    Do you remember what year the mandatory pretrip requirement to twist each lug nut by hand was established?

    • @20plustrucking
      @20plustrucking  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@djohnX5 I really don't know when they made that mandatory. Seems like it's been the last couple of years that I keep hearing that it's mandatory. It may be mandatory but I doubt even half the drivers are actually doing that. Just my guess.

    How are you always so calm? I never see frustration!

      Have you met my wife? I believe she has a different take on that lol In the early days I wasn't calm at all I was very frustrated unfortunately my wife had to hear a lot of that on the phone. After a decade I calmed way down because everything became like second nature when driving a truck.

      Im certain his schedule helps this. Imagine getting 5 days off, or 15 days if you take a week how refreshed you would feel. I've been on the 5/5 a couple times and its refreshing. Also, we work at Walmart what's there to be stressed about?

    I start onboarding this coming Monday.
    How does walmart schedule their appointments for deliveries.
    When ever my last employer delivered to a DC, it was normally a set appt. time. If delivering to a store, it was normally a window.

      Right on that's awesome! Appointments at a vendor is pretty lax You kind of get there when you get there. Although there are a few vendors that have a strict time. As far as a DC or a store goes there is a window with an absolute time. Generally we always deliver DC's and stores way earlier than the delivery time.

    Do other drivers drive your truck when you are off

      Yep

      Occasionally other drivers drive my truck but since I've had a partner it's the same person every week that drives it. It actually works out quite well if you just share a truck with one other person and get along with them and most importantly communicate well.

    Great video! So do you drive more miles than activity?

    • @20plustrucking
      @20plustrucking  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It depends on what I'm doing each week. If I'm running groceries out of McCarran Nevada or Grandview Washington then it lands up being more activity than miles if it's a multiple stop with a backhaul. Although if I'm doing general merchandise then it lands up being more miles than activity. So it just depends on what's happening each week.

    Can you show me a copy of how your 5 on 5 off schedule looks

    • @20plustrucking
      @20plustrucking  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It's pretty simple it's just work 5 days then get 5 days off. Other than that I just check in with the office to see if I can work random days off throughout the year to make extra money.
