Finding and working towards your "why" is the most powerful thing you can discover. Simon hits the nail on the head

This was my introduction to Simon. The first question to ask is "Why" and the "how" takes care of itself.

Simon Sinek is a genius. He speaks in matter of fact way, yet he is speaking to real life and real family and real job situations. He is persuasive and convincing. He is a gift to the world especially for Kenya, which he refers to in one of his speeches. We need him here but we cannot afford him. Can he give his time, skills and knowledge as a game changing donation to an economy where the majority of the population are millennial. We need a role model, we require Simon Sinek.

nony intelligent? Is this the word maybe you were looking for ? And how he knows how to perfectly articulate the most simple obvious values of life in a very understandable way. I agree he is a genius of common knowledge which he can express, explain, and give a solution to problems. And don't get me wrong with the word "common". His emathpy and deep understanding is beyond any kind of common human beingthinking. It's almost embarrassing... how pure truth and comprehensive attitude about the surrounding world is a solution to everything. If that makes sense lol get high and listen to it. Lol

Wow! Our company just went through a massive lay-off and fortunately, our president is willing to hear about ideas from keeping this happening again. As a school, we have to have a mission statement to keep accreditation. I feel that our mission statement needs to change because it only answers the what and how of what we do, but it fails to answer why we do it. This what I plan to address with my uplines in the company where I have worked for the last 10 years as a Financial Aid Director. Thank you, Simon!

"I saw you help that guy, that was cool" he said. I visited Japan this summer, for them it's way of living. That's how they interact with everyone around them. They help without thinking about it and without expecting a "thanks" afterwards. They just do it. I really hope everyone in the world could be like them, the world would be a fine place.

    Dear Simon
Yours voice all around my head because I got bad situation with my job. I feel that you spoke about type of leader. I agreed with that” if feel fear and paranoid with work that’s mean Unhappy with job anymore. Yes not all other mistakes, it’s my mistake. So I must be better just focusing another thing and improve myself. I can’t stay with the people who don’t recognize I have value. Anyway I love you listen to you. 😊

Thank you Sooo much for the Marine and Caring Secondary School School teacher cases. From childhood my parents and later, Christainity taught me "Others first self last".
Thank u for affirming this behaviour is anthropological, indeed I feel sooo good. Your reference to Rev Sister Theresa also helps, this philosophy has cost me so much e.g.; an extra year during my PhD, of recent my job.

Thank you for this channel! I enjoy these videos immensley, instead of feeling like there arent any like minded people or feeling isolated, I am motivated to greet my day with an entirely different mindset. Even though I may never meet any these speakers, just knowing that my ideas are shared by others has made me want to go out of my comfort zone and talk to people. I am not a socially confident person, but I am getting better. These videos are valuable to me and my state of mind. Thank you for all the work you put into the channel.

We saw this, repeatedly, in the nursing home where my mom was, for awhile. Eventually, we brought her home and cared for her ourselves, where she died peaceful and comfortable, in her sleep, at 95 years of age. Now, this nursing home was awarded four stars: it is one of the best in the country. And if you walk in and take a spin around the resident and patient floors, you will not actually find 'anything wrong'...the caregivers are efficient, uniformed and gloved, and obey the sanitary protocol. But something is not there..is it..engagement? Not really sure. When I once suggested that these people be allowed to upgrade their job skills, get advanced training, be given higher wages, or whatever, I was greeted with dismay, as if I were mad. I believe that if people commit to a profession, (such as eldercare) make it an endeavor for LIFE - then everybody benefits: the patients get top quality care, from someone who REALLY takes patient well-being to heart. And the profession becomes just that - a PROFESSION, attracting dedicated people....not merely a job..

I get what you're saying, Simon, but everyone I've ever told, except for my kids, that I've fed homeless, housed homeless, clothed homeless, have looked at me like I was a complete idiot. Additionally, while it did feel nice I always left feeling saddened because there was so much left undone. I've tried reaching out but the best I could get was a few blankets. Who are these people you know that feel inspired because my idea of success is not money but seeing others, that were hungry, now having a full belly.

Fantastic talk, but he completely overlooks the fact that many people are deficient in oxytocin. The parents who hated their jobs could be sociopaths who just hate feeling under the control of anyone, hate serving anyone, or hate working amongst "peers". I have worked a lot of undesirable jobs and have never hated them because I like people. Even if my boss didn't care that much about me, I still cared about the customers.

The problem is that doctors should heal or help to getting betterr to the sick people not to do buisnes and work for corporations .
They are doctors to help us not to help corporations make more money .
Generally the problem here in this world is that people does not do what they should do .
Many people are just in the wrong places .
We are different and we have different predispositions .
Our work should be consistent with our predispositions and with what we believe and what we like .

if it's one on one you can get over bullying but if there is a gang of bullies you get overwhelmed. That's what the internet does. I was scarred by an incident in sixth grade because they ganged up on me. and that wasn't the internet. black and white words have 10(?) times the bite that physical contact does.

I love how you explain how to build trust! but if Mother Theresa would not had sacrificed herself the way she did then all those things she was able to accomplish would be in vein. She gave her life for her belief in God and weather or not said she started to doubt about his existence she never wavered. She was human and as a human there will definitely be some doubt.
