Man that machine was pretty darn clean to begin with. Good job explaining all the components. I’ve been working on ice machines for almost 23 years and you do a killer job explaining everything. I wish I had videos like this when I started.
Huge compliment. Thank you for your kind words. I thought the same thing 4 years ago. Now I’m making it happen.
I Enjoy coming to school
👍💪🛠️
Great video work. Can we get extended versions though for someone a bit more unfamiliar. My scotsmans are in awkward spots so would love to see the full breakdown of how you took parts off or got to certain areas
When I get a chance I’ll try to make a more detailed version of this video.
👍🇺🇸💪❄️ awesome great vid so helpful
Right on! 👍
I forget about the timesaver diddle the curtain to trick the harvest cycle shortcut.
A little dittle goes a long way.
Great Video. Thank you for sharing
You’re welcome. Thank you.
For heavy scale buildup,do you disconnect dump valve and close water supply,to let descale work longer?
No. The de-scaler loses its power after about ten minutes. For heavy scale you should run the clean cycle more often and used hot water. Also turn your flush setting to the highest flush setting.
@@IceMachine411yes the 5 setting,i put the water level in a cup of water to keep the cycle going, and use less warm water to keep it at a higher descale concentration.
That’s actually a pretty cool trick!
Hey
Do you ever run across Kold Draft.
Every once in a while. There are about 4 that I service regularly.
Yeah, those are a beast to troubleshoot shoot. That would be a great cleaning video. Especially about the secret screw inside the water tank.
Just tell them in your quote for the bin that what they did is not food safe.
They didn’t care. Said they only use it to ice down water bottles.
I have a Scotsman Ice Machine now and your opinion what is the easiest machine for maintenance.
Manitowoc is easiest for me.
@@IceMachine411 ok thank u sir, for your insight. That will be the next brand I purchase.
@@jarad0714Might want to check out Koolaire.
Manitowoc manufactured, without all the fancy sensors and optional settings, just two float switches.

@@IceMachine411 checked another one of your videos and it was from 2 months ago. You did an even better job and gave more details. You might not realize how many people you are helping. You explain things very clearly so much appreciated for your work and due diligence
