Casio’s for me, a MRW-200H for the more rugged traveling activities, swimming, ect, a Edifice Tiffany Blue for daily wear, and maybe the Oceanus S100 or S200 for the dinners/meetings, ect.
How do you feel about the Longines all this time later? I wonder if it can successfully scratch this Cartier tank itch I have. I've never had either on my wrist. Cartier just removed the tank solo leather strap small from their site today so might pull the trigger on the 23x37 Dolce Vita. Thanks for any feedback
I think it did somewhat scratch my itch, the dial is real sexy close up. But I think I've just moved on from square watches for the time being. That said, let me know if you want a lightly used dolce Vita on ostrich 😉
It's a Rios 20mm Ostrich strap. Yes the leather is gorgeous, but it's really thin and it's delaminating a bit at the buckle holes. As usual, you get what you pay for.
The Steinhart GMT is gorgeous. However, I heard from other reviewers that the bezel is unidirectional like the divers, when in fact, GMT’s are supposed to rotate in both directions. I thought that was interesting. Curious as to why that was... hard to think that it was a cost saving measure.
Yeah it is unidirectional on the steinhart. I guess you can still operate the GMT bezel function but it would be more of a pain if you go past your mark.

They are both cool but The automatic version doesn't have the separate small second complication. So I went with quartz
