I doubt a movie really could have done this storyline justice, even if they tried. Honestly, I think series are a much better medium for comics. This story has so many things going on at once that it'd be incredibly messy and shallow to try and include it all.

@@whodoyoutrust3605 Actually it makesperfect sense, you've got to remember the reasons why they went to the future and the fact that it was supposed to be a stealth mission. Unfortunatley, because Suesan went rougue, the whole mission fell apart where she was the essentual part of the mission.
Yes, it wouldn't have undone all that had happened, but it would have severed future Ultron's influence on the present, which would have actually given them a fighting chance.
Milo Jimewbi it was already established that susan storms invisibility would have meant nothing to ultron who can see her heat signature. its the most advanced robot ever conceived its not gonna lose to invisibility....
Ultrons main body yes, most definately, but they arnt all made equivalently to eachother.

I love how in comics they always jump to the most extreme options, "we could go back and kill pym" yeah..you could go back and murder your friend...or just tell him not to make Ultron.

There have been some like Planet Hulk and some other like Next Avengers, Hulk vs Thor/Wolverine. Doctor Strange, Ultimate Avengers, Black Panther and an animated iron Man film but they just seem to have stopped after Disney now owns Marvel studios

You know what I love about Rob's channel? He helps me fall asleep, and I learn about superheroes. His deeply soothing narrative voice wraps me in a blanket made from hero facts intertwined with lore. The best part is that I can watch multiple times because I always end up passing out halfway through his videos sometimes. Then I have crazy superhero dreams. Thanks Rob!

Why doesn't magneto defeat Ultron if he is made of adamantium since he ripped the adamantium out of wolverine's body he should be able to just destroy Ultron right?
@Peasant From what I read Ultron is hooked up to the Internet. So that means unless you erase everything on the Internet in it's entirety then Ultron will just rebuild himself.
I'm sure Magneto is dead because I was thinking the same thing it's a shame that I needed his dad because he would really come in handy here

They fast,they smart,designed to repel 100 tons in body and strength feat wise,lastly they in the moment can do what ironman must invent and prep to do.

Time travel is one of those thing that can ruin a really good concept, and it did it in aces and spades here. It made a story that felt far less focused on Ultron and the superheroes struggling to survive and even maybe defeat him. It focused instead on extremely convoluted and nonsensical butterfly effects that had no real connection to what happened in the first half of the comic series. A real shame.

This was the issue. I found Rob. I remember it like it was yesterday, I had just watched the MCU's Age of Ultron, and I was never a faithful comic reader, but I was hungry for more info about this story. And I found Comics Explained.... I've listened to every episose, not just the Ultron story since then and I'm still here.

Adamantium claws go directly through Adamantium skull and directly into soft, squishy brain. I don't imagine Wolverine can come back from having his brains pureed. Case and point, didn't Shadowcat once kill him by passing her hand through his skull to scramble his brain?

The portrayal of Ultron in the film was disappointing to me for two reasons. One, Ultron is the opposite of humanity. He is 100% machine. He doesn't like us and he doesn't want to be like us. He hates humanity and wants it destroyed. Second, Ultron is inevitable. He will win, at some point in the future at least, he will outgrow and outthink everyone and everything and just win, as it was depicted when Kang and the Avengers time traveled to the far future. These two aspects of Ultron the film did not depict. I get how Ultron's mannerisms and speech was akin to Tony Stark, him being his 'dad' in the film, but that's not what Ultron brings to the table as a character. Also, killing Ultron? Fat chance.

Everything Thor saw in his vision was centred around the age of Ultron comics during the entire run.
The Avengers in the MCU movie avoided that future.
Remember his words from the movie regarding said vision and around what it was centered. The mind stone.

(As in order that they came out so one could sit down and watch the story of all these characters as they were originally written at that time.)

No because invisible woman didnt go back with wolverine to the day he killed Hank Pym, she most likely died in the La Fey attack
