This channel is an easy sub just got this game and awaiting delivery of a Fanatec V2.5 with V3 pedals so looking forward to playing this. Very detailed videos which I think will not only improve my understanding of the track but will help me understand correct racing lines I should be aiming for great work man.

Just got ACC almost two weeks ago and a few of these tracks like Paul Ricard, Zandvoort and Kyalami are completely new to me in games. The depth of this video is superb and I can see myself coming back repeatedly as I learn to get myself to a competent level. Thank you so much 🤝

@@Zermatt1 I'll probably be using the 488 too. It seems like quite a safe car while I figure out the handling characteristics and learn to extract as much speed as possible on new tracks, as I'm new to sim racing with a wheel in general. I typically hate tracks with vague reference points and wide sweeping corners so don't be surprised to see the view count go up 500 times in the next week alone haha
RL haha by all means watch 500 times haha! Ferrari is a very predictable car which makes it a great starting one, it’s a fantastic all rounder in cold and hot conditions and the wet as well, so you picked the perfect one to start with!
@@Zermatt1 just a quick noob question because I've been scratching my head a bit lately. On day one with the game (30th of August) I did a hotlap with the 488 at Spa and the tyre app showed my tyre pressures weren't optimal until they reached 27.5psi on the low end, and the same in my early career races. Yesterday I was driving the Nismo while learning Misano and the middle height indicator on the app didn't level out until 26.8psi, and it became overinflated when it reached 27.8psi. I tried the 488 at Spa again and the range was 26.8 - 27.8psi for that too.
I'm on PS4 but I assume you're on PC and was wondering if you'd noticed the same? None of the recent updates have mentioned anything about tyres so I was a bit stumped and wondering if something else like track/air temps, mode or setup affect the optimal range! :)

Great track guide. One thing I would like is a bit more detail on the actual setup as to why you have certain values, for example you run a very high preload compared to the aggresive setup in acc. Also very low bumpstop range at front.

Thanks for feedback, I think when this series ends I’ll do a tuning specific series on how to build up a tune from scratch. Just time constrained right now a fair bit so keep your eyes peeled (maybe start keeping them peeled in the new year ha!)

Could I ask a favour of you? I’ve only been sim-racing for about 5 weeks, and if I use Paul Ricard as an example, I am stuck in a zone about 6 seconds off. I can do regular 2.00 with the occasional 1.59 but that’s about as good as it gets. If I were to record a couple flying laps could you watch them and maybe give me some pointers as to what I can do to improve?
