat and fox tendencies but it’s cute 🐾
@@ashleybencook Yes our shepard was involved Ina cruelty neglect case for a puppy mill. Took 7 baths just to get most of the smell out of her. Luckily they did let the dogs be fostered out after 6.months.
I cried watching this. I had a shut down puppy mill dog that I adopted in 2011 and lost her in 2021. She stayed in a timid state most of her life but had many wonderful years with me and her pack mates and my family. So there is always hope for her. I am so happy that when i looked for Jocka, I see she was adopted. Amen. Thanks to that family. Patience will make life awesome for her and for them. Unconditional love. Thanks for all involved in making Jocka and other animals lives better.
You can try to pass all the laws you want, it still won't stop some people from abusing animals, what needs to happen is to teach children to properly take care of animals... In First grade I had a teacher that started something called "SMORPO" Students for more responsible Pet Ownership" we would raise money for animal shelters, as well as we were taught many things about cats and dogs... I'm 60 now and it had a huge impact on my life... I have been doing animal rescue and fostering most of my life... SMORPO needs to be a thing in every school....
Laws help people stop abusing animals because JAIL stops people from abusing animals while they're in there. Phsycopaths who hurt animals become phsycopaths who hurt people.
I had a 5th grade teacher that had pets in the classroom and we students with permission from our parents would take them home for the weekend and care for them (and clean their cages). I adored that teacher and it was such a learning experience. It was great for us to learn empathy, kindness, and responsibility. I loved taking home the bunnies. They were so well behaved and soft.
That's a great idea! I believe we also need a nationwide animal abuse registry. And, I believe that a law should be emplaced that mandates that all animals should be spayed or neutered before being adopted or sold to the general public.
Have you ever thought dogs that meet you for the first time think "this dude must have really messed up to be locked in here with me!!" Perhaps they feel YOU need comforting. I love what you do.
I live 30 minutes from the Portland Oregon airport. My special friend of 14 years is gone. My husband of 43 years is gone. If no one wants this sweet dog I would love and give her home!
In the middle of my sob, I wondered how fast I could drive out there. It’s two days no matter how you slice it….. Rocky, I need to call my local shelter and see what I can do to be helpful . the right people will come along for that sweet pup !!! ❤
I will take her but I'm in South Florida! I'm 62 retired live in a big apartment complex with a dog park. I'm a dog whisperer. Was a 4-H winner dog trainer as a kid. Had my Sheepadoodle for 14 1/2 years and sadly had to put her down due to cancer. I'm next to Vero Beach Breeze Airways is 20 minutes from me. She needs grooming. She can sleep on the bed and sofa! ❤
I don't understand how any court situation should have been able to prevent this beautiful creature from becoming available for adoption. It's like she was the one being punished.
No, it's exactly the same over here 🇬🇧.. any animal that is part of an animal cruelty prosecution can't be adopted out until that court case is over.. even though these 4 beautiful dogs were seized in a cruelty case, they are still owned by that individual.. Once they are found guilty, then they are available for adoption.. They are classed as 'evidence ' in the case, so they are part of the prosecution . Yes, it's a shame for the animals.. but as Rocky said, if the laws were clearer and made it easier and quicker to prosecute, then these cases wouldn't take so long.
@@diannamarie464It's not just California. I believe that they have to keep the animals in case the offender is acquitted and given the opportunity to take back the animals as long as the courts haven't banned them from owning any animals again. It's like having dcs take children out of bad parenting situations and return them when the courts send the children back to the same thing. Some courts will make the owner pay the shelter for the care of the animals if they want them back. Or restitution will be added to the sentence if found guilty. Most of them just surrender the animals back to the shelter.
WATCH THIS VIDEO TILL THE END! You get to see the kennel worker playing with her and she's doing all kinds of tricks, her tail is wagging, she's so happy and cute! She would make the most amazing pet.
i work for animal shelters in poor condition... you dont know how many dogs are there for over 3 years and more.... thankfully those shelters dont ever kill dogs no matter hoe long theyre there, some dogs (that are really old and sick) are allowed to roam around the field (the shelters are mostly outside) freely like other workers and volunteers, therye our friends.
Well, America was a progressive country as some other countries are using birth control for animals we would not have to keep those who are not killed in shelters, there lies the problem and the solution.
