I really like the jack method. Takes only a little more time up front and saves a bunch of dinking around. I think it's important to add the extra uprights once the trailer is out. Great video, Mathew. If I hadn't already solved the problem for me, I probably would have done it this way. I will be remaking my lifting videos this spring. Longer-stronger beam, and a wedge on the beam. I especially like the measuring too you created and the oversize wheels on the cart were exactly a great solution to the unpaved site. Great job!
wish someone would make a video showing the build process of that lifting jack. looked at the blueprint online and don't understand it. would help so many others if there was a video building the jack. easier understanding watching it get done.
The boat stands are brownell's. They don't come cheap. New ones are quite spendy and used ones get snatched up fairly quickly. I was constantly scanning Craigslist, OfferUp and Facebook Marketplace, yard sales etc. I got lucky this week and found four used stands in the size needed for $500. A steal of a deal.
I wrote a lot of emails to Petit the paint company, and I read all of their literature. I was very obsessive about it, and I highly recommend you do the same.

This is a lot of helpful info for us C22 owners. That's a lot of hard work and I'd rather just pay a grand for someone else to do it.
Very nice workmanship, keep posting.
Thanks 👍
Really looking forward to following along with all your videos. Keep them coming please! Found you on the Catalina FB group and just now subscribed.
Awesome! Thank you!

Great video. I have hull #10,197.
Good choice!
Thank you for the video Matthew. QUESTION-What is the brand/model of the blue floor jacks at the transom end?
A friend lent the stands to me.
Not sure of the brand but they’re the ones you can get at west marine.

Where/how did you learn all the paint stuff and that chart? My boat is a fresh water boat that will be 99% salt water once I get it sea worthy.
