Alongside the 38 and 38A, they should never have been downsized in the first place. It was just an excuse to get rid of all the ALX400s before 2015 was out in my opinion, which was just ridiculous considering other networks didn’t get rid until 2020/21.
There was a period where some of the 65/16 reg Streetdecks would appear on the 88-88A when new but that soon disappeared once the B7Ls-B7RLEs took over the route with the occasional KP54 then later on the Saffrons of course.
@@Leicesterbusvideos32098I used to say every time I saw a StreetDeck on the 88s they should do them more. I don’t know if it was just the familiarity but everyone I used to know that lived off Saffron Lane always said they preferred Arriva anyway to be honest.