@TheAstroflight and the "Aunt" was the third dog shown. It was a really tough case.If former owner was formally charged probably why she can now be adopted. Have they all been spayed and neutered or is that something that must wait until charges were formal?
I don't think she will be overlooked. She wasn't ignored before; as Rocky explained, the public wasn't allowed to see her while the court case against the former owner was ongoing. I think California needs some laws changed to allow puppies in this situation to be placed in some kind of foster care. The isolation can be damaging for life! Happily, that segment with Sam shows that Jaca is still very much a puppy, and puppies tend to be very resilient.
@@ravelanone9462Amen! Illinois had the laws changed because our state’s attorney is a huge dog lover and rescue supporter. We had two awful cases. The dogs were able to be placed into foster homes until the trial was over and sentencing done. He’s pushed animal cruelty charges to become federal offenses now. I had a big hippo sweetheart who had been thrown out of a moving van with two other dogs on the expressway. All 3 had injuries. I had the biggest guy. He was such a love, even after his mistreatment. He was eventually adopted by a family with a 3 year old girl. First photo I got was her laying on the side of the dog like he was a couch and she was reading her book to him. He had several great years before he crossed the rainbow bridge.
@@rockykanaka If the perps were out on bail, the dogs should be, too. It's unfortunate that dogs are legally property when we all know that they're furry "people". My dogs have been the best "people" I've ever known.
@@Buzzby4020 Exactly! The law understands that dogs and other companion animals have basic rights, hence animal cruelty charges can rise to felonies, but it needs to go further and consider their well-being as sensitive, sentient individuals. The law should protect them as it would protect the well-being of a child or any other person who can’t advocate for herself. (I’m not saying the system is perfect in any of those situations, but improvements are needed in the basic way the law sees companion animals.)
My sweet baby girl, Iris, a German Shepherd/Husky mix, was in the shelter for almost a year when I adopted her in March. She's a senior, 9 years old. When she came home with me, she really struggled with separation anxiety. She had been fostered twice and returned within days because of her anxiety. Now, almost 4 months later, it's like she and I have been together for years. She's a major cuddle bug, loves to talk, and has an opinion about everything. Her anxiety is virtually non-existent. There's nothing quite like the bond that's formed when you find your special shelter rescue!
She needed to know it was for real & forever & not going to be abandoned again. Takes time to put what they’ve been thru behind them. Amazed how we understand we need time to move forward, to heal, to make progress, but feel animals don’t need the same.
She appears to be completely demoralized! I know she has been treated very well but the fact she has not be able to be with a family or out in the world has affected her spirit 😢😢.
I live in Michigan, if you can arrange travel we'll love, love, love her! We went from 3 cats and 2 big dogs, to only a very sweet Great Pyrenees boy who needs a friend to help care for. Fenced yard, walks, treats and good food! We'd love her every moment... God bless this sweet girl and best wishes to her... ❤️
Binger - you figuring out the travel shows you can afford and love her by putting her comfort before your convenience. You SOUND like a perfect match for this beautiful, intelligent being. She'll be fine once she's in a normal environment - you can tell by the way she plays with the gal the next morning. Another dog is perfect to teach her everything she needs to know. Git her done! Good luck!!!!
This poor baby, I pray that she gets a loving forever home very soon. Adopted a shut down dog from a shelter where she had been for a few years and with lots of love and compassion she was able to break through this. It took almost a year with my family showing love and patience for her to finally not be shut down but man, she was so well worth it. She was my German Shepherd named Pepper who eventually died of bone cancer and we kept her with us until she passed.
@@jerig2820 I’m so saddened to hear about your loss too. You’re right, it’s a shame that our beloved fur children don’t live as long as we do but I am sure that you agree that it would be awful to have them live longer but sick and suffering from incurable diseases. I miss Pepper but knowing that she has crossed over the Rainbow 🌈 Bridge is what makes me less sad
This is so heartbreaking. Jacka is so beautiful. Thankfully she was rescued from the horrible condition she was in. I pray this girl gets a lifetime of love, snuggles, toys, and treats for the rest of her life. Sending love to Jacka.❤🐶 Thank you for all you do for these precious souls.
She didn’t utter a sound for months and months and was afraid of everything! She was absolutely terrified of FLYS. It we overcame all of her fears one by one. She is now a very confident 18 yr old sweetheart and I don’t know what I would do without her. ‘Cause she saved my life too !!!
