Hi Matt, I learned about the ‘shak’em-up’ using the bear paws. The recoil and the breathing go great together.
    Thanks for the teaching.

Thanks for focusing on the somatic/kinesthetic and linking to working with the unconscious/subconscious. Very helpful ideas and movements.

When you’re healthy, it will energize you in the morning and afternoon. It won’t make you sleepy. But it can also be used to relax before bed

A good way to get the stagnant fluids moving. A lifetime of too much Insulin circulating in the body destroy the very fine capillaries and veins, starting in the legs and eyes.

Cool technique. Yea, for some people, spicy food is not a good thing, especially if you are doing 'native' quantities of spice whether curry, some type of pepper, ginger, etc. People in many Asian countries have the microbiome to handle heavy amounts of native spices. Western people - not so much.

This should have been obvious to me from just watching the video--but maybe don't do this if you still have things to get done for the day. Now I'm longing for a nap 😆

If you wanna get really deep, each organ has a sound you can make--the five organs to focus on being heart lungs liver spleen kidneys...theres even parts of the body to massage or shake, emotions associated with each organ and even colors. Theres prob a lot more associations you can incorporate if they work for you.

    Hello Matt,
i have a question about the combat conditioning workout. I am a beginner and on the days that I go to martial arts, I no longer have the energy to do the combat conditioning workout. Can I still make progress if I do it 4-5 times a week?

Maybe he should have figured out after the 2nd time to stay away from hot spicy foods so that way you don’t have to keep jumping out of bed every hour to do the Hokey Pokey just to get another hour of sleep. Or maybe take some Zantac or Pepcid before eating spicy foods.
