- ▸ Miles Morales is a teenager from Brooklyn who was bitten by a Genetically Altered Spider and became Earth-1610's Spider-Man following the death of that reality's Peter Parker.
After the Multiverse was destroyed and subsequently rebuilt, Miles Morales, along with his friends and family, were transported to Earth-616 and rewritten into that world's history.

I adore these videos... and... I am certainly more on the MCU side of things, since I never really knew the comics. Basically, I really like the MCU and your videos, and that's my experience with Marvel. Not super cool OG, I know but whatever. So, when the secret wars part came on, I had to stop the video. I do wish that if there was a part of the comic that was most likely going to be used in the films, that there was a hypothetical-spoiler warning.
I know that is super complex, and, I really prefer going into those films effectively blind. I don't even watch trailers.
But, maybe that's just me.

I have Miles Morales: Ultimate Spider-Man Ultimate Collection Volume 3 and it is a completely different story and takes place further than this, but the ending says “Miles Morales will be seen next in Secret Wars.”
I want to see this happen now. I know the Invincible comic series is finished, but I would like to see something like this happen, a crossover of sorts.

Currently, I'm following The Ultimate Invasion storyline and sorry to tell you but Ultimate universe is still dead. And the one that The Maker went to is one that he created called Earth-6160.

Right now, I'm trying to read the entire Ultimate Universe by reading every volume of Ultimate Spider-Man, Ultimate X-Men, Ultimate Fantastic Four, The Ultimates (1 and 2 except 3), Ultimate DareDevil and Elektra, Ultimate Iron Man, Ultimate Thor, Ultimate Captain America, Ultimate Origins, Ultimate Human, Ultimate Galaktus trilogy, Ultimate Power, Ultimate Wolverine vs Hulk, Ultimate Comics: X-Men, Hickman's The Ultimates, Divided we fall, Cataclysm: (The Ultimates' Last Stand, X-Men, Miles Morales), Spider-Men(Where 616 Spider-Man meets Miles Morales), and Ultimate End.

I like the way Spiderverse handled Prowler's character better I think. That Prowler was a criminal kind of by necessity, and that he was going down a dark path where he would become a killer until he finds out Miles is Spider-man, and realizes the gravity of taking lives. They gave Prowler a nice character arc through the movie. In the comic he wasn't conflicted at all. He was not only willing to kill his own nephew, but ready to "drop his corpse" in front of his own brother's house. It's almost like Bendis was afraid to make Prowler more relatable and morally ambiguous since he knew he was going to kill him.
Well there should be good Spidey Junior throwing a hissy fit of course there was that one meeting with Deadpool where he had his head severed by him

Im enjoying the show personally. I'm okay with the intimate feel for this genre. Whats better another giant cgi fest or focusing on the small stories within a giant story. Their actions are still shaping the bigger story line. Plus how much tension and suspense could they have achieved by throwing in avengers? They would've lost a ton of this fantastic focus on these complex relationships.
I get it the shows don't have the huge budgets. However, people aren't appreciating how diverse theae shows are. I haven't loved everyone but thats the whole point. Those shows are still okay to me but they're taking us all over the comics and giving us a ton of variety. My favorite part of Werewolf by night was the introduction. How cool was it they showed us the Avengers and within seconds opened us up to a whole new world, the supernatural. In my personal opinion people really need to appreciate what they're getting before it goes away.
I don't think they're above criticism and Thor was a great example. There was no excuse for what we got, with the huge budget these movies had. They need to do better and i do think the Guardians movie was back to the quality we're supposed to get. I don't want to laugh every two seconds but appreciate comedy when its placed appropriately in the movie. I'm afraid that people are becoming very toxic and we're going to lose something i cant get enough of.
I believe the quality is about to improve and thats great. Give me better movies and they will. We've had moments that aren't as great in the MCU and then they turn around and give us brilliant material. Not to mention the challenge of the pandemic and introducing new characters after Endgame. They combined all these amazing characters and placed it into two movies that gave us the best cinematic experience of my lifetime. They had the entire world on a cliffhanger for a year. Thanos became someone everyone in the world knew and there were countless memes, channels created to cover the MCU, etc.
I truly hope the MCU last forever or at least mt lifetime. I hope they do improve some quality but they can't please everyone. I hope fans take a step back and start to enjoy the amazing experience we're getting.
Marvel does need to do better but so do the fans. Nowhere else do we get supernatural, earth, cosmic, mutants and more.
There is so much more to experience and before Marvel gets to add in some of the best characters ever. I truly hope fans to continue to show their support, so they can afford to do these giant, high budget movies.
Thanks everyone and we're all fans. Just seems like everyone is focused on picking at every little thing they have an issue with. Let's not ruin it and try to remember life before the MCU. I've always been a fan of movies but had lost ny child like excitement of going to the theatre. The last time i had it, the last of the Lord of the Rings movies.
Marvel gave me that excitement back and has me watching TH-cam channels.
Please don't give up on them and enjoy the experience. If the quality doesn't begin to improve, then Marvel needs to take pause and listen. However, Kevin is laser focused now and we're about to get some of the most amazing movies in the MCU. Sorry but i just feel like more people feel this way and aren't speaking their mind.

Nobody probably cares but I got into comics from watching this channel and comicstorian. I read comics for about 1.5 years and despite loving them about 60% of the dialogue within them felt like a burden to read. I think I'll just stick to comicsexplained and comicstorian for now.
I think the reason the cops in Spider-Men treat Peter like a criminal is to later contrast it with how he is celebrated in 1610