@@rockykanaka Thank you so much for what you do and helping this precious pup!!!!! I adopted my dog out of a shelter in Spain. He is a Sweetheart. I am thinking of adopting more dogs. Greetings from Germany
I do not understand why this dog was not confiscated when she was found. Two years of a lawsuit is ridiculous. The owners should have never been allowed to own any animal. Our pets have always been an equal member of the family. Two of our cats lived to 20+ years old. I think part of that was unconditional love and good vet care
I think she is a Bouvier de Flandres (Belgian Cattle Dog). Had one just like her in Sydney Australia - same colour, same markings. Beautiful temperament. We adored her. Breaks my heart watching this 💔
She has to be part Irish Wolfhound! And that is wonderful thing because a Wolfhound is a sentient, gentle and devoted creature with a beautiful soul. My son had a 170 pound Wolfie named Seamus, one of the greatest dogs we ever had. They don’t live nearly long enough but what dog does? I say all this because I hope she finds the family and “her person” who will celebrate her every day and love every pound of her. She is a prize.
I really wish it was easier to find updates on these dogs ...it breaks my heart to watch these vidoes from the UK. I have done a Google search and it seems Jocka has been adopted now, so i am delighted!
She’s so beautiful! I can tell she has a sweet soul. I would take her in a heartbeat if I lived closer. She will definitely be worth the time it takes to help her heal and become whole again.
Omg. This is absolutely the most heartbreaking story. Brings to me tears completely. Thank you rocky for giving this sweet girl a loud voice through your members. And for her to hear OUR loud voice that she deserves to live a beautiful life outside shelter walls.
Sweet angel. ❤️ I love that face! I adopted a dog that was confiscated by animal control from a household that was starving him. It took 6 months for him to not act 100% feral. It took everal more months for him to finally join our family like a pet. It took some work, but not much. Mostly patience and love. He finally gained our trust. He stayed a bit skittish and aloof all of his life (like Australian Shepherds often are), but we gave him the good life for 13 years. We had to let him go last month. 😪 Dogs are too good for us!
It's so very hard, and sometimes so wonderful when we adopt the "unadoptables" and give them forgiveness for their fears and quirks. Some never get over all their fears, but when they do...sheer bliss in knowing we've saved a wonderful life worth saving. And for the ones who always hold their concerns: we gave them a safe haven, and it helps our hearts grow in compassion, tolerance, and appreciation. Thank you for sharing your story. It reminds us that not everything is healed...but it still offers us a gift of tolerance and unending love.
Rocky, have yall considered contacting Asher House? I think he would love the story and maybe take her and her family that have been there for so long. That would be so cool for her to have freedom of a pack and a beautiful hundreds of acres that Lee Asher has.
She's beautiful! 😍😍😍 After hearing that she's a livestock guardian dog mix, her behavior makes total sense. They are naturally skeptical of strangers and they need a job. They also DO NOT like tiny places like that one room. Poor baby girl.
There is nothing as great a feeling as rescuing a dog or cat. I rescued my little Yorkie, Daisy, 8 years ago. I always had cats, and this dog. I didn’t care about the breed, she was so tiny and cute. There were 40 people ahead of me to adopt, so I went around praying to God to please let me have her. After about an hour, after picking up things I knew I whould need, I went up to the person in charge and she told me this. She couldn’t understand it but no one showed up who wanted to see and adopt her. I told her I was praying to God to let me be the one and he answered my prayer. She was mine. To this day I think about this and thank God. She is now a diabetic, blind because of it and has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart. I don’t know how much longer I will have her but I gave her the very best life a person could give. She’s my little sweetheart, my companion, and I have no regrets buying her medication and special food. God always supplies my needs for her because I am very low income. Each month He comes through. I am forever grateful. ✝️
I was looking for a companion for my Pomeranian, so I spent weeks going to my local shelter every day to try to find the right dog. I finally found my boy Corbin who was terrified of people, obviously abused, terrified of any noise. When I met him, they brought him into the room and he sat next to me, he didn't really want to get pet or anything, but I saw him cuddling with the other dogs. I knew that it would work because he needed another dog so did my girl. Once I had done the paperwork, the shelter staff plopped him into my arms. When we got into the car he attached himself to my neck and wouldn't move. Sometimes even if they are scared, just knowing they are leaving the shelter is enough to help them connect. I have had him 4 and a half years now and he still has problems, but he is the most loving dog I have ever had.
