Spider-Men is a five-issue, 2012 superhero comic book miniseries published by Marvel Comics, featuring Peter Parker, the original Spider-Man, and Miles Morales, the second and current Ultimate Marvel version of Spider-Man, who appear together in a crossover storyline that involves the two alternate universes from which they each originate. The series is written by Brian Michael Bendis and illustrated by Sara Pichelli. It marks the first time that characters from the original Marvel Universe and the Ultimate Universe have crossed over since the latter debuted in 2000.

Rob always misses another reason why Spider-Man uses jokes is he doesn't want the people he's fighting to know how worried he actually is.

I think that's true with his top villians or if he's really hurt to play it down, but his battles with say shocker he's well aware he's going to beat him so he's having a great time
This story is filled with the exaggerated swagger of a black teen it gives me goosebumps everytime.

Miles was already mentioned in the MCU. Donald Glover as Aaron Davis (aka the Prowler) briefly mentions he has a nephew to Peter Parker.

I never understood the hate for Miles Morales. I can understand the worry and dislike of someone replacing Peter Parker as Spider-Man, especially for those who grew up reading the Ultimate comics for 11 years, but that isn't what ultimately happened. Bendis made sure that Miles was not Peter Parker. He's not a replacement. He's a successor. And above all, he is his own character. That's what so many characters who take up the mantle are always missing.

I like the fact that Miles has a totally different skill set. He's about the same age as ultimate spiderman started.
But in terms of personality, morals, and characterization his character in the comics was either to similar to Peter or muddle and undercooked to make them his own

I never got over Peter Parker's death. Ultimate Universe Peter was my favorite version of Spider Man.
Same maybe one day he returns or we get an alternate universe where he never died.

Miles' dad in the comics "I'm gonna call the cops!" Miles' dad in the movie "I ought to arrest you" wonder where that came from or if it was put in for the cool interactions Miles will get.
miles was a fresh take on spider-man and the creator of miles did really good. it was also cool that he made a story where miles and peter met. it not only made the haters look stupid but probably also answered spider-man fans questions on if peter and miles will ever meet.

I think miles powers make it VERY hard for mysterio. He can turn invisible which would make it hard for the holograms to track and attack miles. Then the venom blast really messes up what ever it touches.

Just started reading Miles Morales and I’m loving it. I like Peter but Miles story is more relatable to my teenage years.

Another thing I’d like to add (related to the part where Rob says why there isn’t any Daredevil or any other ground level heroes to take care of crime rings) is that a lot of the ultimate heroes, including Daredevil, were killed off in Ultimatum, which, in my opinion, was pretty cool (probably because I only read the Ultimate Spider-Man tie-ins, outside of that, the general consensus on Ultimatum is that it’s just an edgy event which killed *almost* all the major heroes). Ultimatum basically is just Magneto destroying 6 billion people and causing a flood in New York.
I took a break after binge.watching a bunch of the full story videos then I watched a video about the new spiderman game and then today I see this time to binge again

You may already know so forgive the redundancy if that’s the case but you don’t need a PS5 to play Spider-Man: Miles Morales. It’s also available on PS4 AND you can get the digital version that transfers from PS4 to PS5 when/if you eventually upgrade. Hope this helps!

I think the reason nick fury buys his story is because like you said Peter Parker was a known hero. Imagine nick sees this new Peter, nick is the greatest spy ever he can read body language syntax everything. And everything is telling him this is Peter. Not only that but in the ultimate universe he's a super soldier so all his normal perceptions are enhanced he could probably hear his heartbeat and everything he is literally a walking lie detector

Despite some flaws this run meant a lot to me and his arc is amazing. I think the reason Miles isn’t as good until Ahmed takes over is that his arc is complete at the end of The Roxxon stuff, his self acceptance of being Completed his character arc and after that he has nothing to strive for
