@@malakaikamara306 as someone who just recently read through all of this, after seeing anna in spiderverse and getting curious enough to check her out, the storyline where doc comes back is called "Dead No More" and is a direct continuation of the spiderverse storyline, which in turn is a continuation of the superior spiderman storyline/goblin nation. it's mostly told in "the amazing spiderman" comics (starting with issue 16) and the "the clone conspiracy" books. might wanna give it a read, it's pretty good^^

I love stories like this one. I love it when a villain takes on a heroes mantle. It’s really a unique perspective and it’s really refreshing. Like the one with Dr Doom becoming Iron Man. If you find anymore to upload Rob, please do bro!
I mean in this situation the heroes whole life i mean there has been different people taking on the role of Spider Man like Miles Morales of the Ultimate Universe and Ben Reilly in the 1990’s at a time and now a villain like Otto Octavius who took over the body of Peter Parker aka The Original Spider Man

The Amazing Spider Man can only battle Green Goblin I mean think about it he cracks more wisecracks that get under Green Goblins skin which makes him more annoying but the only one he needs to stop making wisecracks with is Mac Gargan Venom and Eddie Brock Venom since the Venom symbiote knows more about Peter Parker than any of his main villains

Otto Octavius insults you in more of a straight direct mocking you way and Peter Parker is more sarcastic and funny type of guy
I mean that’s the part where you get all excited and surprised by it because Otto Octavius saying that someone is better than him is something you never see everyday and Green Goblin can tell the difference between Otto and Peter was just funny

I mean the comparison we can make between both Otto and Peter is that Otto is serious and arrogant and brash and more planned out with Peter Peter is more childish in a sense and makes quips and wisecracks during his fights which makes Peter more of a entertaining Spider Man
The relationship of Green Goblin and Spider Man is what’s special because Goblin recognized Parker by a simple remark
The conclusion is kinda strange and forced in many ways. Otto had a very nice way to handle crime in comparison to Peter.
Marvel need to stop giving us a situation for Peter Parker like being successful and then taking it away the next day. Reminds me of how Ash can never win a Pokemon championship
Edit: Of course everyone comes back years after with Gods hindsight and says Ash won a championship but look at when I wrote the comment.
Also, years later, ash won a championship and retired from the anime and Spider-Man is still being dogged on in the comics smh

Well, that's what was supposed to happen with All New Marvel but a certain group of people wouldn't STFU about Ultimate SpiderMan Miles Morales taking up that mantle. Now we have two ground level Spider Men again. If Marvel had balls they would have killed Peter Parker in Secret Wars.

I love that we got a look into the psyche of Doc Ock, he's so much more fleshed out now and he's infinitely more interesting
Him coming from an abusive background and him being looked down on by his peers is what basically the villain Doctor Octopus but by living the memories of Spider Man and making vow became the very hero that he despises
Now he's my favorite version of Spider-man. I kind of wish the character, suit, and overall person of Superior Spider-man is simply how Spider-man is and Peter is like this because of his rough up bringing. In my opinion that would make a better and compelling Spider-man, one that I'd look up to more.
I never thought I would experience pity for doc oc. Almost teared up when he spilled his guts to peter and when anne mari spoke to peter at the end.
I mean his character wasn’t really explained in the original comics of Amazing Spider Man until Dying Wish and Superior Spider Man 2013 run where we see he grew up in a Abusive household with his father and him being smothered by his Mother growing up with barely any conversational skills whatsoever
Ultimate Spider-Man introduced me into reading Spider-Man comics but Superior Spider-Man is what got me cemented into reading Spider-Man comics!!!

Otto Octavius was a cool Spider Man he introduced new type of stuff like a new relationship,gadgets,and interesting stories.

I LOVE this comic, its actually what got me into reading Spider-man, I can wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who wants to start reading spider-man but doesn't know where to read from.

Superior Spiderman was one of the most interesting characters ever. Conflicted all the way through Superior Spider is neither Dr Octo , not is he really Peter Parker . In my own mine Dr Parker is really a frankenstein of both . With the conflicting emotions and memories of both.