She is still available but you have to visit her in person and arrange your own means of transport to bring her home. Bless her and you all for all of your efforts to help these beautiful souls.
I recently adopted a dog and I often wonder why she was running the streets and who would give her up or let her go. I am still trying to figure out why she wasn’t chipped or why nobody claimed her. She’s a Papillon who was not treated well in her last home. This sweet baby here deserves to be loved and adored in a forever home. ❤
Both of my adopted little dogs were strays, running the streets. I also wondered how anyone would let them go. But when I used to watch the series Lucky Dog, Brandon McMillan used to say one of the most important things to teach them is not to dash out the door because that's how they become strays. Totally made sense. When I first got them my Bichon mix, she would scoot out of the car the second the car door opened, my terrier mix would be in a panic to bolt out when any door opened. I've since trained them to wait, also they're micro chipped of course.
She has only just become available for adoption because of an ongoing court case with the owner. She is so pretty and sweet so hopefully she will be adopted soon.
We have six dogs, 135lbs down to 6 pounds. It's a lot of work. Love them all. A cat and and house sparrrow and 23 fish. No kids. But it is a lot of work, but when I am sleeping and my big Eastern Eruopen puts his face one mine, and my littte ones get between my legs, I sleep well, and they sleep well. Worth it.
I will say that we save money and feed them well. We mix high quality dog food with homemade rice chicken and corn and peas, with some rosemarry. They love it and it actually cost less to make food for them than to buy it. And Rocky, we have one of your Tees.
Thank you for sharing the difficulties animal control has in order to do their jobs. A friend of mine in animal control had to ignore calls while a deer was dying in a road, keeping bystanders away so that she could have a peaceful, respectful death. It's a truly hard job. My own adopted dog lived with a known animal abuser during his puppyhood...no way for animal control to deal with this until this scared pup was turned into the shelter and the truth came out. But we are having a happy ending; my adopted boy is a great joy in my life!
This really surprised me to see how reticent she behaved in a place that I know is full of kind and lovely people. It has shown me how awful shelter life can be for a dog.
If she actually is an Anatolian Shepherd cross, they are extremely cautious of strangers by nature. They are a guardian breed and are great on a farm as livestock protectors. She will require a lot of time and patience but it will be worth it when she feels secure in her new family.
Please Lord…let someone give this poor baby a beautiful life filled with love and patience.❤ Sam is amazing. Jacka is the most special story I have seen here. Brought me to tears.
I rescued a retired Greyhound that had only lived in a kennel when not racing, for his 1st three years of life, then had been transfered to a series of No Kill shelters, where he lived in kennels & was moved every 90 days to another shelter, for 3 more years. He was so sweet and gentle, but shut down for about 1 year after I rescued him. My Great Dane loved him and would try to snuggle him, we walked a lot together, and finally after about a year he started opening up and letting us all love on him. It's such a very sad life, no social connections formed, no joy. Very sad, very difficult on their mental health.
@susanbeals7597 greyhounds are just the best! ❤ Its such a shame when theyre abandoned as ex racing dogs. Ive spent time with a few in these circumstances in shelters
I hope she got adopted… I had an Anatolian shepherd many moons ago and she definitely is part AS… Her mannerisms, coloring and shape are definitely AS. She’s just fuzzier!❤
Can we talk about how amazing Sam is for working with her??? She’s like a different dog with Sam and that’s the result of many hours spent helping her.
I would take her, but I'm in Florida. I've been looking for a female large dog since my husband died. I'm set up and have 3 small dogs for companionship for her. She is a beauty. I am retired and stay home, fenced yard, but all my dogs stay inside by my side.
