Then again, one of the best track guide out there. They could be more up to date but even being outdated, they remain the best.

Many thanks for all the effort you (and Leo) put into Monza. I've lots to learn, practice, and hopefully improve down the road 😉
i cannot do this at low TC; I keep losing grip exiting the corners especially when I’m trying to pump the accelerator on the exit as early as possible. But that’s just my skill level! This guide was super helpful
This is again a awesome Track guide but the clipped Mic Audio is ear rape :D
I'm 20 hours into ACC and found that keeping the ideal line on too long stopped me learning the track properly and wasn't using enough of the track due to concentrating on following the ideal line. Can mess your breaking points up too.

Hi. Can it be that the BOP is better on thr LFM License Server? I was 1 to 2 seconds faster than my regular Training time. I did my Licence Run Yesterday and managed an average Time of 1.35:X which is my overall best Time. On all the other Laps i did on the Puplic Servers my best Time was a high 1:36 and average about 1:37:X At this Point thanks for your Guide it helped me to improve my Lap Times at two Corners i struggled in the past. For Anybody who is interested, I made a Video of my Licence Run, you can find it on my Channel :)

Very new to sim racing, been primarily a Forza fan but im hooked on ACC, started with the Porsche just love them but it kept stepping out so switched to the Audi R8, have no driving lines on, my best time is 02:23:09 and im caning it, i know im losing time after O roughe but hopefully this guide will help h
OMG I'm doing a 2.20 around here, I guess I have allot to learn. It would be nice if setting up the car was not so difficult.

Fantastic video & commentary, a BIG help for everyone I'm sure but especially us less experienced types! Some questions please; going to SETSBASE to buy this setup but it has a "Sold Out" message? If that can be rectified can I also ask are the setups suitable for version 1.9.4 and console?

@@Zermatt1 Cheers mate, am pretty sure their setups are PC only (am on XBOX currently) but will double check.
Those bumps seem to be random, they do not relate to the real track which I have driven.

Could you tell me what to do to get off throttle turn in without making the rear to loose i set camber trough out telemetary so inner mid and outside even arb's and springs are tuned by weight distribution if i have 50% i do .50x.50x13-13 =9.7 rebound then i take 9.7/by 3x1.8=5.8 or the nearest for the bump my kw v3 in real life should be bump 2/3 of the rebound i find it hard to gain faster times by random tuning because im not precise enough there are ppl using same cars including tcs who are like 3sec faster with a 6.0 handling ford gt 05 weird if it whas possible to maybe do a tune together if you had the time like in a party just so i can have only one tuning goal 😅i tried 4 different formulas for reb and bump but cant make up my mind witch is best to do some feel really good but are slow af 😂 good vid 😉
How much I love your track guides man?! I really like how you explain all we need to know about braking, steering and throttle in every step of the track. Your editing - with pauses, slow motions, different camera angles, replays - really helps us to better understand how to deal with the car and the track. WELLDONE!

Great video! But could you explain "mini double apex"?
Apologies for the delay. Certainly. Instead of having one apex, you will have two apexes in some of these slow corners around zandvoort. If you take turn 4 (the banked one in real life now) then a lot of people will take a constant arc around the inside here and lose a small opportunity to cut back straighter and apply full throttle faster. Very nice way of explaining a track !👌 I'm a beginner and until now, still something like five seconds off from other players best lap times, probably because of my inferior hardware.(At least that's what I hope it is !!!???😁(I have an ancient "Logitech Wingman Formula Force GP" (just from within this century); it has some feedback, but I think/hope the biggest issue is that it can only turn 90 degrees each way, which makes it almost impossible to catch any unsettlements; at least in my hands. As a result, I can only drive Safe setups and even then don't take it to the edge. (Even now I have something like 50 hours in ACC and did something like 4 hours on the Monza track. I think the sections where you have fast, adjacent corners like the Ascari complex (or Maggotts, Becketts, Chapel on Solverstone) are where I loose most time.) But then again, I've seen others play on controllers, which goes beyond my imagination in relation to being quick; yet, in many cases they are though. (Respect !) Anyway, the combined limitations of me and my hardware also kept me from playing in online/multiplayer thus far (I just don't want to spoil other players fun), so instead I just race against AI (meanwhile got to 93% with 100% aggression), but some say "that's not very useful or not very realistic", because AI is predictable, where human players aren't. => What do you think ? Get yourself to a baseline on hardware, I had nothing special, G920, that's all. The best investment you can make into yourself in sim racing is coaching and some sort of structure to 'training'. Hardware is 0.5% of the challenge.

Your track guides help very much. One thing that helps me as well I try to get a clean lap. Then I try different approaches to corners and lines of track and watch the timer if it's faster or slower. Than I watch your guide and realize I'm still way off lol

I am way to late, but i struggled a lot with this car onm this Track. After watching and learning, i startet again, gained over 3 Sec and got a PB within 5 rounds. Great work! :O This is what i need <3

It's just the replay camera doesn't show it very well.
There are SOO many places I need to improve on this track. Considering my PB is a measly 2:05.779, there are massive gains yet to be had. Now to practice, practice, practice. Thanks for the help.

Hello mate 👏 Thank you very much for this video, absolutely brilliant guide. Was struggling to find a proper lap guide for this track with a GT4 car and you my good sir absolutely nailed it 👍 Don't know if you'll see my comment but I'll leave a question regardless: I'm going to use the Audi R8 GT4 rather the Mercedes you're using in this video and I've noticed that you're using different gears to make the turns of those i use in the Audi (I'm always using one gear above the one you're using because it feels that if i use the same gears it will hit the rev limiter almost instantly). Are the gear ratios on GT4 tuned to be same or every car has it's own ratios? Thank you very much 👍