They’re a lot of tidbits in Marvel let’s be honest Howard The Duck in Guardians Of The Galaxy and Marvel LEGO Super Heroes video game
One of the coolest things about this story, imo, is how all the tech that the super heros use *cough* Unstable Molecules *cough* is kept secret to the outside world and the general public. Meaning that all the stuff like vibranium, adamantium, or unstable molecules; are considered just "Theoretical" not actually put into practice.

No it is not superior Spider-Man. It’s confirmed that it is six-arm Spider-Man. Sony made an official easter eggs video on their channel about it.
It kinda makes you realize that Peter is just one of those special people, who is willing to do what’s right despite the backlash or the consequence, he will save everyone, even his villains, because that’s the right thing to do, while Doc was doing his best, and you see that at the end when he starts crying, he tried, he did his best, the only way he knew how, and honestly it wasn’t that bad, but no one is like Peter.

Was Ock always this funny or is this Peter having an influence on him? I'm dead. Leaving aside how clever it is as a sort of nostalgic callback while still being a perfectly relevant quip for either of them but more cutting for it to be Ock himself saying... that is hillarious.

thanks for putting these full stories together in convenient formats for both episodic and binge viewership. most creators wouldn't think to cater to that kind of convenience especially when the videos already exist, despite that forcing binge viewers to constantly search out each individual subsection of these big massive stories

I've watched this all before but I love watching the full stories when I have some time. It's like a movie I've seem before on in the background. Got to the part where Anna Marie was making ice cream and you asked our favorite flavors. I got two: Orange Sherbet and Mint Chocolate Chip (separately and to mix them would be a sin against all life in existence...) so yeah, I like Mint Chip... fight me!

this kinda reminds me of the film: " Being John Malkovich" in wich the protagonist while possesing malcovich (and/or others) is sometimes able to persuade their choices/actions a little (like a subconscious) and other times taking complete control of them.

This story really speaks to how Spider-Man has only allies and acquaintances at best amongst the entire Superhero landscape aside from the Spider-Fam and the various villains.
Outside of Johnny Storm, Wolverine might be the closest to him outside of it. Which is crazy to consider.
The craziest part about it to me is out of everyone Logan has ever known, he invites the kid he admits gets on his nerves like few can to hang out on his birthday.
After Peter stops him killing a guy, he explains why.

Glad to hear someone else appreciate Spider-Man's Spider-sense. When people ask me which two heroes I would combine, I always say: Spider-Man & The Flash. Spider-sense gives an early warning, and his speed will allow him to solve the problem before it even is a problem. (Also: It gives the Flash part an advantage against other speedsters: When running up buildings he can stop halfway through and stick to the wall.)

Spiderman's spider-sense is OP as all hell.
If you're fighting spiderman, you're not just fighting spiderman.
You're fighting the spiderman from 10 seconds ago, because no matter what you do, spiderman is always 10 seconds ahead of you.
And 10 seconds may not sound like a lot, until you realise that a simple dodge can throw off most attacks, and spiderman has 10 seconds to prepare for it.
Sure, you can nuke him, but with his strength, i reckon he'd be able to dodge volleys of RPG fire.

I dropped out of comics quite a while ago, but throughout the years I always checked in on the superhero family I grew up with.
So I knew about the whole Doc Ock superior Spider-Man situation but I didn't know any of the details as I hadn't taken the time to read in the comics ,I was out of the game so to speak. So I just want to thank you for putting this video together, it was amazing.
Although I have no plans to become the collector and Avid Reader of comics That I Used to Be, .... Once a comic nerd, always a comic nerd.
Same boat. Pretty much stopped reading mainstream books except for a couple. I stayed aware of what was going on but wasn't interested in reading long arcs, but this makes me feel like I missed something good. Might have to buy the trade paperback when it comes out.

The whole point of this story arc is that no matter how hard Doc Ock tried. He was never the superior Spiderman and will never be a superior spiderman. That Peter Parker will always and has always been the better spiderman.

Considering that the Venom symbiote had all of Peter Parker's memories and that was how Eddie Brock was able to figure out that Spiderman was Peter Parker cuz the Symbiote told him the Symbiote bonding to Otto Octavius Parker may have retrigger the memories because of the Symbiotes healing ability that's my theory