After watching Caka's story I joined your channel and I will be going to my local shelter to see what I can do for them. We have had 6 rescue dogs in the last 45 years and I would never have any other kind of dog. Thank you doing the work you do. Trish
Thank you for bringing Sam in so we could see that Jacka has happy moments. What a sweetheart. So good to hear that someone was actually charged for the cruelty to those four souls. I feel a quick adoption for her. And Beeeeeeeaaaannnnnn!! That little nugget will be scooped up for sure! He has my heart. I’ve had a few cattle dog mixes…including one now. They are such amazing dogs. ❤❤❤
I was blessed 14 years ago to adopt a mix black lab from a shelter. I wasn't intending on getting another dog. But for some reason I pulled into a shelter and came across Kylie. I felt so sorry for her because the sign on her kennel door said she was there for 3 years. She past in 2022. She was just like this dog she took about 2 years to come out of her shell with our assistance and her sister pup in our home. We loved her so much. She was the best. This doggie Jaka will do the same with patience and love. I am so happy Jaka was finally adopted. 💓 ❤

what a good good news !!! thank you !
❤
Awesome 😊
Yeah, thanks for the update. I wish her and her family much happiness and a long life together.
I'm a 55 year old construction contractor, I have been thru a lot of VERY difficult situations and consider myself to be a pretty tough and masculine man. I very seldom get emotional or let things get to me
.. But I actually broke down watching what this poor beautiful dog has been through. I pray she has found true love and a human that she can take good care of. GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU FOR WHAT YOUR DOING TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE.
Amen.
❤
Thank you for your sensitivity (this is strength not weakness). This dog needs to know she is loved and life will be better. How she spent the 500 days of her life in the shelter I can’t comprehend.
@@jlm3303 Jocka got adopted!!! 💕🕊️
I've got to say God bless you for being a caring, thoughtful person.
Our sweet pup was in a shelter for over 2 years. She had no clue what to do with toys, was frozen in one spot the first week. Now she is the sweetest, happiest pup! We are so blessed! She LOVES snuggles!
Thank you for sharing your success with everyone! That always makes me feel better to know they get better!! ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for taking a chance on your pet and giving him time and patience to adjust.
If they got a hold of Lee Asher, of the Asher House in Oregon, he would certainly help with his dog. He’s got about 240 acres of sanctuary. He takes an all animals. Some he adopts out fosters some he keeps. What a better life that would be for this dog.
@@debralopeznacario6175 Agreed! The two MOST ACTIVE and special dog rescuers/savers in the world! They could save this pup! Absolutely! ❤️ 💙 💜
Ohhh my heart😢
My state attorney was the one that pushed for animal cruelty to be a felony. He’s an avid rescue supporter and it came as a result of two horrid situations. One had 3 dogs thrown out of a moving vehicle over the guard rails to the expressway below. I fostered one during the criminal case. He eventually was released to be adopted and I cried when his adopter sent me a picture of their 3 year old leaning on him and reading him a book. They all had injuries which is why I had him. I do medical fostering. He had several beautiful years before he went to heaven.
That is great that the state attorney did that and thank you for fostering. Fosters are HEROS!
Who is this wonderful state attorney? I would love to send them a thank you!
What state are you in?
Thank you ❤
Thank you and your state atty. And the adoptive family😍❤️💖🎉
She’s looking 👀 like 👍 my type of dog.😂😢😮😅
If you’re able to ship 🚢 her to the NZ I will have her.
I'm sorry to hear your fur boy, your post brought tears to my eyes. I'm glad your son and the dog made an instant like for each other and that he was given a wonderfull life full of love.

Wow thank you for saving her!
So happy to find out she was adopted! Can’t wait to hear her pupdate ❤
Omg that's great!! How long after do they usually take to edit the pupdates? I'm so glad to hear she found a home. What about the rest of her family, though?
how do you know Jocka was adopted? Someone please update. I've been coming back to this video and waiting to see if she's been adopted.
Just because she went on a walk how do you know she was adopted?
@@hisbeloved10 if you go on her profile for adoption iit's writen that she has been adopted!!
It's a shame she couldn't have stayed in a foster situation rather than the shelter. Poor baby!
We need so many more fosters around the country.
We’re all responsible for that. If only all of us could step up for ONE foster pet
What a beautiful, fluffy, gentle soul. I hope whoever adopts her works really hard to prove that humans are worth trusting
Excellent idea.
That is beautiful and so true!! Education is key and Rocky & Fam are doing fabulous!
Have you ever thought dogs that meet you for the first time think "this dude must have really messed up to be locked in here with me!!" Perhaps they feel YOU need comforting. I love what you do.

In FL am over 3000 miles away...😢
I don't understand how any court situation should have been able to prevent this beautiful creature from becoming available for adoption. It's like she was the one being punished.
I totally agree, shameful!
Sounds strange to me too. Maybe because she is considered "evidence" and they may need her as an "Exhibit", as horrible as that sounds.😢
That's the California court system! It stinks!
No dog should ever spend that long in a shelter. None.
i work for animal shelters in poor condition... you dont know how many dogs are there for over 3 years and more.... thankfully those shelters dont ever kill dogs no matter hoe long theyre there, some dogs (that are really old and sick) are allowed to roam around the field (the shelters are mostly outside) freely like other workers and volunteers, therye our friends.
Well, America was a progressive country as some other countries are using birth control for animals we would not have to keep those who are not killed in shelters, there lies the problem and the solution.
Why you talk so much.........
She looks like Rocky.
@TheAstroflight and the "Aunt" was the third dog shown. It was a really tough case.If former owner was formally charged probably why she can now be adopted. Have they all been spayed and neutered or is that something that must wait until charges were formal?
She is so closed off and suspicious. Even though I'm certain she was treated well there, how can she continue to be overlooked??💜
Well she just came available for adoption because before the case wouldn’t allow her to be adopted
This breaks my heart. I pray she gets adopted. Thank you Rocky for your amazing work.
When her size was mentioned the first thing I thought of was Irish wolfhound.
God bless you x
4 months. It does take time just like it would for 2 humans to get used to each other
I love this beautiful story.
She's a doll. Her story is heartbreaking.
I live in Michigan, if you can arrange travel we'll love, love, love her! We went from 3 cats and 2 big dogs, to only a very sweet Great Pyrenees boy who needs a friend to help care for. I am already crying for this poor girl.

Omg, the entire family is there. They're all beautiful.
She is so beautiful
She looks like a wolfhound to me. Mixed with something. Such a sweet girl.
I agee that, despite the parents and the auntie, there's a Wolfhound in the mix. Where did that come from? Who knows?
livestock guardian dog
I totally agree with you!
Rocky grooming her would show the beautiful and sweet dog she is. My heart is breaking for her.
I really wish it was easier to find updates on these dogs
...it breaks my heart to watch these vidoes from the UK.
Please get that sweetie a fluffy blanket or bed. I foster dogs and this breaks my ❤️. Sending lots of hugs and virtual treats
She’s BEAUTIFUL. 😢
When you said “ You’re Loved” her ears perked right up❤

She's beautiful! 😍😍😍
After hearing that she's a livestock guardian dog mix, her behavior makes total sense.
I have a rescued dog for 18+ and he is still with us. My two cats are rescued.
You were the lucky one who managed to adopt her because you contacted the big boss- God Himself. Such is the power of prayer 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
Thank you for loving Corbin. You have changed his life.❤❤
She is still available but you have to visit her in person and arrange your own means of transport to bring her home. Bless her and you all for all of your efforts to help these beautiful souls.
This dog, being in the shelter her whole life, made me cry, from the moment I started watching this video. Poor baby. Why hasn't she been adopted?
Did you watch the video? It was thoroughly explained
She has been adopted now. Hopefully we get a pupdate soon,
That dog would be the most wonderful companion for a woman living alone. I know i would feel safe and loved.

Jocka
She's a beautiful dog. It's a shock she wasn't adopted
Crying for what she has been through poor baby love her ❤
Turned out she's not crying -- she's sitting on a squeaker toy.
How she gets passed over I don’t know, such a unique look. She’s beautiful.

Worth it.
a cat and a sparrow and 6 dogs.. you are living my dream friend. Enjoy!
@@missfires7852 Thank you.
That lady should adopt her. The dog got happy to see her.
That is so sad. Poor baby, she looks so sad and needs some love.
She is a beautiful girl! Her eyes are so sad. She has so much love to give and to get
Please Lord…let someone give this poor baby a beautiful life filled with love and patience.❤ Sam is amazing.
She is not part AS. They showed her parents.
Can we talk about how amazing Sam is for working with her??? She’s like a different dog with Sam and that’s the result of many hours spent helping her.
I just want to take her home so bad! I really hope she gets a forever home. Poor baby!
I would take her, but I'm in Florida. I've been looking for a female large dog since my husband died. I'm set up and have 3 small dogs for companionship for her. She is a beauty. I am retired and stay home, fenced yard, but all my dogs stay inside by my side.
She looks like the dog in the 1960 Doris Day movie " Please Don't Eat The Daisies". She deserves a good home of fun and love!❤!
Kinda yes, but I thought that's a sheepdog.
Beans grooming session went great! What a good experience for him! Bean is on the mend and ready for a loving home😇❤️ thank you for loving Bean!
What a gorgeous Sweetheart ❣️ I wish you a loving home as soon as possible 💕
I am hoping this helps lead to that ❤️
Gorgeous Jocka deserves to be treated like royalty 👑. Whoever adopts her will be lucky to have a companion as majestic as she is.
After watching Caka's story I joined your channel and I will be going to my local shelter to see what I can do for them.
We have had 6 rescue dogs in the last 45 years and I would never have any other kind of dog.
Thank you doing the work you do.
Trish
Who is Caka? That means poop. I don't think a dog was named that. Correct me if I'm wrong but I haven't seen a video about a dog with this name.
Thank you for showcasing Sam….living, playing generous heart.
Sam is really great 😊
Thank you for bringing Sam in so we could see that Jacka has happy moments.
OMG this puppy story made my eyes sweat for sure. So is it my understanding that none of her family has been adopted yet? They are all such beautiful dogs. I just can’t say goodbye without thanking you for all that you do. You are the only TH-camr that I donate to. Love you love what you do and I love that coffee. GO BEAN♥️
Same here too, I joined and ordered 2 coffees to try out, both are good, but I just order 6 more coffees of the dark roast, on a subscription on a 2 month subscription basis
Never seen either one of those dogs
@@JuanitaClarkGarcia don't forget they've been isolated due to the dragged out court case. They've all just been released for adoption. poor babies!
@@synchronicity1470 actually, I meant, I've never seen either type of those dogs. Or even heard of them, just glad they are safe and hope they find good homes.

That's due to the protocal to keep current on-going cases private. It's in the Constitution.
Jakka obviously feels safe with Sam. Sending best thoughts for her perfect home!❤️
Oh my goodness, she is so gorgeous. I just want to hug her and hold her in my loving arms. X
She has such a noble, wise face. I want the very very best for her future.💕
This makes me cry. She is so beautiful. Thank You for what You do, Rocky
Oh to be younger and in better health so I could adopt this beautiful dog. Those eyes - you could get lost in them! I pray she gets a wonderful, loving home.
Thank you for all you and your family do 🙏
Gotta say, she rather calm. Tail is relaxed...
So sweet of Rocky sitting with her, that gives her a MASSIVE chance of gettind adopted.
This is a true hero, who knows and cares for this dog, but knows there is a better place for this dog. I don’t know if I could have the strength to do this, but I admire your strength of character, to do what is best for this dog.
My heart is breaking for her.😢
This so,so,so breaks my heart that she has been there 500 plus days. She is so beautiful and who wouldn’t want this cutie. Please let’s get her a home with lots of love.
What a beautiful girl with such a sad story. I hope she finds the wonderful home that she deserves soon.
Jaca is gorgeous and sweet and I'm sure she'll find a family soon! That segment with her alone with Sam was a stroke of genius--so important for people to see! Also, Rocky, thank you so much for the update on our adorable little Bean! You know we're hoping for updates and you always deliver! I love my Flip Coffee shirt and will get over to your site and order a Sitting with Dogs shirt, too. (High quality and washes up perfectly.) 🐶
This is heartbreaking. Jakka is such a pretty sweet girl. I pray her and her family find a forever home soon.❤❤❤😊😊😊😊
She's absolutely gorgeous! It's nice to see that she's been adopted. I know that she has made a family very happy and visa versa. 💖🥰
Hard to imagine. I can’t imagine her heart wondering if this is all there is to life. Asking, “Why was I born?” She deserves so much more. Just wagging her tail when she sees a family member come home, getting to go for a ride, getting loved on. Praying someone sees her and finds a place in someone’s heart, and home
Rocky, the thanks go to you and your support team, we are animal lovers and activists who just want what if fair for these loving companions.
That poor fur baby looks traumatized. Someone needs to get this poor girl & show lots of love! ❤
What a sweet dog. But her story is so sad! Thanks for your help...
